I'm hoping you will fish BASS with Martin, Dudley, Upshaw and the gang. I really enjoy the chemistry in the videos you all collaborate on. I would expect Upshaw to try MLF because he like catching the little ones on his Ned rig.
I already loved your tips and videos, so how AWESOME to have this video come up in my "Vermont" search! I live near Lake Catherine, too! Thank you for your great content.
Was just here last week. Only one section of the lake has pads anymore and it was so weedy in the middle of that section it was hard to even drive around. Had one frog bite that got off in 4 days. Did catch my first pike on a ned rig in the main lake. Bomoseen also didn't have any pads in the half of the lake i saw, didn't have enough gas to get to the northern end to see if any was up there.
Two years ago, I rented a rowboat with my two kids and I lost what could have potentially been a double digit bass after landing a near 3 ft pike on the previous cast. It towed the boat with its near 500lbs around like a trolling motor, then went under the boat and shook the hook. It looks just like the spot around 2:50 in the video although they said that was the southern end of the lake so it may not be it. We caught a ton of fish that trip, I even got two on a single treble hook! Last year, my youngest son lost what could have been a 7+ pounder there too, but we didn't get much else.
I actually have a vacation place on that lake and have had a hard time fishing it, but now I know the secret! Great content on all you videos, I thoroughly enjoy all of them.
thank you for content man! ive been learning so much from you, Scott and pops! for the last year I've been fishing again and completely lost a passion of mine for too many years thank you for the tips, that help keep it one of the funniest things ive always loved to do!
I should also add that for the most part, most lakes in Vermont don't have this amount of weeds. Parts of Bomoseen and Lake St. Catherine do, but many like Champlain, Dunmore, Crystal Lake, either Echo Lake etc are more clear water with minimal weeds. Lake Dunmore is probably the clearest water I have ever seen and can be difficult fishing but they have some giants there.
Of course we'd like you come back to the north country and fish Brian... I, for one, am glad that you've gotten to experience what the fishing up here is like. Maybe you would entertain fishing for something other than bass up here?? Got some great pike and walleye fishing here as well
Great video Brian, I love fishing Bomoseen and St Catherine. Next time you’re up that way you can check out Hortonia, Dunmore, and a fun little lake, Burr Pond. Thanks for posting! 👍
@@BrianLatimerFishing I know 7 of our state records have came from that lake including smallmouth and spotted bass. The average depth of that lake is way over 100 feet deep and it goes well over 300 feet in the deepest spots. I have never seen clearer water anywhere. I have never caught smallmouth before. I want to learn more about the lake so maybe I can catch some. I only have a kayak so I cant just joyride the lake and learn it. Was hoping maybe you were more familiar with Jocassee. Maybe you could go shoot a video up there!
That farm looks awesome.. Vermont fishing is INSANE!! Havent fished up there in 20 years or more. But when I did I remember the pond I was fishing with a friend was way out in the sticks in the mountains and the fishing epic. Quality and numbers average fish was 3 to 4 pounds
What tour do you guys think I’ll fish next year? Let’s hear your predictions!!
Brian Latimer MLF ALL DAYYYYYYY🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Go take over the Open!
I kinda hope all you guys that fished together this year will stay together for next year. Of course that means you will be fishing BASS if you do.

If you ever make it back up to Vermont, I'd suggestion checking out Curtis Pond in Calais Vermont.

Everyone is waiting on your decision weather you going to fish the FLW or the Bass master opens with Scott Martin.
