Good job on wrapping it Mate, I did mine as well but because my original start stop isn't the same as yours. The outer bottom is slightly visible which doesn't look good. I decided to just plastidip mine with matte black as I was wrapping it with matte black anyway. So mine is matte black outer ring with red start stop button.
Watched your video and now have the confidence to do it for my convertible. Just ordered a used start stop switch from eBay for £10. I'll wrap that and add my red cover (from Aliexpress.com) then if I haven't messed the dismantling and wrapping process up I'll swap them over. And advertise the old one on eBay !!
you should order a new bezel and rattle can it black then wrap it that way you don't need to inlay the inside as it will be black and you'll never see if it has a pattern on it or not
I managed to get off only the outer ring first, and then the inner part what you take the button to replace off of... The chinese PoS had a tad smaller clips, so had to play around with it, but managed to do it in like 5mins... red button looks awsome :)
Live the video, car and channel but the contrast seems to be super high and the footage seems blurry! Not sure why but I thought you should know anyway

Hiya mate, quick question need a bit of advice!? I’ve wrapped my bezel the carbon fibre like you, but when I put it back onto the start stop button it just pushes off it. It’s like the bezel hasn’t fully clicked in but there’s no wrap on the inside and it seems fully pushed in?!?! Need help thanks pal
@@CARLISONIT yeah the bottom left one snapped off when taking it out, but I thought it would just effect that corner not the whole bezel as the other 3 are in tack☹️
I never liked altered emblem colors & the blue & white is the state flag of Bavaria where I'm from & where the car is manufactured. I either delete badges, or keep original/functional appearance ie: real carbon fiber if needed. Blacked out badges are OK on some vehicles like Audi's or Mercedes & in Germany you'll see many that remove the Audi emblem from the trunk lid giving it more of a smoothe unobstructed sleeper appearance. If I add a diffuser or body panels to my red E82 they will be gloss black to match the factory gloss on the side pillars & mirrors to give it more contrast. The red start stop with the chrome deleted does look more interesting though & this is a good tutorial for disassembly.

I kinda like the original button, I guess it's a matter of taste but I like how you learn about your car by getting involved, it's inspiring

I’ve wrapped my aluminium bits on the dashboard in carbon blue the handle black.btw mine is white next job I’ll do is the caliper (blue)
