Many of us share your distrust. I grew up in the Catholic church and knew many incredible people of faith.. Father Flanagan. But even at a young age in the early 1960's I saw a disconnect between the faithful and the upper level of the church. Many seemed to be the priests that Jesus called a brood of vipers.

I was baptised on the 25th December 1962 as a baby 3 weeks after I was born . The church has been a large part of my life and I attended a Catholic boys school where I was prepared to meet the world . I married a Catholic girl from far away and we have been married for 34 years and have 4 children . My wife is far more devout than I , but I study history as a hobby and my favourite studies are of the ancient world . I was in catholic school in the 60s when it was supposed to be revealed. When it didn't happen, I felt that it had to be something detrimental to the church itself. When all of the sexual acts done by priests started to be revealed, I knew that was likely the third secret because it was going to slowly eat away the church itself. So much harm has been done to many by mainly gay priests who hid away in their positions and took advantage of their power. IF priests are finally allowed to marry, the church might be saved. Otherwise it has lost millions of members since the 60s. None of my childhood catholic friends are still practicing. Pope Benedict resigned because of the things he knew. Popes die in office, they don't resign.

God is unchanging, and Mary isn't God. She made mistakes and needed a savior, or do you think she was lying in Luke 1:46-47? Mary was no more righteous on her own than you or me. Had she not taken Jesus as her Lord, she would've gone right to Hell. The Gospels are quite clear that she and her other children (yes, she stopped being a virgin after Jesus was born) thought Jesus was crazy at the beginning of His ministry and didn't really believe He was the incarnate God until His resurrection.

I don’t know what the third secret was, but do observe what material changes are taking place in the church. It’s worth noting that most divine judgements on man kind in the Bible flow from humans concluding that God had made a mistake, the judgement of Adam and Eve, of the preference of Abel over Cane, Jesus and Barabbas, elevation of the Christian west. I was raised in a very sm town and 98% of the people were Catholics. So many of them were bad drunks all week but thought when they went to church and took the water (communion) that it was ok. I was raised Methodist and very few in my church drank. I never understood the worshipping Mother Mary and praying to her. To me that was idol worshipping. I don't think this video is accurate. I heard an interview with father Malachi Martin who said he also read the third secret. He could not say what was in it. What he did say is that it mentions a catastrophe so great that despite your worst imagining, it would be worst than that, is how he worded it. That does not sound like the catholic church losing its way. It sounds like something on the planet happening.

My best friend was raped repeatedly by a priest in California back in the 60's from the time he was 7 until he was 14. My wife is far more devout than I , but I study history as a hobby and my favourite studies are of the ancient world .

I was in catholic school in the 60s when it was supposed to be revealed. When it didn't happen, I felt that it had to be something detrimental to the church itself. When all of the sexual acts done by priests started to be revealed, I knew that was likely the third secret because it was going to slowly eat away the church itself. So much harm has been done to many by mainly gay priests who hid away in their positions and took advantage of their power. IF priests are finally allowed to marry, the church might be saved. Otherwise it has lost millions of members since the 60s. None of my childhood catholic friends are still practicing. Pope Benedict resigned because of the things he knew. Popes die in office, they don't resign.

God is unchanging, and Mary isn't God. She made mistakes and needed a savior, or do you think she was lying in Luke 1:46-47? Mary was no more righteous on her own than you or me. I don’t know what the third secret was, but do observe what material changes are taking place in the church. I don't think this video is accurate. I heard an interview with father Malachi Martin who said he also read the third secret. He could not say what was in it. What he did say is that it mentions a catastrophe so great that despite your worst imagining, it would be worst than that, is how he worded it. That does not sound like the catholic church losing its way. It sounds like something on the planet happening.

"(We want) to pay a sincere tribute to those who were abuse victims during their childhood and dared to give a voice to silence," said child psychiatrist Pedro Strecht, who headed the commission. "They are much more than a statistic."

The Bible says in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 that there would be a great apostasy in the church (Catholic and other denominations) in the end times.

I can understand your Rationale for leaving and have no desire to be a part of the Modern Catholic Church.
You need to return to the Mass of the Ages. The Traditional Latin Mass and not the Novus Ordo/Modern Mass. Find a FSSP or FSPX Parish near you. Even if you have to drive an hour or so. It worth the drive and for your Salvation. I believe that you understand that there is no Salvation outside of the Catholic Church. You won't find the Garbage that you ran from. You will experience Real Catholics of the Faith with Honorable Priests and Laity. And the Women Veiling as the Church has always taught. You won't find Perfection because Humans are not Perfect. But you will be at home once again and Receiving the Eucharist after your Confession.
