The 1994 Live Pulse concert at Earl's Court is widely considered to be one of their best performed and produced live concerts though there are many others. It's all good. David Gilmour on vocals and lead guitar is a genius.
Follow up with “Run like hell”-(from Live at Pompeii, same concert, last song). Oh, and for more of the light show, make sure to check out the “Pulse” concert (1994).
I was fortunate to see David Gilmour on this 2016 solo tour when it came through Chicago. I had only just become a Pink Floyd fan the previous year, so it was surreal to hear those songs sung and performed in real time. David has a new solo album coming out next month, called 'Luck & Strange.' He has released a music video for the song Between Two Points, which features his musician daughter Romany Gilmour on lead vocal and himself on guitar. The song is a remake but I am not familiar with the original, but now I have the Gilmour version in my head as a first impression. It's haunting, pensive, and the music video is beautifully done. David is doing some tour dates to support the album in Europe, New York and Los Angeles. Sadly, no Midwest dates appear to be part of the tour this time around.
I think you'd really enjoy some of David's newer solo music from this same concert. He's got incredibly beautiful guitar solos in songs like "In Any Tongue" and "Faces of Stone"!! Those two songs I mentioned are as good as anything he's done with Pink Floyd!
If you feel like jumping in at the deep end with Floyd try"echoes"live in Gdansk, if you do, you will be in for a roller coaster ride like never before, enjoy
Cool, I've seen Pink Floyd play Echoes in Pompeii. That's a legendary performance. I haven't seen the performance in Gdansk. Thanks for the suggestion!
I've seen that and I agree but that has the entire Pink Floyd band playing. Can't compare the two in my opinion! Having all the original members is on a completely different level.
Your opinion is perfect and respectable, but no. This version is better for the simple fact that David was older and for some reason he didn't play the pulse parts. This is a convergence of their experience and is the best version of comfortably numb to date.

I’ll have to check out his new album. Would love to see him perform sometime too
It ‘s Chuck Leavell from Allman Brothers Band. David is the best guitarist for me and playing like this at 70. Thank you for this reaction.
I knew he looked familiar! Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!

Oh my god that is so good I thought the pulse concert solo was the best but I'm not sure now David rocks your soul
The playing was awesome!!
Yes it was epic!!

@@timeritual the Gdansk performance is darker, heavier, louder and played with more modern kit is quite amazing, you won't be disappointed,
I will definitely make a reaction video for that soon @@markgoodison302
great reaction, you might like to SORROW from the live pulse concert
Thanks for the suggestion! I will check it out!

@@Sagradoshz agree
Ils ont un bassiste mdr. C'est juste Guy Pratt qui joue avec gilmour depuis au moins 1994 lol
Exactly. And what he does has nothing to do with the word shred..
What word would you use then?

Fair enough! I like your description better
