Good review, the small "town" of North Queensferry is just as lovely and well worth a visit or cycle over the first Road Bridge to visit next time you are there. There is no such thing as the "Forth Rail or Railway Bridge" is just called the "Forth Bridge" that happens to takes trains over the Forth Estuary.
Thanks for the tour Mark. Yes, that's a cute little apartment and well situated too. I've always been fascinated by the Forth railway bridge. If human construction can look good, it's the prime example. Such a great combination of design and function. I had an encyclopedia when I was young which had photos of famous British bridges and this was my favourite. All the best.
@@jeffturner8927 thank you so much for watching Jeff, it is a wonderful piece of engineering and i love seeing the trains going across it. I love that you had an encyclopaedia of British bridges when you were young, that’s so brilliant.
It's amazing that you found accomodation at this time near Edinburgh. There is normally nothing to be found once the Festival starts. I used to live near there and had great times sailing on the Firth of Forth.
Looked amazing, cute little apartment. Do you take an eye mask with you when you go away? I don’t think I could sleep in that room with the skylights and no curtains. Great sunrise, I used to only see those when working shifts or going on holiday. 😂
@@heidijarvis777 do you know I have never thought about using an eye mask Heidi, I never really have any trouble falling asleep and I had one of those skylights open pretty wide all night when I was there. Seeing the sunrise is so beautiful and epic 🤗🙌 set your alarm one morning for extremely early 🤣😆😉
