I loved 3rd Secret that much that I felt like translating their Wikipedia article into Spanish so this language speakers could learn about the band and the 1st album. It was a way to thank them for reviving good music on these days and making me remember how good it was where I come from in the musical timeline. Btw, really nice Novoselic’s recycling! The whole band is just magic! 🔥💚 ¡Larga vida a 3rd Secret!

I so agree. I went to my local record store Shake It Records today and asked for it not realizing that it was only being released digitally for now I guess...I hope they have vinyl, CDs..hell tapes everything... it's fantastic

These vocals are SO good! It’s way harder to pull off doubled vocals like this live than they make it seem.
Sounds like a John Fahey tune but then the singing kicks in and it becomes even more awesome! Totally loving everything from 3rd Secret!

I love those spicy guitar chords (00:23). It's the ultimate proof there is no such thing as 'wrong notes', as long as you play without hesitation. Very cool! I was convinced it was played on a 12-string, but I guess there is some kind of doubling going on. Very powerful sound. Reminds me somewhat of Beck playing live solo acoustic guitar.

@@3rdsecret O yes, I was already convinced it was a live performance, but I meant 'doubling' in the sense of a short delay/chorus/panning/Whatnot-de-Luxe effect to create that 12-string sound. The sound is amazing.

When I listen to the album God, Time And Causality (1989) I sometimes hear the melodies of Nirvana's songs ...
0:20 love the dissonance! I made up something similar some years ago, didn't make a full song of it cos I'm not a songwriter, never been in a band or played with other musicians... but I had a progression, and although I loved the sound of it I remember thinking something along the lines of no proper musician would play this, nobody else would like it, it sounds so 'unmusical' . but I liked it having that one note just spike out of place for a moment, and here Krist is playing something very similar, so it's really cool to see someone actually do it. I kinda feel vindicated lol. It conjures a sense of something working but it's broken, like a wagon wheel rolling round, but there's a huge flat spot interrupting the smooth rhythm of the wheel rolling over the ground and jarring the wagon once in a while.
