Meanwhile, we saw Arnab Goswami hedge his bets - he questioned Adani while the stocks were down, and declared the crisis was over as the stocks went down. Needless to say the story isn’t over yet.

@@guitarmaniac89 This is nothing new going on. Over 40 years back there have been many shell companies carrying on businesses in Mumbai and they would be called sister concerns or sister company. Today they are given a new term shell company. Many many businesses may have made money over 50 years by having shell companies all over India, i should say. May be it was legal then and illegal now, I don't know. Since I am retired i m not into it much. I watch these videos and comment with whatever experience I have had in the past, present.

@10:20 I think there's a mistake.. Adani wasn't prepaying his loans but it was a margin call from the international banks as a result of his stocks plummeting very badly which were the collateral.

The scandal rocked the Rajiv Gandhi-led government in the late 1980s. On January 22, 1990, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) lodged an FIR against the then president of Bofors Martin Ardbo, the alleged middleman Win Chadda and the Hinduja brothers for criminal conspiracy, cheating and forgery.
