- A number of purported #WhatsApp chats between #ArnabGoswami and BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta got leaked last week. These chats were part of Mumbai Police's chargesheet in the #TRPScam case. This week, we look at what these chats say and what they indicate about the head of #RepublicTV. We also look at #TimesNow putting itself on high moral ground and compare it to their primetime lows.

By yourself i mean the viewers in India at large who ignored the soldiers calling for independent investigation into the deaths, talking about how the checkpoints to Pulwama were removed days before the attack and also ignored Davinder Singh's arrest and the implications of his past. Instead, you all readily believed Goswami and others and joined them in laying blame on Pakistan and gave votes so BJP could win. If he is deshdroh, what does that make BJP?

It didn't occur to me till your comment, those were the emojis. I was thinking this is some kind of data corruption happened because they might have to get the data with some invasive method (possibly directly from the chip).

It's the pathetic opposition that cannot pull-up it's socks, if it was any other party who committed sins of BJP, there would have been aggressive protests on the streets and on social media by BJP

One thing for sure is...unlike the SSR case, most of the hardcore right-wingers did not care of whatsapp privacy leaks of celebrities. But when Arnab's Whatsapp leak happened, they are suddenly concerned of Whatsapp leaks and privacy. They are was like an army of support for SSR and just like that, they disappeared after Bihar election. Its clear current party has a dedicated wing just for social media focus.
I can already see Govt doing their level best to scuttle this case and hope people forget. They know opposition has zero hold on social media nor their own IT cell. So this case will go out quietly.

Dear Harsh, you can get a monthly subscription for the price of a coffee or a pizza today. We should be able to forego one meal on Swiggy or Zomato once every month for the sake of getting the truth out there. You’d be saving both your health and that of the media by doing so. Just think about it. We read so many stories about the sacrifices that our freedom fighters made for our country, Gandhiji’s satyagraha, it’d be a shame if we can’t suppress our taste buds at least once for the sake of the values we believe in. I remember visiting the cellular jail in Andaman and seeing photographs upon photographs of young men being consigned to the history bins for as little as a protest. They were just littered with conspiracy case after conspiracy case. I remember the case of a Muslim man - his surname was ironically enough Shah. He was arrested under some conspiracy case, was tortured over several years and ended up becoming insane in there before eventually losing his life. What would the young man that he was when the first spark of revolt brewed in him, say if he were to see what is happening in this country today? I am sure we all can sacrifice one meal every month for his sake. I know I can. Can you?
