A Peugeot f**king 508 that is. Would rather have a Lada Riva there.
It's an unfortunate reality here in Turkey. You have to pay TRY 318.000 for a base model manual 1.2 puretech 2008 with a national minimum wage of just TRY 2324.70, also consider that 41 percent of the people living in Turkey earns this minimum wage.

Fun fact about Malaysia's duty taxes:
Many supercar owners avoid their import duty taxes by registering the supercars in tax-free islands, similar to registering your car to some states in the US. The dealership will handle bringing the car to the mainland.
There are of course some caveats such as you are only allowed to drive the car on the mainland for 90 days max, no longer than 30 days per visit.
But get this, you don't drive the supercar everyday and you don't need it to be on your driveway the whole year. Often supercar owners own dozens of duty-free cars and they rotate it every month. This is actually a clever move as you can own more supercars and you don't have to spend as much.
Picture this: You can afford 3 duty-paid supercars in Malaysia, but instead of doing just that, you can buy 6 supercars, register them in the duty free islands and you can rotate the cars you wanna have at a period of time of the year.
Sadly only the filthy rich do it, but it's rather an intriguing trivia nonetheless.
As a Malaysian, I feel your pain when you mentioned the filthy rich lol
the rich always has ways to get around the law

Denmark and the netherlands are one of the worst. Here in NL we pay 110k euros for a new 370z... in france it goes for 33k
I think the 911 Turbos S should've been mentioned. While it costs from 155.000 pounds in GB, we in Denmark have prices starting from 500.000 pounds. Now, that is a true scam :(
Finland too
Watching this from Finland and thinking about how cheap it is over seas, here rs6 starts from 258 000 euros
That's amazing! Thank you for hosting this video. It has somewhat caught my attention that there is a reverse-effect on the UK. For example, the Japan-built 2020 Toyota Corolla Ascent Sport Manual Hatchback (base model) costs here in Australia, AUD$27,065 (GBP£14,909) whilst the UK-built base model Icon Hybrid costs in the UK, AUD$44,455 (GBP£24,480). Is there any particular reason why the Corolla is so expensive in the United Kingdom? I would've expected perhaps a few thousand dollars difference but not $17,000.
