Northern California Bodega Bay BlueFin Tuna Fishing

What's Up Guys,
Welcome back to my Channel, Sorry I've been away for quite some time, without salmon fishing I've been busy with work and just mainly rock fishing/Lingcod Fishing at Rittenburg bank with the 2023 Deep Water Regulations. I didn't record much of those videos because its been pretty much the same as always, just jigging for rockfish and I just really wanted to show you guys something different.
With that being said, I purchased most of my BFT gear last year, and finally gave it a try this year. First attempt at it, out of Half Moon Bay weather Buoy, resulted in a skunk. This is our second attempt at the Elusive NorCal Blue Fin Tuna and we struck gold. This trip took place on November 4th, 2023 which was the 2023 Dungeness Crab Season Opener and our crew consisted of my Dad, Little Brother Norva, and my buddy Stan (Fv Wet Wet).
I will be making another video in the next few days on the tackle, gear, and any tips or techniques that I think helped us become successful. It cost a lot of money to chase these beautiful fish, I understand it and would like to give any details I have to help you guys whatever ways I can.

The bluefin tuna fishing season in Bodega Bay usually starts in May and lasts until October. It can also vary with the number of fish

Nice fish fellas...I'm moving up there soon so Bodega bay here I come....been fishing these blues in so-cal 34yrs.......you guys got albies up there yo huh?.......it'd be nice to know somebody up there......I got knowledge and alotta gear......alot.....nice fish guys!!!!
