I saw David Gilmour on this tour that year when it came through Chicago. I had just become a fan of Pink Floyd and especially David Gilmour's guitar work the year before, and he doesn't tour often; maybe once per decade. So, I jumped at the chance to see him on this tour. He is the same age as my dad (older by about one month) :) and as you can tell, he still sounded amazing! Thanks for reacting to this one.
The guitar he is playing here is known as the " Black Strat " one of the world's best known instruments. It was sold a few years ago in the USA for $3.3 million.
