I still havent seen a brown one yet.. but our Wild animal park has one they domesticated and they use for educational shows. Ill be going there next month. Cant wait to see in person. Beautiful ❤
I just started skunk feeding a few weeks ago. Now they wait for me at sunset. They’re so sweet and trusting. There’s about 10, moms and kits. The kits love to sit on my feet and get head scratches. Such amazing animals and so vilified for no reason.
@@silvermainecoons3269 Awww. I'm so happy for you! They bring me such joy! They really have gotten a bad rap. I understand why they need to protect themselves. No other defenses and very curious and docile. Very sweet experience when you're lucky enough to gain their trust. Just beautiful. You should film and post them! ❤❤❤ I'd love to see them!

Tonight one of the kits got his head stuck in a bag of peanuts but didn’t panic, he just waited for me to slide the bag off him. Amazing animals. They really have a calming and peaceful effect on me, sounds like they do the same for you too. My mother has practically disowned me when she heard about the skunks. She hates animals and is convinced I’m either going to get rabies or my landlord is going to evict me. She doesn’t even know him, and the fact that skunks have lived under my house for decades and have never bothered anyone, including my landlord escapes her. I’m really glad she lives in Kansas and I’m in Northern California! Sorry to go on and on about my life story, but I’m still upset; your kind words were greatly appreciated. It’s very nice to meet a fellow skunk enthusiast, I was starting to think I was alone. I’ll message you once I’ve uploaded some video. 🦨💜😊🦨
@@silvermainecoons3269 I'm originally from Southern Cali! My daughter and her family are Still there. Just got back from visiting a few weeks ago. I so miss Cali. I hear ya. I've always been the oddball of the family and always had animals. They all aren't animal people and I get alot of flack got it as well. I have PTSD and Anxiety and animals calm my soul. I prefer them to people most days 😉 I hear ya 💯 You keep doing You! You only get one life so enjoy it and everyone else can... not like it. LOL Really is their loss. It's a very special thing when animals bond with humans... they do for a reason. I believe they make us better humans. I'm a rescue kitty Mama too. That will never change. ❤❤❤ I'll subscribe to ya so I don't miss your uploads.
