I vote for an Innersense (are they worth it???) one brand wash day. If you do Curlsmith: Core Strength Shampoo, Multi-tasking Conditioner, and In-Shower Style Fixer (if this doesn't give you a cast, I'll be shocked).
I second this! I love the multi tasking conditioner but I've been very curious and kind of apprehensive about the effortless waves spray. You did a one brand wash day with a trickle rinse utilizing the multi tasking conditioner and I used that yesterday and got great results! I can't remember the shampoo you used but you used the multi tasking conditioner and trickle tensed then the styling soufle. I used a hi bar shampoo bar, trickle rinsed with the curlsmith multi tasking conditioner and used the curlsmith in shower styler fixer so not the same exact wash day but similar.😂 Always love your videos!
Also I am not super familiar with Maui moisture or shea moisture (I often get them confused lol) but would love if you did a wash day with them since they are more of a drug store/target brand :)
@@whitneylong3220 I've been using the Maui Moisture spray leave-in (pink bottle) and it's been great for the summer. Very light, but provides the frizz protection I need for the warmer months.
These one brand washdays are really cool! Have you ever considered doing one on pattern beauty? I love how much thought Tracee Ellis Ross has put into her products and I know they’re geared more towards 3b and up but I would love to see how they look on a looser curl pattern 😊. Either way, you’ve been picking some awesome brands so no matter what I’m sure the next one will be amazing too!
Hi ! Loving these one brand wash days!❤ I wonder if you would be able to do any of these brands in the future (they are available in the UK) - Imbue, Boucleme, Noughty, Bounce Curl, Shea Moisture, Flora and Curl, Curl Keeper, Giovanni, Cantu, Curls, Only Curls, Umberto Giannini, John Frieda, Lee Stafford, Camille Rose, Loreal or Pretty Curly Girl 😁
I'm at a point where I prefer to sacrifice some shine and add a minimal amount of frizz for volume! I love the substitution of a rinse out conditioner for a leave-in. Your day one volume was fantastic! ❤
After Briogeo one brand wash day, this Evolvh one is my second favourite. If briogeo is definition, this is volume. Honestly, im loving the simplicity of these wash days!
I love Evolvh products! My favorites are the Instavolume Volumizing Mousse and Wonderbalm Magic for Curls. I have the Dreamgel but find that it makes my hair look stringy. Maybe I need to learn how to make them clumpy. But I use the Denman brush curling method with the 2 aforementioned products and get great results! I have lightly highlighted 2c/3a curly hair a tad bit shorter than yours.
I really love the dream gel, volume shampoo and volume elixir. I thought the volume leave in was too heavy with my hair. Your results look awesome!! Honestly, it’s not just the gel that is helping with the volume, the shampoo and elixir work wonders too.
I am really enjoying this series. I have fine hair also, but not as much hair as you do. Would you consider doing a video when you are finished with your top five of these products? Do you ever cross product lines? Thank you.
I'd be interested to see how you style when using K18. They say apply to damp hair, leave for 4 mins and then you can add water again, but I haven't found a video of a similar textured wavy/curly using it in a routine.
I'm relatively new to your channel and I've been binging like crazy. I especially like these one-brand wash day vids and how you share how your hair looks later in the day and on day 2, but I would love to also see your take on 2nd-day hair revival products. It would be interesting to see whether or not these types of products fix any over time/overnight stretching/droopiness or frizz issues.
Well it looks a bit better than the Suave wash day. I do see the slight frizziness that you talk about but it’s not too noticeable. Your hair looked better in the morning next day. You look great in black .
This is clearly one of the best results I've ever saw from you.. That little bit of frizz is totally fine, all in one it looks amazing, even on day 2. 😍 Wow.. Greetings from germany. 🤗
I like to add the evolvh foam for even more volume and hold and either the miracle balm or finishing serum (tiny amount emusified) emusified in hands) tames frizz and adds shine. Have you ever heard of Raw Curls? Small company Great clean organic products formulated by a curly stylist and her chemist husband.
I’ve been trying your one brand washday technique with Evolvh and I like using the curl shampoo with the ultra repair masque which has a lot of protein and then the gel. The gel is gritty and I like it better when I use it and then top it with Harry’s gel to seal everything and get a cast.
I got my hair cut short last week. I’m in love with the length. I’m having trouble not having the crunch. I’m going to try this. What products to you recommend from Walmart
I love that you mentioned griddiness and how it feels in general. I get sensory overload when my hair feels too producty, so It's a reason for me, not to purchase a product 🙈 whenever I see a fellow creator refreshing dry hair with a medium to strong hold gel & I know that product makes my hair feel odd quickly... I always ask myself how they can stand the feeling 🥴 The gel gave you decent results & amazing volume though!
I think if you redo Curlsmith you should use whichever gel gives you the strongest cast since that’s one of the goals lately. I think you said you get the best cast with the soufflé?
Another great one brand wash day! I have a couple of possible other products to try: Eva-nyc and also…have you tried Harry’s sculpting gel? I’d love to see both of those line-ups :-) Also, I’ve seen you do lots of Curlsmith reviews but I don’t recall you doing a one brand wash day using the moisture line up (maybe I missed it??). I’ve tried using the curl cream and the refresh spray and would love to get your opinion of those products as well as others in the line. Thanks for always doing such a great, honest review :-)
Ok, Courtney, here's a Curlsmith wash day combo that I think will be great for your hair type: Core Strength Shampoo, Post-Wash Calming Conditioner, and the In-Shower Style Fixer. 🌞
I love your one brand wash day. Very interesting results with each. My hair is high porosity bleached, very thin, wavy/coily. Which one have you liked the best so far?
{squeal!} I'm so tempted by Elolvh, and now I have to try it! I love how your washday turned out. I would love to see you try out Hairstory as a one brand wash day, too. I know it's pricy, but if you think that you're buying shampoo and conditioner in one, it's not actually that expensive.
I agree that your hair didn't look as shiny right after washing, but I think on day 2 it def got that shine back! And that "that" frizz on day 2... Is how my hair always is like in-between washes, it's like 50/50 for me if it actually stays together in happy curls or just has flyaway frizz throughout 😂 Also.. there isn't a way to private message ya on UA-cam is there? 🤔
How about doing the fragrance free Curlsmith products for a wash day? I love their regular stuff, but I’ve been really curious about that line and I think there’s at least a shampoo, conditioner and gel. Thanks for your hard work!
The Curlsmith Shine line is quite good. It is actually unscented, though there is a slight natural chemical smell from the ingredients, but it doesn't seem to bother me. The shampoo is meh, hardly cleansing but it does give slip and shine (for my greasy scalp I use a more clarifying shampoo on my roots and Shine on my ends). The conditioner is awesome - great moisture and slip and tons of shine. The cream is okay - I haven't tried it much. The gel is gritty like the way Courtney describes the one in this video, and it's not super strong hold, but it does work decently. This line is my lifesaver right now as I am suddenly insensitive to aloe, coconut, protein and fragrance, and this literally the only line that meets all of that criteria. Overall I definitely recommend it - it is just very expensive.
I love this series and I also love the music choices, so upbeat and fun! Your hair is beautiful and the texture is amazing. I have 2c/3a hair and when i air dry it my hair looks like Diana Ross 😂 Love your videos!!
@@SwavyCurlyCourtney on that note though, when using products without heat protectant it would be helpful to have recommendations of what to use and when to apply.
I keep trying to yell through the computer stop touching your hair. You keep breaking up your curl clumps. I think this may have been one of your best one brand wash days. I have become a fan of the lighter spray conditioners too.

I think Courtney can use the Multi-Tasking Conditioner at conditioner and leave in the next wash day.
I just suggested the same 3 products!
It blows my mind how shiny and frizzless your hair looks right before a wash day.
Curlsmith one brand wash day lineup:

I would love to see an Innersense one brand wash day! Also, Miribel Naturals!!
I want see again one brand wash day with Giovani. The foam and the gel gave you nicely volume and so much high definition.
Thanks!
For curlsmith vivid tones shampoo, hydro cream soothing mask, and maybe the newest hairspray I would like to see how they do on their own.
Yes! Do another Curlsmith wash day! Core strength shampoo, multi tasking conditioner and in shower style fixer are my 3 products.
Yes yes, Curlsmith. Anything with protein and moisture together
Another great one-brand wash day! 👏🏻 I would love to see another Curlsmith-only video, but I'm fairly clueless with their product line. 🤷🏼♀

Have you done an all AG lineup? The rice protein shampoo and conditioner along with Recoil, Mousse Gel and Liquid Effects Hard hold?
I am loving the Mielle Rosemary Mint lineup right now. It would be great to see what you choose with this brand.
What about curlsmith volume line compared to this brand's volume line?
I think your hair look nice with a bit of frizz it looks like it gives you more volume 🙂
