- Mat’s visited the Petersen Car Museum in LA, and he’s going to build his dream car garage!
There is a crazy amount of cars at this museum, with the total value of all cars on show going north of one BILLION dollars! But with so many cars on show, which will he choose to add to his garage?
Well he’s going to look through a whole host of different types of cars, from Tesla Cybertruck & Roadster prototypes, through to cars owned by celebrities such as Steve McQueen and Slash from Guns ’n’ Roses!
But that’s not all! It wouldn’t be a car museum without some classic, ultra-rare & ultra-expensive classic cars!

I live in LA and I love going to the Peterson museum at least every few months because they rotate cars out of the garages onto the viewing floors and have new exhibits. The last time I went they had a Ferrari tribute exhibit with every Ferrari in that last room (and more) on display, it almost brought me to tears seeing these cars in person 😆

I got the chance to visit this car museum about a year ago and let me tell you, it was the experience of a lifetime! What a collection of cars they have!
How much cars you bought?
I took my nephews to Disneyland and I made sure to make this a stop as I've been 4 times and it's my version of Disneyland! It really is surreal walking through and seeing so many famous and priceless cars. Always new exhibits and everything is immaculate. It's also very affordable at 15 bucks a person, and the vault is a no-brainer at 25 bucks. A must for anyone who loves cars and can make the trip to LA. The highlight of all my trips was the 1939 Bugatti Atlantic in light blue. It caught my eye and I was checking it out, I found out years later I was looking at one of the most expensive cars in the world, worth $60M!

I went to the Petersen two years ago and spent 5hrs and still couldn't see everything. My best friend bought the tickets as a gift and we did the general admission, the Vault and inside the Vault instead of the Ferrari they had a Porsche endurance Racing cars exhibition like the 956 and 962 in Rothmans, Copenhagen and Leyton House among others, UNREAL!!!

I does not surprise me that the Cybertruck is the title shot of this video. It will of course be the most valuable car in that collection in 20 years time. The car that broke the legacy car industry.

This is a very impressive collection. Only two Ferrari 125 have ever been made. This is truly a museum exhibit.

What an awesome collection. I would have liked for Mat to "buy" the fastest car, and the most dangerous car in the collection as well.
Fastest would've been their Koenigsegg Agera (used in the Need For Speed Movie). Most dangerous would probably be a high speed race car with no safety features and a ton of power

I recognised Eleanor right away! :) Hruscev's and Hussein's cars are both really nice looking and also the one at 10:00. But as a collectible I think Kit would be my choice if I had the money. I watched Knight Rider as a child a lot.

Love this place, I was there last month and a couple years ago. It's incredible! I didn't love their current lineup but last time, name any 90s super/hyper car and they had it. I was a kid in a candy shop.

went to see the Tar Pits in LA in 2019, and this museum was right across the road. So I went in there as well and it was the best surprise visit I ever did. Absolutely jaw dropping stuff inside. Brilliant video
