The HID’s are 5x better than the standard halogen bulbs, it has better night visibility and they look sweet, you would see the different straight away, when you replace your normal halogen bulbs headlights but only get them when you have projectors (the angel eye headlights), otherwise if you use the standard headlights with hid’s (which are reflectors) it will dazzle everyone on the road because of how bright they are.
I have an e82 135i, love the one series.
Those lights are groovy, I gotta get some! I have a few more things to do to mine before I make a video about it. Question though, is your idrive unit mounted? Or does is fold down?

Where did you get that diffuser for the car because my car comes with two one sided exhausts and I'm trying to get the Quad on it but my bumper doesn't allow that.

Can I ask, how does it affect your insurance because I’m a newbie at this and just wondering the knock on effect? Or what do you have to declare?
You’re meant to declare anything you change but people rarely bother. I would definitely declare the change of headlights, the addition of the head unit and the exhaust. Wheels I’d declare only if they were non-bmw. However, anything you change, even cosmetically could see your insurer lower the cost they’ll pay you if you make a claim. And remember, if you are in a bump the other insurer will be looking for anything on your car that isn’t standard and could have in some way contributed. It’s all about the risks you’re willing to take - with 20 years of highly modded cars in my history I’m not too worried, but if you’re new just be careful.

I`ve got "Rear Direction indicator slightly discolored Both sides (4.4.3 (a)) " for my MOT because of LED`s from the turning signal.. Not a big deal, but it is an "advisory"
I think best thing will be to return them back to standard indicator bulbs

If you buy the 1M style that fits the E82/E88 then yes.
If you just buy stock 1M bumpers, they will fit but just not perfect and will need to be retrofitted, they are too wide as you say.

Dra Gon I’m not to sure about that, personally I think you would have to open up the actual light and add the halo rings to them which will mean you will need to reroute your side lights to be the halo rings

Did you put the original servomotors from your headlights into the new ones with A.e's?
No I just sold my original headlights with the servomotor included, my headlights work just fine there's no need to adjust them.

No problem, I think it’s quite simple swapping the motor around into the new headlights
