Can you pls tell how to turn on sound while using the “Find my phone” feature of Galaxy Fit 2 with the iPhone? The phone just vibrates when I use the Find my phone feature on my band, when it’s supposed to make a loud sound.
As long as you're hooked up to your phone it will track you pretty well. You would have to jump to a way more expensive fitness tracker if you needed something even more accurate than your phones
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I can't remember the ones that are listed on the fit 2. Don't use other workout tho. I would say weights or just cardio. It will never really know how much weight you life so don't put to much stock into the total calories burned
I cannot set it up. I am stuck at the congrats screen. It ask me to allow access to location. I select allow, it will go to settings, i select that and it ask me to agree. I agree and it just repeats the allow to access location again. Keeps repeating this cycle, am i doing something wrong
I am not to sure to be honest. It's probably a good idea to get in contact with their customer service because it's actually really good. Sorry I couldn't help more
I'm thinking about getting this for my girlfriend. She has an iphone, but this is right in a great price and it allows us to compare steps and "compete". My questions are: is there any apparent weakness for iphone users with this? && Can you play or control music from the device? essentially how comparable is it to an Active 2 as far as functionality goes? if you could help thanks so much if you cant no biggie!! Have a great day man
They function very similar to the Samsung Active 2. The Galaxy Fit 2 can work on IOS but from what I hear it's that some functionality is limited. The quick replies don't work, the app takes longer to update on Apple, I hear pairing isn't as simple as Android, and it can sometimes lose Bluetooth connectivity if you get to far from the device. Other than that the health metrics should work fine. Hopefully that helps
I can't say this would be your best option. I would go with a Garmin device, but they are going to be a bit more expensive. The Forerunner 235 is a good place to start and I have a review on my channel
Great review! Which setting do you use to see the map in Samsung Health? I can't see it even running with my phone connected to the band. Thank you in advance!
You do need to make the phone GPS available and have your phone on you. But it should be right under your exercises in the Samsung Health App. Then select the run and it should be there
Relatively tight. You shouldn't be losing blood flow and should be able to at least slip one finger underneath. But if it is too loose the heart rate readings will be worse
I'm not entirely sure. There is a secondary market, but I couldn't find anything definitive. Use the samsung support. They will most likely guide you in the right direction
I watched your video but I dont get that whether it is suitable for sports. Because i cant afford other ones. Im asking that for strength exercising. Thank you🤎
What exactly are you looking to get out of it? I'm not a big fan of the heart rate monitoring on it. I would recommend the Amazfit Band 5 or the Mi Band 5 for more accurate readings
@@FitnessWithFrost I am doing strength workouts and wondering my calorie burning actually i am sure it is not accurate but closely answers Would be great btw i am already using samsung fit2 but thanks a lot man 🤠
Yeah it's extremely tough to get an accurate readout during a strength based workout. The band will never know if you have a 5 pound weight or a 50 pound weight in your hands. So don't focus to much on that. But good luck with your fitness journey!
@@FitnessWithFrost When I go to settings on the band its sends me to the "Galaxy Wearable" app on my phone where do I go from there to turn off bluetooth on the device - thank you!
Cool review... question why does my fit 2 only track 20 minute workouts when I have it set for a hour workout ... it shutdowns right at 20 minutes... of any can help me with this I would appreciate it
That is really weird. I don't think I know if I can help you with that. It's definitely not the way it should function. I would definitely try and contact samsung customer service. You can use the chat function and they are very quick with their response
I haven't heard any plans on them coming out with a fit 3. I think they have been focusing on their Galaxy Watch brand so I wouldn't hold my breath for a fit 3
It looks too cheap. Previous galaxy gear series had far better quality and their designs were also extraordinary. It seems like they dropped the quality; bad screen and body. I think that device looks contract manufacturing in China, not Samsung made.
Love the energy and a great review vid. Thumbs up and a new sub
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed
It would be cool if you make a video or at least comment if the software updates make it better or worse in terms of precision and functionality
Maybe one day when I can make this a full time gig. That's my goal, but as for right now with a full time job there ain't be any way to do that
Can you pls tell how to turn on sound while using the “Find my phone” feature of Galaxy Fit 2 with the iPhone?
The phone just vibrates when I use the Find my phone feature on my band, when it’s supposed to make a loud sound.
Sadly I don't think I can help you with that. I don't own an IPhone. Samsung support should be able to help tho. They are very helpful and quick
@@FitnessWithFrost Thanks for the reply nonetheless 😊☺️
Sorry I couldn't help more but good luck
Does it show running pace without carrying the phone?
You will need to have your phone on you
Thanks so much. How do you stop a workout though?
You're welcome! I'm pretty sure you just need to do a long press on the screen to end the workout
Btw do you know when the fit 3 will be released?
How about the running distance VS a GPS powered one? Is it accurate?
As long as you're hooked up to your phone it will track you pretty well. You would have to jump to a way more expensive fitness tracker if you needed something even more accurate than your phones
Anyone figured out how to use the timer or stopwatch while a workout ist on? As soon as I leave the workout mode the workout ends.
I believe you can't do both at the same time but I might be mistaken
@@FitnessWithFrost Thanks for the fast answear. But the fact realy sucks.
Yeah I know what you mean, but I'm glad I can help

Does anyone have the chance to check if this watch can count your laps and meters when you are swimming? Thxs
If you count your laps when you set it to a certain meter point. I hope that is helpful
@@FitnessWithFrost Thank you 💜

Nice review. I actually tried several fit bits but may have to try this one.

Does it work other android phones??
Yeah I believe any android phone with 6.0 or higher
Does the red strap get dirty easily
Didn't really get dirty at all when I tested it. Even if it does you can was it no problem
@@FitnessWithFrost thanks a lot
No problem. I'm glad I could help
One thing I would like to know is. In order for the watch to get a accurate heart rate or something, does the watch have to be tight on the wrist ?
Relatively tight. You shouldn't be losing blood flow and should be able to at least slip one finger underneath. But if it is too loose the heart rate readings will be worse
@@FitnessWithFrost that's cool also is it possible to shower with it compared to the first galaxy fit ?
Yeah you can shower with it. Turning in water mode. I always take mine if, but you definitely can
@@FitnessWithFrost wow that's great thank you so much.
No problem! Glad I could help
What is the wrist size of this watch?
Wrist sizes from 6.1 and 8.2 inches. Also available in smaller if needed

How do you get the smaller one

Can it track rock climbing? I've heard some of Samsung's devices do, and I'm looking forward to it.
I know my Galaxy Watch 3 does, but I'm not 100% on the Fit 2. I will probably have to pull it out to check it

Can Bluetooth be turned off on the fit 2?
Yes you can through settings
@@FitnessWithFrost settings icon on the band sends me to Wear app on the phone - then what?
Sorry that's my fault. Yes you do need to turn it off through your phone. Nothing on the band it self

I am going back and forth with this one and the Huawei Band 4 pro. Don't know which one to get.
I haven't tested the Huawei yet, but I'll put it on the list
Does it give you real time alert on unusual change in heart rate?
I will have to get back to you on that
Do we need a screen protector for fit2?
It doesn't have the best durability so if you are looking for longevity then yes you might need to look into one
