I go a notification saying “Mark Frost” and I thought, “who the hell is this guy”. Then I remembered. Looks like a decent invention. I’m probably not serious enough to use one but I can see they would add to the “road” feel. All the best.

Good to see you back in a vlog. Hi from us 2. Watch your head on that ceiling! You will need a little bit of bubble wrap flat cap.....not much room for much else and it'll fit as you're in Yorkshire. :)

Great to see you back Mark and hope this is the start of the return of the vlogs. the rocker plate looks very interesting and sounds like a bargain for the original price. I have been thinking of the hedgehog balls after seeing a few people with them as I have been getting some discomfort and numbness that I never found before. I have been zwifting more and for longer but still surprised that I have been feeling that. Keep up the good work Bud

Hey hello Ewan, thanks for watching mate and I hope you’re keeping well. I would definitely recommend the hedgehog balls, they really do work and I’m sure could ease the discomfort that you’re experiencing.

Good bargain, I paid £149 Black Friday 2023 (before they were going bust!), I've since upgraded to a Saris MP1 Infinity Platform I got from Winstanleys in the summer for £149 (RRP is £1200!!!), and love the fore and aft on that but much prefer the side to side of my Lifeline, and the Saris is noisy/clunky as hell in comparison.... When I bought my lifeline I did these things- 1/ put gaffa tape neatly around the rough edges of the holes in the plywood to stop the balls contacting them and possibly abrading/bursting. 2/ threw away the pump and the spirit level. The level was hopelessly out, and I got a proper football pump with gauge off Amazon, and get or borrow a better quality level that is longer (600mm) 3/ level the plate after centering the turbo on it, with balls deflated- you need to usually add some weight (I used the old head of a sledge hammer) on to the opposite leg away from the flywheel- the idea being to find the natural level of it all before adding the air pressure in the balls (do this slowly to each side to keep it equal and remember to have the valve holes facing up through the top deck). Once you get used to it you can run it at 4-5psi..... There's a great Facebook page "Rocker Plates" run by Chad McNeese worth joining.... but once you get off of a rigid set up and try and go back you will hate it!!!!!! (There's a whole art to out the saddle efforts to make sure the bike leans the correct way, but not sure your low ceilings would allow this anyway??)

Hey Barry thanks so much for watching and for the great advice. That was a real bargain you got with the Saris MP1 🙌 I’m going to check out the Rocker Plate Facebook page.

Think you were lucky to get that as can’t now find it on Wiggle, I can’t say #nozwifting anymore, well I can until May when I get my swift hub one set up.
