Kia Soul Head Removal Part 3

This is the final part of the head removal but this is the installation of the head. This is on a 2011 Kia Soul with a 2.0 liter engine. I show the final parts that need to be removed and then install the head with all of the torque specs. I will also include all the torque specs here as well as the parts below.
Torque Specs:
Intake Manifold: 11-16 lb ft
Exhaust manifold: 31-40 lb ft
M10 Cylinder Head bolts: 16 lb ft, 20 lb lft + 65 degrees, 65 degrees
M12 Cylinder head bolts: 20 lb ft, 33 lb ft + 65 degress, 65 degrees
Camshaft bearing caps: 11 lb ft
Timing Chain tensioner: 20 lb ft
Cam sprocket: 75 lb ft
Timing belt Idler: 32-40 lb ft
Harmonic balancer bolt: 123 lb

What is a normal cost for the machineshop to do what you had done

I would say somewhere between 500 and 700 roughly but that could differ based on locality and shop rates.

Did you put new oil filter in it

Yes, I put a new one on and some of these kias like to use a factory brand filter only. They will throw a vvt code sometimes if a kia/hyundai brand filter is not used.
