Manisha reminds me of my younger sis, who has a Masters in Cognitive Psychology & minored in Journalism - she speaks very much like my sister. More power to you. Stay fair, balanced and objective, and never give in. The simple right to 'ask questions' is a basic tenet of democracy.

But, the problem is two-fold (1) The pro-Modi media behaves as if the current Govt. can do no wrong. (2) The mainstream media is stifled / twisted to the point, that it has started sounding like the Govt.'s mouth-piece. These two things are wrong. If PM Modi (and BJP) rule for the rest of India's history, there is still nothing wrong, as long as they entertain questions, and opposition and discussion.

The problem is not a person but the cult built around that person. I too believe PM Modi is a hard-working person, but to believe he can do no wrong is wrong. I personally believe a lot of good initiatives by Modi government were ill communicated and hence back-fired. The sad part is that there is no way to stop this, people still watch such news channels, they even say that I am watching this for entertainment. The thing is that people don't have time to research what is right and what is wrong so they form their opinions on the basis of what these News Channels speaks.
