Yes he does ! Id pay just about anything he asked, to do my interior.... But 3000 miles is just a bit too far for me. Even in my Prius, that would $600 in gas....
I started watching your videos because I wanted to know how to apply a small bit of wrap to a specific area. Now, I keep coming back to watch a master at work...and to listen to a great teacher.
Been helping my husband's wrap the interior of our vehicles for the past 3+ yrs. They only reason & time we redo it, is when we want a change up the look. We are working teaching our daughter so she can do her own look in her vehicle in the next couple of years. **Chris, Doing amazing work as always, on doing your trait as well as teaching it, keep it up!
Man doing work for free is unheard of, you really seem to be a super cool guy. Know the vid is old but still super useful information. Just recently wrapped my hood, took like 4 hours but I really took my time to make sure it was done right and was my first time wrapping anything. You are fuckin awesome dude. Keep up all the good work.
Amazing. I am about to wrap console and dash trim panels in my Volvo XC90 and I was worried about the fussy panels that aren't removable. This showed me everything I need to know, step-by-step.
Great video, you made it look so easy. Well it's definitely easier then the pre-cut and not having to line up the holes and edges. Good job. I will be ordering today.
You make it look easy. I did my W212 E400 center console and like you I did each lid separately. I used the same gloss fiber interior wrap but removed the side trim piece of the center console. This allowed me to have better access side of lid trim. My biggest issue was trying to get the side edges to stick.
This tutorial was fantastic! Unfortunately, it made me a little over confident in my ability because you made it look so easy…not perfect, but I know I did MUCH better at installing my vinyl all thanks to you. Seriously, great technique. Thanks for sharing!
i disagree heavily... it makes it look cheap to anyone who knows what real carbon pieces look like not to mention how overdone this whole carbon wraps have become its actually more unique not to have one
@@e36fanatics i tend to agree with you. I have an infiniti g37 and its like everyone and their mother wraps the interior in carbon vinyl.. i hate the brushed aluminium in my interior but i dont want the carbon wrap either. Think i may just drop a few hunded $ and go with the wood grain conversion
Quick tip. If you can remove the pieces applying the vinyl to I highly recommend. The faces of that area with proper tools take a bout 10 mins to remove and save a whole lot of worry about cutting vehicle or vinyl wrong.
As the owner of a Model 3 that did this wrap recently, a word of warning. The piano black is itself a wrap of sorts. Use caution when removing the wrap. I had just about completed the cupholder portion when i was a little too careless with the knife and had to start over. So i give the wrap (unheated) a good yank to start over because im a moron. It took the wrap off, right along with the piano black below it and i was left with the ABS. If i ever unwrap ill need to replace this piece from ebay now.
I wonder how much practice this guy has has . You can tell he does this alot all the tools techniques everything is just makes it look easy and quick as he applied with steady hands
"This is the part that makes people nervous." You got that right! The thought of having to drag that blade straight along that edge would freak me out.
This is the exact video I needed to see. I've been watching your videos for a couple of months now. I want to get into the wrapping business and I started my first project with my own interior in carbon and it was very difficult to use probably not the best first material to use or the fact it was labeled as 3m which it wasnt, and the material wasn't the best. But the second job I did was on my friends BMW 3 series and it came out wonderful. But I did find wrapping the corners difficult but now I see where I went wrong thanks bro love the videos and love the work, I hope to get on that level one day big ups 👍
Snap on makes a really good light that hooks across the headliner for more light inside. Its even cordless/rechargeable. I use mine for more under hood apps but for you it would really light up those dark areas.
Laid this wrap down on the scoop of my WRX (2 WRX so far), and its holding up fine, 1 year so far. Had no idea its interior only. The adhesive on this wrap was super strong, made it tough to manage
Looks clean, but the three panels don't quite match up exactly. The second panel is very slightly rotated counterclockwise and it doesn't look like one continuous piece. The second and last panel match up quite well, but you can clearly tell the difference in the first and second.
I have been using a salon quality hair drier for doing vynal. It gets it hot enough to stretch and you will never over heat it. I happened to get one in a parts car I bought and I use it on stuff like that and if I gotta break out the heat gun then I do. Great work.
so aver doing my fromt grill and mirriors and now going for the big boy. which is wrapping a car. glad you still habe this up. going to redo the inside. makes things so simple. buy thanks again. great stuff.
I really like your videos. I am happy that this vinyl stuff is not destructive on your surface if you fail. It's not like glue and it's cheap too. I am going to start practicing on small surfaces on my car. I got an old Honda Civic I will not sell and will be driving it into the ground.
Great vid's. I was doing something like that in 1997 in my car.....101% of people said i was crazy, using an hair dryer for a heat gun......Now i know i was right...., never to late to start again!
I have tried this in my car, and removed it after 3 months. Reason, i usually park my vehicle in 🌞 and when interior gets heated and some dust gets in the edges these sticker films edges gets out of the body where its applied and will looks very bad. Then after a lot of consulation from auto experts i tried hydrographics in my dashboard and now its comparable to ferrari interior. Go for carbon fibre design in hydrographics water dipping. All those approved providers are offering life time guarantee. It will cost as like this square inch /$ . Hope this may help you car lovers. Any way the wrapping seen this video is of extreme quality. Great job♥️
Great work! What brand would you recommend for a gloss black roof wrap and what do you recommend for UV protection? What other measures do you recommend for longevity/finish preservation?
are there any wooden style vinyl wrap that you have done for the car interior trimmings? i know the wooden design element is a little outdated, but i think it is still classy.
Looks good dude. But personally I would have tried to do it in 1 piece. When you use many cut pieces you can get the pattern going in the same direction but you can't get a uniform pattern alignment that matches perfectly between each section of console.
Just discovered this channel. Im already a huge fan. Was looking for some inspiration and guidance. I’m starting my first wrap project ever. I want to wrap my Fiat Panda (sport) in glossy red vinyl. Just ordered everything and will see how it goes. Man you’re channeling is useful and nice to watch 😊
Hope you see this. See the chrome silver part on the sides of the console that you were just cleaning. How would you restore if they have missing color from being scratched up. Thank you.
Nice work, I hope you don't mind me making a suggestion but can you add a little more light, maybe investing in a LED that you can strap on your head or safety glasses with LED
The exact video I was looking for. I have a 2020 F150 Lariat with black leather and they put silver trim around the vents, head unit, center column and on the wheel and doors. I was about to order some super expensive replacement parts but I'm sorry on wrapping now.
Awesome skills, not sure if it is just the camera angle but it looks as though the first two panels are slightly out of alignment. I have seen enough here to know that I need a professional like yourself to do my work.

Ck wraps i was nervous doing my own wraps to my genesis but thanks to your videos i gain alot of confidence thanks bro amazing wraps you do.!
I want to use gloss woodgrain pvc wrap on my gen 4 Mitsubishi Pajero console, is using a heat gun necessary or just plastic spreader?
Just needs the fro!Great work
