Hi Karen, whenever I am feeling down, I will always come to watch your videos and be reminded that I have big dreams to pursue. Having anxiety and depression all up in a mix had made me put a hold on my school career. At the end of sophomore year I had a melt down and didn't go back till just this month. And it is hard to adjust back as I'm trying to graduate, apply to college and not feel like a failure when the rest of my friends have stellar grades. It has been hard not to be hard on myself. But having you as a role model has helped me realize that I can become something bigger than I think I will be. So thank you so much for being real and staying positive for your viewers. Thank you so much for sharing. Something I always like to remind myself of is that it's best to be hated on than to be ignored. Just think about that. If you were so bad at anything you're doing, you wouldn't be worth a bad comment or a dislike, the fact that someone is actually taking the time to make a negative remark means that your work has value and for the most part these "haters" are mad at themselves for not having the courage of doing what you're doing: working on YOUR PASSION. I'm so glad you made this video. College is SO HARD. I'm at university right now and I honestly don't feel like I'm doing anything. UA-cam is my only outlet but I've been putting it on the back burner since college is SO demanding.

My parent are so disappointed in me and I feel like they are ashamed of me. Especially when I have not given them the full truth...I am really scared. Really scared.
Sometimes I feel so lost girl, cuz I didnt even agree on going to school just because it wasnt my thing and I knew it, and it was so difficult to stand up to my parents and say "I don't know what im gonna do yet, all i know is that im not going". What I mean to say is that sometimes you just don't know where you are going yet, and you need to take time for yourself without all that pressure. It's funny how that's a feeling almost all of us can relate to. It's so bloody scary, specially for me was because of the "not knowing" what i want yet, but well, you'll nail it girl. Trust that.

Sharing your story with us takes guts, and I applaud you for it. I was on the same boat as you, I was so confused in college and had no clue what I wanted to do with my life, so I took a year off as well. But once I came back from my hiatus, I figured out what I wanted to do and even had the opportunity to study abroad in Paris for one full year. And I'm graduating this summer. For every failure there's room for growth and opportunity. I totally agree with this little quote. Just remember Kareno that you are never alone. You are an inspiration to many, including myself.
I love how genuine and down to earth you are, I think you're an amazing girl full of great ideas and I know you're gonna do amazing things in life! Keep going! For every hate message or dislike there's at least a couple people who love what you do!

But now, I also feel very grateful that I could have that moment to really think what I wanna do. And now, I sort of know more myself of my hobbies, my advantages. I don't care other people's talking, cause I can't stop their mouths,but I could live my life and my best version. You are very inspired me when you talk about your life. And I really love you, cause you have the courage to live your version of life. You are the best.

I was so lost in university and after third year I dropped out of my business program to pursue what I love - design. I first watched the other Hear to Heart video you mentioned on here which lead me to this video. Right now during my time off school, I really do feel like a failure and feel worthless but after watching these two videos, I feel a bit better about myself. this video is literally one of the most important videos i could be watching on youtube at the moment because especially where i live everyone is expected to go to college and get straight As and its not that i dont want to do that i just really want to have something to do with fashion and i think your so inspirational because you are just showing that every time you fail there will be a moment where you will feel like shit but you will feel better and things will get better. I think one of the biggest issues with what you went through is that we *all* go through something similar yet we feel like we're alone in dealing with it. I'm super proud of you for picking yourself back up and heading full steam for what you want. I'm truly happy for you. As the quote goes: "Always aim for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." (As a side note, I think when it come to criticism/critiquing, a lot of viewers are afraid to say something that might not agree with the bevy of positive comments. People can be ruthless and I know I've been bombarded with angry responses for admitting I don't like something about a video. It can make you feel so *small* for simply speaking your mind. But it's just another step in path; we can't please everyone

I just finished my freshman year at college and honestly... I didn't do as well as I'd hoped and I wanted to give up many times. this video is literally one of the most important videos i could be watching on youtube at the moment because especially where i live everyone is expected to go to college and get straight As and its not that i dont want to do that i just really want to have something to do with fashion and i think your so inspirational because you are just showing that every time you fail there will be a moment where you will feel like shit but you will feel better and things will get better. I probably shouldn't tell you everything that im feeling inside right now because i would definitely right a novle but i think you should know its ok to cry and that you really are a true inspiration.

I've been following your channel for a while now. I've always loved your videos! One thing I can completely relate is I'm also from Hong Kong so there are some sort of expectations imposed on me. I think one of the biggest issues with what you went through is that we *all* go through something similar yet we feel like we're alone in dealing with it. I'm super proud of you for picking yourself back up and heading full steam for what you want. I'm truly happy for you. As the quote goes: "Always aim for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land among the stars."
(As a side note, I think when it come to criticism/critiquing, a lot of viewers are afraid to say something that might not agree with the bevy of positive comments. People can be ruthless and I know I've been bombarded with angry responses for admitting I don't like something about a video. It can make you feel so *small* for simply speaking your mind. But it's just another step in path; we can't please everyone

So, when I first found out about you, I didn't love you. I thought you were some Jenn Im wannabe or something like that but looking at your new videos now I think you really grew and it's actually SO inspiring. I just finished my freshman year at college and honestly... I didn't do as well as I'd hoped and I wanted to give up many times. This video motivated me to keep trying, and to get off my ass this summer and do something productive. Gonna go pick up a copy of #GIRLBOSS now too haha.
