We have a release date for The Old World!! And I feel way behind now with my army tutorials! This one is slightly special as I'm not expecting many of you to have these Citizens of the Empire duelist models to have to paint along with me but I will be doing more Empire models very soon! Maybe even a Marienburg landship soon? Expect much more content for The Old World very soon, and make sure you're subscribed so you don't miss out!

Picked up a Beastman starter set instead of dusting off my Goblins or Dark Elves. Wanted to do something fresh but also an army that I can easily pick up models for.
That really great to hear. I will be doing some beastmen myself.
I am excited for the Old World. I never played fantasy but i want to make an Empire army as soon as it comes out. Hopefully finding the models won't be too terrible.
The models will be re-released! Just hang on for them if empire is what you want to play. Tomb kings and bretonnians are just the first two armies to launch. And you’ll have rules for empire from the start as well

The Warhammer Online Collectors Edition came with a really cool Orc and Goblin model that I haven't seen many people paint up, probably because they have no rules, Grumlok & Gazbag
I have him and that’s a great choice for my ork model.
I have him as well. I really liked the orcs from the WH Quest pack as well. The goblin with the lantern is great and needs to be my general, the lantern emanating WAAAGH energy that keeps the orcs in line.
the one with the pistols could easily be a merc captain in Mordheim

Honestly if there’s one thing that most excited for it’s be able to use Bretonnian models for conversion on a widespread scale. Dave Taylor’s Genswick Rifles Imperial Guard has been a dream of mine to convert myself, and so with the old models returning, I can crack on and finish the army without fear of having to spend over $100 for a box of Men at Arms.

I used to play Fantasy back in the day. I still have some of my orcs and goblins and chaos warriors. I really hope they get a good ruleset and I will want get back into it

Great job as always! I like the longer, talky videos, keep them coming. I also enjoyed the personal history you provided for the models, it brings back memories of certain models I have that I have forgotten about over the last 40 years. Going through my boxes for skeletons for Tomb Kings, I found a bunch from Grenadier, Citadel pre-WHFB, and early WHFB timeframe. Some have the bases molded in and some have the old hexagon bases. They wouldn't fit in with my TKs and my VCs are zombie based so they stay in the box for now.

It will be awesome to see the different state color themes get some screen time here ... hopefully Solland is included in that list, I know it isn't really around (unless something is going on in Sudenland since it is on the map.), but will be such a nice scheme. SOLLAND ETERNAL!!!
Incase you were not aware this new setting is set way before the end times. So before the fall of solland so yes indeed I think I can deliver you a soland Guide for sure.

I will be buying in to old world, so keen tosupport it. I have loads, but will be filling gaps in my collection, buying all the starter sets and books and making a wood elf and orc and goblin army

I'll have to buy some of the new miniatures as I gave my old armies away when the Old World ended! That said, I'm really looking forward to Bretonnians, I never felt that I could do a decent job on things like Grail Knights or the Green Knight, but starting to think I can sneak up on them now if I take my time! Another great video, please keep the Old World coming!

I'll be getting wood elves this time around though! High elves will be done soon, skaven aren't part of the starter armies so will take longer to get around to them! And yes the lady and unicorn models are just stunning

Sadly as of yesterdays Lore article they mentioned that the Luminark and Hurricanum aren't going to feature in the Empire list due to them not being invented yet, on the other hand feel free to include as many Steam Tanks as you want as they are no longer relics and pretty much in mass production.

Empire is on the way back to shelves, I really hope these guys will be there too! Seems like they should be based on everything back for Bretonnia!
I was playing on getting a whole new army but then I saw the US prices and decided to make it a slow roll or just getting the special units from GW and using historicals for the line. Though I will say the Arcane Journals are a good price point and what the codexes should be.

would love to see you do the Dwarf Slayer King if you have him to do......he was a cool model with a dragon cape and huge orange hair and a massive axe......Eltharion for the High Elves would be cool to see as well.......great video amazing models

Edit: I am TOTALLY buying a new army for this! I can't wait to put together an orc army and see how everything compares to my very first stab at an army! XD
It's not going to be a contest mind you, but I remember there was a challenge awhile ago about redoing your old army. This will be the perfect opportunity to get in on that, if anything for my own enjoyment!
