Chris’s demeanor is striking. His face is “set” hard and petulant at the same time. I see this look in young children who are in abusive and neglectful situations. I don’t know what to make of it.
I agree that a certain amount of annoyance, anger and jealousy comes into this plus he wanted to get back at Corys mum who had settled down nicely thank you.

He already knows, he has to take responsibility for the number of times in the past that he bailed his son out of bad situations, by his position as a State Trooper.
I'm so angry with Christopher's parents... They knew what a problem their kid was, his temper, that he's a whiny baby who needs his way, that he was a lazy uninvolved father, and they still supported him in getting full custody. Probably just to save face like all this nonsense. You're grandson deserved so much more. How dare you let Chris take him out of your home and hours away and how dare you defend him now. OH. The state would rather give the child to a stranger than give the child free heath care.
And of course they would never have hoped Christopher had 'turned a corner in life' 'was now adult enough to be a decent Father' 'realised where his responsibilities lay' course not, they would just judge him as guilty - give up will you he is their son and Cory their Grandson they will be trying their hardest not to totally fall apart.

He called because he needed the insurance card but refused to say what hospital then he blocked the mom. She filed a missing persons report trying to find his location. He hated the mom so much that he let his son die alone rather than let the mother be with her son.
Here in middle GA, a FBI agent's son shot 2 Mercer University students who were parked at a lake. The son confessed to his father who turned him in....the father testified against his son, and the son was executed.

I agree that a certain amount of annoyance, anger and jealousy comes into this plus he wanted to get back at Corys mum who had settled down nicely thank you.
He says he doesn’t want to see his grandson suffering on the machine, but I think it’s more to do with him not wanting to see his son as a murderer and an evil person?
He already knows, he has to take responsibility for the number of times in the past that he bailed his son out of bad situations, by his position as a State Trooper.
I'm so angry with Christopher's parents... They knew what a problem their kid was, his temper, that he's a whiny baby who needs his way, that he was a lazy uninvolved father, and they still supported him in getting full custody. Probably just to save face like all this nonsense.
You're grandson deserved so much more. How dare you let Chris take him out of your home and hours away and how dare you defend him now. OH. And how dare you refuse to watch the video!?
Corey deserved so much better. How does a child whos lived in a loving home for 5 years get yanked out and sent to live with strangers!?! Money.

R.I.P. Corey, beyond 💔heartbreaking. 😔
From Europe
I had the same thoughts, he was drying his dry eyes!
If Chris's parent's had stepped in for corey, they could have saved his life
Grown kids putting their parents through this! This is Awlful! He would still be alive if he was with his Mother!
If he was with the grandparents. The mom is sadly a drug addict and kept relapsing throughout her son's life. The grandparents home was the most stable.
Sad that this child was safer with a drug addict because she obviously was functional enough to keep him healthy and alive. Just because she used drugs, it doesn't automatically make her unfit. @@berlingolingoful
You have to wonder was Christopher raised by a very strict father and is this why he was raising his own son in the same manner
There’s a difference between strict and abusive. But I agree there must’ve been something really wrong in that family to have created such a monster.
Christopher appears to be a sadistic, controlling, manipulative, apathetic, cold, and callous person. I can’t say where it came from but sometimes it’s not the parents their kids are just evil.
I’d like to know how they live with what happened? Just horrible!!
What did this guy do to make his son torture his child to death????
