- I do a full walkaround with the brand new Mosko Moto woodland luggage. I LOVE the colors!
Here’s a list of all items I purchased.
- Backcountry 35L Pannier Kit (V2.1)
WOODLAND / 2 Pockets
- Aux Pox - 5L × 2
WOODLAND
- Nomax Tank Bag × 1
WOODLAND
- Backcountry 40L Duffle/Pack (V2.0) × 1
WOODLAND
- Backcountry Cinch Straps (pair) × 1 - Авто та транспорт
The colors look so good in that setup and the tent pole holder is a great idea. Nice.
Thanks for the review. I've been eyeing these for a few months for my ktm 899 adventure. Love the excitement in your voice and happy and safe riding! Great review!
Thank you! I absolutely love them. And same to you!
Great Review ! Having already bought these, I see you covered everything real well !
Thank you!
Can’t wait to see more content! Stay safe!
Just came across your channel. Great review on Mosko Moto. I recently scored a complete set of backcountry panniers 10:36 for $300. The entire set. I fell in love when the Mosko Moto. I even bought the tank bag. Love organization
It’s fantastic stuff! Glad you got such a great deal!
Thank you for putting this video together.
an incredible looking bike
Excellent review! Thank you
Thanks for the review I currently have the rackless 80BMW GS. I love the system but it is a pain to pack. Also if you set up camp and want to go ride you can’t just easily remove it. It’s about five minutes of work to unless the whole system. I love how easy these are to put it off and I feel like the side bags will be easier to load and unload
I agree! The rackless is nice for a more low profile setup. But packing these side bags is definitely easier. And the mounting system is great! I’m not a huge fan of having the big plastic piece on the bike all the time while I’m not using the luggage. But it’s a small complaint to all of the benefits of this luggage. Thanks for watching!
Looks like a perfect match all around! 😍TYSM for all the support.
Thank you! And thank you guys for making awesome products and helping to grow the adv community!
Really nice review 👌 That woodland is a cool color. Liked to see the 40l Duffle strapped up to minimum size and not fully packed, gave me a better idea of how it looks now. I have the R80 V3 but look in to complement it with a duffle.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it. This setup has worked really well for me so far. I’ve also watched quite a few of your videos as well back when I was considering a 790, thanks for sharing those.
@@EpicAdventuresOffroad Oh, thats cool. What plans do You have for this years advriding?
Awesome review mate... 🤠👍
Thanks!
Great review bro
Thank you so much, very good review 👍
great review!!!
Gonna order as soon as they get them back in stock
Very interesting video, thanks for sharing! I have no doubt about the quality of Mosko Moto gear as well as your big bike ;)
Wow those are really nice. I have the same setup on my BMW. I've laid my bike down on tough trails many times and those bags took it well. They are scratched up but they never tore open. I really like your setup (probably because mine are the same). After my BMW I bought at KTM 500 EXC-F and put the Mosko 40L rackless bags on that bike. I really like MoskoMoto.
Love the color
Hey dude, Thanks for the awesome review, great quality video and audio and detailed review really show the features and the colours. Ill get the order in tonight i think. Well worth a like and subscribe. Cheers Dude!
Awesome. Glad to have helped with your decision! Thanks for watching!
Man the new woodland colors look great. I have the whole system but in the bmw Atacama branding, granted its basically gen 1 of these bags they work awesome and stay very secure on the bike in the rough. Also with my Former military brain the whole modularity is very familiar. Great vid
Yep! Love the whole system. Just finished with my first camp and ride while having them on the bike and it was great. Best soft luggage on the market I’d say.
Outstanding review 👌🏾 like the color of the bags as well
Thank you!
Very nice review, great bike!! and very cool looking luggage. So your notes say this Backcountry luggage is version 2.1. The MoskoMoto website show V2.1 luggage only in the black / grey trim color but for the new V2.5 luggage, there are 2 color variations in addition to the standard Black.
Yeah this was a while ago now. But I haven't looked at there most current color options. Thanks for watching!
I have the v2.0 on the same bike. Very pleased. Don’t think I’ll go with any other luggage system now.
Good choice! I love it.
Thas a Great Set up . I have this on my r1200gs..35L Pannier V2.1 and the Nomax Tank Bag .. ( in Grey) and it is Perfect Gear . Really Tough I run this since 2021 and during 2021 and 2022 i make close to 30 000km with this . And I drop the bike more thand 20 time, and no problem the Pannier take the beat and stay perfect . I love Mosko Moto Gear ..
That’s awesome man!
awe come on a few zippers and clips while your riding would be a new adventure haha. When you really need your sunglasses. Nice bag setup. Will be curious too see how the work for you.
Haha, I actually did end up grabbing my glasses while riding on this last trip. Wasn’t too hard. Definitely couldn’t put them away while riding, but that’s all good. And the bags were awesome on the lake pillsbury trip. Super happy with them.
Dawn dish detergent cap works best on the msr bladder, quick open and close to wash hands etc.
Awesome idea! Thanks .
Awesome and detailed coverage. Better than the Mosko video itself 😂
That’s a great compliment. Thank you!
@@EpicAdventuresOffroad actually helped me buy one 😃
If you have ever travelled different countries on your bike, you will know how handy having a tool to change sim cards is 😀. Roaming data can get really expensive compared to cheap, local sims.
Just bought the R80 charwood, was torn between these woodland panniers and the R80. I ride a Honda ATAS, do you have any experience pros/cons with the R80 vice these panniers? I'm thinking on returning the R80 for these. Thanks in advance for the advice. Your bike looks awesome with these!!! Love the woodland look on it!
Wooow man
That bags is soooo asowm
Very Nice review! I have the same set but 25 and 30. If they ditch the rubber bag for a ripstop nylon I think it will be easier to load and lighter
Thanks for watching! Interesting idea. I do enjoy having the rubber bag for durability, and knowing that’s it’s completely waterproof. Could ripstop maintain those properties?
Durability maybe, water proofness, never.
Hey Enrique, sorry for the delayed response, but I was just able to get google translate to work and can understand your questions.
Unfortunately, the translation it gave me for your first question doesn’t make sense in English, so I’m sorry but I can’t help you on that one. As far as the second question, they are indeed off-road pants! They are called Klim Switchback Cargo pants. And I highly recommend them. Excellent pants, and very comfortable.
Thanks for watching!
How did these bags work for you the last year, any downsides you can talk about? I’m looking for soft panniers and the Mosko ones look really nice!
i just started to watch the video and the first question is "anyone can steal the luggage just pulling the release?"... basically these sort of bags are ok just for back country, if you park in a city you have to take your chances... nice video, you seem a cool guy!
Thank you for watching! Mosko makes some decent solutions for keeping the soft bags secure. (Steel cable that goes around the whole bag and into your racks) or what easier, and I don’t think I mentioned it in the video, but on the release there are holes that line up on the latch when it’s on the bike, you can put a small lock on there and no one would be able to take them without cutting the lock. That’s what I would do. Hopefully that helps. 🤙
Thanks for this. I’ve got exactly the same panniers and tank bag on order but in grey/black. I’ve got the 30l scout duffle. How are you packing your bags? Tent, mat, cook gear etc?
Glad you enjoyed it. And you’re going to love them! I’ll get a video put out soon for how I pack everything. Stay tuned. 👍
I just picked up the 2022 Ktm 1290 adventure R today. I was trying to find that colour but they are sold out until August now so I’ll be most likely getting the silver set again.
I initially thought you have the 30l duffel but maybe you just have it rolled up tighter.
Bummer! It’s hard for them to keep this stuff in stock it seems. There’s quite a bit of demand for their luggage. And you are correct, I just have the duffle rolled up tighter in this video so that it would fit between the racks on my bike. I actually run the bag sideways now and that works perfectly for my bike. Thanks for watching!
Awesome review, thanks a lot!!! Btw, what center steering damper you are using there (brand, model...)?
Thank you! It’s a Scott’s steering stabilizer.
now this is a nice system.. Bye bye my alu panniers!!!! I want this.....
Thanks for the video! Isn't the dufflebag the 30L ?
at 7:09 you can see clearly that the tent pole bag is fully covering the duffle bag. At the mosko moto website i found out that the 40L bag has way more space on both sides. As well as on the total display of the duffle bag on the bike i found it quite small on your bike? Or is the duffle bag just rolled to a smaller size?
I am in doubt for the 30 or 40l that's why i am asking 🙂Thanks again!
Great looking bags. Just ordered mine last night. The woodland colors sealed the deal. How do you like the duffle? I’m on the fence. Thanks for the review.
Congrats! Love the woodland for sure. Regarding the duffle- it’s a fantastic bag. Well designed, fairly light considering how much it can hold, and the beaver tail on top is really handy for me to carry a tripod, fishing pole, and my tent stakes. Good luck! Thanks for the comment!
Could you add a list of the bags and accessories that you ordered to the description please? That looks a really good set up.
It’s done! Thanks for watching.
Nice review! What brand did you use for the metal racks on the motorcycle?
Thank you! And they are Hepco and Becker racks.
did they stop offering this? I went to order some backcountries and dont see it listed anymore
What is the utility of Aux Pox? I am confused if i get the aux pox as well, please let me know ur utility, i don't need extra fuel as GSA has 30L tank.
It’s just a secondary area to carry small items, or things that you want quick access too when you’re on a ride. I love having the aux pox. When you purchase the luggage you have to purchase the aux pox separately
I have the exact setup but in the KTM orange version that they put out awhile back. I ride a 1290. Just wondering how you managed to strap the tank bag by going under the front seat? I have enough trouble just getting the seat on. Does it rub on the seat?
Sorry for the late response, but I actually ended up routing it over later on. Too much trouble to get the seat on and off.
Good choice in the Spyder Paramilitary 2 knife.
Thanks. Love my spyderco knives. 🤙
Where did u buy the hydration bag from?
Pretty sure I got it from Mosko
Question regarding the camouflage on your motorcycle, do you have any information on how to duplicate what you have on a different motorcycle? Website or manufacture?
Hey, thanks for watching. I bought that kit from upshift.com but I don’t know how many bikes they make it for. I hear that you can find a lot of options from companies on eBay actually. I’m sure one of them has something similar to what I’m running. Hope that helps!
What is the rear rack you are using to mount your duffle? On a separate note. If you want to get out of California for a trip, come on over to Colorado. Ill show you around
Hey man, thanks for watching, and I appreciate the offer. I’ll keep that in mind. The rack is made by outback motertek. 👍
Hei what brand of panniers rack are those in the video? Maybe the one from hepco e Becker? They looks really tight compared to the other one I see everywhere, I want to put the mosko backcountry I already have on my “new” 1090 r but all those rack looks terrible wide to me. I have the 25l and 35l and I only fear with the symmetric hepco rack they will look bad
You are correct! It’s a Hepco and Becker rack. Has worked very well for me. 👌
I’d be interested to know how heavy all that kit is, before you put anything in them?
Sorry, I actually don’t own a scale, lol. So I couldn’t tell you. If I had to guess, it’s around 30lbs for the tank bag, panniers, and duffle.
I am torn between which one would be better for 2-up Adventure riding. Either Lone Rider 38 liter bags or these from Mosko Moto. Anyone buy one over the other? Why did you choose it for 2-up riding?
I can’t tell you specifically which one is better for 2-up as my wife doesn’t have a big interest in being on the motorcycle lol, but I can tell you I’ve had a few different brands of pannier bags, and the quality of these bags is off the charts. And they’re warranty program if you damage the bag is excellent as well. Thanks for watching! And good luck in your search.
Can the duffle/backpack be installed long ways? (Inline with bike) Was thinking of doing this with the 30liter version. Thnx for the video, more like this are needed.
Yes! I actually use it solely mounted that way. I tried it sideways but because of the racks that I use on my bike, it really didn’t fit well. So I’ve been running it long ways pretty much the entire time I’ve had it, and it works great that way. Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for watching!
@@EpicAdventuresOffroad awesome. Thnx for the reply brotha. happy trails 🤙
I had custom shorter section tent poles made for $15 and saved $1,000
You say they are not cheap. Cheaper than others but nicer with lots of options.
How is the lock feature on the panniers ?
It’s decent. It’s like anything else though, if someone really wants what you have, they’ll find a way. It’s definitely a deterrent though if you use their cable as well.
Hey what bike is that?? Thank you in advance. Im very tired love the video but can’t watch fully and love those bags I want to but the 80L for my dr650 will those be too big?
Thanks for watching! It’s a 2019 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R. I would think these are a little big for a dr650. I would check out their rack less setup. 🤙
@@EpicAdventuresOffroad okay thank you for replying! It’s so rare that ytbrs actually reply. I’m going to subscribe. You’re the man.
Bonjour. Les supports de valise en acier sur la moto sont des Mosko , ktm ou touratech?
I’m sorry. I don’t understand. if you can post in English I’d be happy to help.
Hepco & Becker
Есть сравнение 25 литров и 35 литров, рядом поставить???
I only had the one size so I cant do that comparison, but you might be able to ask Mosko Moto themselves and see if they can help you.
Those bags are heavy without anything inside them. About 10-12 kgs maybe?
Yep, I’d say they’re right around there. Although, I didn’t weigh them myself, so I’m not totally sure.
why they didnt make this bag duffle in that color anymore :(
Bummer. Didn’t know they stopped.
yeah im so sad ! if you ever think about selling your old kit let me know @@EpicAdventuresOffroad
Post an update video. Ever run down into Baja ?
Never been down there. It’s on the list of trips though! 🤙
@@EpicAdventuresOffroad I can't decide to go with the Black or the Woodland like you got ? Bike is 900 Rally Pro in Khaki green .....???
Not for Covid 👍👍👍👍👍
- Mosko Moto Where are your products made? To answer your questions, we manufacture in a small number of factories in Vietnam, China, and Bangladesh..... You would think these would be cheaper than they are...
i tried to talk myself into this set up this week actually , wound up ordering tusk olympus instead , im sure not comparable fit and finish wise but the tusk bags i had before proved very durable bags/rack/attach plates ect. the whole kit is $575 USD , my best attempt at pricing this out bags/rack/attaching plates all separate comes to about $1500 ?
When I received mine, I was amazed that it was not made in the USA. This is way overpriced for overseas production.
Only Ktm 🤪
Seems like hanging weight at the very rear of a bike is a bad idea.
I think that’s what they’re designed for. No issues after a LOT of off-road miles.

No u
Two mistakes, the main bags is 30 litres, not 35, they used to be with the fixed pocket on the V1 model, the marketing is misleading at best! See specs on Mosko site. The second is you said KTM is the best bike.. Best for the work shop 😉 looks great though 👌
14,000 miles and not a single issue. So you’re wrong on that one, 😉 and the panniers are literally called 35 liter back country panniers. They’re definitely not 30 liters.
Check Mosko website specs "kit includes two 30 litre bags" as said its misleading because it is called 35l pannier kit for reasons already mentioned. My mate sells KTM, nice but well known reliability issues, he says don't thrash it or own one over 30k, bread and butter for the workshops sadly. Just enjoy it mate 👍
@@chriscalvert3476 I noticed that too when I went for my Reckless 80, the pockets are included in the capacity but not the price. I’m still a fan, but that was something that annoyed me a bit.
@@chriscalvert3476 I agree. KTMs are very highly-strung very high maintenance thoroughbreds. They offer a particular exquisite performance package much like many exotic sports cars and that always comes at a price somewhere down the line.
I believe that videos that have no pricing on equipment. ARE JUST ADS FOR THE COMPANY. Why would someone Not tell us the price they paid? Because it is an advertisement!! My opinion, my believe.
Everyone is welcome to their opinion, so no hard feelings. I didn’t state the price I paid, because prices are always changing in todays crazy economy. The prices for what you will pay if you choose to buy the gear are right on their website where you’re going to purchase it. Also- I don’t see the harm in “advertising” a good product if you truly believe it’s something worth spending your hard earned money on?
Thanks for sharing Dude, an other +1K leaving bank account 🫠
😂 oh man do I know the feeling lol. You’re going to love them!
Great review, thank you!
