Ike, you are a legend! Thanks for all the tips and tricks you share for the betterment of our sport! I normally shy away from pro endorsed products, but I just bought myself Ike-approved Flambeau tackle boxes the other day to support you. 😁👍
Brilliant!!!! You never seize to amaze Mike, your knowledge of the game has helped myself and I’m sure plenty of other anglers alike!!!! Keep em coming!
Love the Video Mike. I think that i will have to go back and see if I missed any of your
"Out In The Shop Videos" , I love these tips and tricks on how you can modify certain presentations - Steve Mortenson ( from Wisconsin... the guy who was wearing your Old School Tournament Jersey )
Well done. Thank you for Sharing. Looking forward to trying the Dum Dum Hair Rig out.
I like to use the stinger method but I'll add a 1" gulp minnow to the stinger hook. I never thought of using a blade that's a great idea.
Awesome twist to the wacky rig. Love it! Where in Wisconsin was the tournament you fished this rig. I live in southeast Wisconsin. With that mustache you probably fit right in here!
These vids help so much man! Just the way you go into depth and how you go about explaining every little detail. Great vid Ike!
Thank you William!
I carp fish, and swear by hair rigs, it hooks the fish when they spit the bait out if you don’t set in time. Never thought of using it on bass. This is why Ike is a pro and I’m not. Thank you for sharing the genius with us.
Me and Bobby Littleton won a tournament on the wacky worm, since then it's my favorite way to fish early season. This information that Mike is giving us is unbelievable! This is genius! Will someone please comment to me who else besides Mike will tell you how they won a tournament and go into that much detail. This video has so much "new" information for me it is mind boggling. I don't know of anyone that will go through this much trouble to tell you how to fish. Thank you sir, I need to learn from people like you. Keep up the excellent work.
Scott Martin, David Dudley, Gerald Swindle, Kevin Van Dam lol
Thanks for all the tips and videos your the best thanks keep doing what you're doing
Great job last week, Ike! I live right by Winnebago, and was glued to the livestream while I was stuck working all day.
Thanks man!
Wow thanks ike!! Watching this again and I tied 5 rigs different ways to try awesome tip bro!!
Stinger setup is money! I'm trying it. Thanks Mike!
Appreciate you sharing your fishing wisdom... I just tried your dropsheet rig, love it. Thanks bunches !
Tight lines brother!
Mike is a absolute legend! And a true pioneer moving the sport of bass fishing forward 🎣🎣🔥🔥
Appreciate the kind words!
Thank you for this tip I went out and caught a few fish and one over 3lbs fishing ponds
Will definitely be trying this I’ve never really thrown the wacky rig, because of my hook up rate. This will be a game changer for me!
Great hadn’t seen this rig. I will be rigging up some for next trip to lake. Thanks a lot.
Love it can’t wait to try this up at Lake Erie ! Thanks Ike
You are a great teacher Ike! Thank you!
it's a stretch but we'll try it. Mike definitely thinks out of the box!
In Europe carp is our primary sport fish, I generally fish for carp but like bass too. I can not believe I didn't think of this myself. Will be trying this rig for sure, thanks Ike
Man I've watched you from the beginning of your pro carrier and from day one I've enjoyed your style and attitude. My favorite hands down BIG MOUTH MIKE MOMENT was when you and the infamous KVD had the spat over a deep water fishing hole......best response ever was hey bud just calm down and fish Kevin your a pro and should be able to deal with the situation better than getting mad about it.....
Love you’re tips! Thanks
This is great!!! I will definitely try this out. Thanks!!
Guess I'm gonna have to grow my handlebar again so I can try this rig out. Lol
It's similar in nature to the road runner/under spin/horse head jig heads I use for swim baits. Hopefully this works as well or better and I'll be able to save a considerable amount of money. Thanks for the Pro-Tip, Mike!
I guess im randomly asking but does anybody know a trick to log back into an Instagram account??
I was stupid lost my password. I would love any assistance you can offer me.
@Austin Otto instablaster :)
@Frederick Terrence I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im trying it out now.
I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Frederick Terrence it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my ass!
@Austin Otto You are welcome =)
Looks Useful and Effective. Thanks
really cool interesting video and great explanation Ike!!!
Brilliant. Might combine the willow blade with a stinger hook. Should look like a baitfish feeding on a worm as it’s falling in the water column.
Great video mike..HAPPY 4TH OF NEW JERSEY ♡♡♡ TOM FROM BUDD LAKE NJ ♡♡♡
worked it , loved it , didnt try all but the one with the stinger hook worked like charm
Nice man!
The effort is exceptional, stay true! to tradition.
I won my first state tournament on Winnebago! I’m a fan of that Wisconsin lake. Also, what’s that Berkley shirt you have in this video do they sell fishing shirts now??
Ike out here dropping knowledge bombs
Gonna have to give this one a try, defiantly different!
That stache is looking magnificent.
Seems like a great rig to stay hung up a lot with a bare hook just dangling out there. But hey if it works it works. Don’t think I’ll be trying it anytime soon.
Happy 4th Mike and Family!! MERCA!
On the Yellowstone River I'd be doubling the odds of snagging. A good idea on a lake.
Great video. Gonna give that a try tomorrow
@ 5:30 mind blown! It dances without restraint. Fish on!
Great rig for small mouth in clear lakes here in Canada I tie directly to the o ring and use stick bait Or use a light hair jig and hitchhiker with small bait think drop shot baits
Ike!You need to set up that Traeger bro! That thing is is the bomb!🤙🏾
That mustache makes you look like an old timey shop keeper.
i was thinking untrustworthy neighborhood ice cream man
@@stevenerickson5925 pornstash wanna be lol #millikenfishin
That's a compliment Ike!😁 Always enjoyed watching ya fish brother!
@@jasonfreeman1381 don't you mean #pigpatol ? Lol
I always like a lot the clear way you explain in your videos .
Thanks for the feedback!
Doesn't suspending the worm below the hook allow for missed strikes? Seems like you could get the same snared-worm action using an egg hook knot like for steelheading. This way you have both of your hooks, you get the loop and your bait is against the hook
2:07 ghost in the window lol
You trolling us with this??? HA! Looks like it could be useful. I'm stuck on the neko rig right now. Crushing smallies with it up here in MN. Thanks for all the tips and tricks!
I was really hoping this video was gonna be about the mike long 'treble hook, grub, and dropshot weight rig'
Interesting rig, I'll have to try that!
Also allows the use of a semi slack line without impeding the action
I might have missed it, but are you tying the snap onto the braid with Palomar knot?
Good Lord. Amazing instructional videos. Thank you thank you!
Thanks man!
“NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!”
AAAARRGGHH!!!!
Why not use a walleye stinger hook the kind with the rubber in the eye or spinner bait trailer hook
I fish way to shallow and grassy lakes to be fishing something like that.
"Too" shallow?
@@tdbass2968 Yeah. Maybe this Dumb Dumb rig is good for me, because I don't know how to English.
@@metz12harofreak well that might be true if you can't spell simple words or care to review comments before posting.
@@tdbass2968 Honest mistake man. Why are you getting so worked up about it? I meant nothing against you.
@@metz12harofreak hope it works for ya man 🤙🏼 , some people just gotta be dicks 🤷🏻♂️
Good tips on making a hybrid wacky rig.
Straight hook robo worm or middle baby D 8 pound fluoro and medium spin 7' 2" bam catch anything
Very innovative. I like how you think outside the box.
One of the things I love about fishing man!
What line and lb. do you use when fishing from your pole?
Great stuff Mike, thanks!!
Thanks for watching Jeff!
Ike, the 70's called. They want their mustache back
Ron James was the caller lol
@@mikebeddingfield2144 Freddy Murcury
he looks like b rad from malibu's most wanted
Maybe you mean Ron Jeremy?
@@brandon87ize not with that goofy ass hat on .
I'm coming out with a new style- It's called the Super Dumb Dumb Rig, it uses three hooks!
I would love to see a video explaining the origins of all these crazy fishing/bait/styles/technique etc. names.
I took my wife fishing, she had never fished before and she told me she wanted to pick out what she wanted to fish with so I said okay I’ll tie it on when you find what you want, she ended up with a Texas rigged spinner bait with the stinger being a chicken rigged fluke, I call it the TRSBCRF 😂, fish are just so overwhelmed with it that they think it’s a buffet, I truly believe this rig needs to be endorsed😂🤣also another one of her favorites is to just close her eyes and reach in the bag and mish mosh mash baits together, she has one called the split tail spinner worm Alabama rig with 3 weedless treble hooks snelled through a Ned rig worm with an underspin and on each treble she has crappie jigs 3 on every treble hook and all different colors, better known as the Christmas tree bait as she calls it😂😂😂😂😂😂
Looking good Ike...good luck Redcrest...
Did you ever try the blumpkin rig
Good video and even better tips
Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Thanks for always giving us tips man, good luck on the tournaments bro,
What about adding another worm, so double wacky rig
Now your talkin!
Wow Ike, that’s unique!
Anyone else wondering what those treager grills in the background are all about?
this 100% convinces me that fish do not care about seeing your line. A hook floating above the bait haha.
If youre not using one of those traeger grills behind you, I'll gladly take one.
Gotta try it
Simply Genius!
The willow seems like the move.
Neat set up. I will try it
Let me know what you think bass cat.
Thanks Ike cool rig
Great stuff,
I love the wacky. More techniques to try.
Can never have too many techniques up your sleeve.
Knock on wood I haven’t had that happen to me before. Lol always use a finesse wide gap 1/0 or 2/0 through the middle of a zman zinkers senko with a light nail weight. Can’t go wrong. That’s also an awful lot of work to rig up. Not hating on it at all because I think it’s a crazy new technique that’ll definitely put fish in the boat.
Interesting rig and I would say it has a lot more action.
Guys this is a rig that catches fish I live in Wisconsin and use this rig all the time and I've had triple digit days on bass
I second this statement from Wisconsin wacky rig rules the waters all seasons long
You know I love you Ike but I've had spider wire break off mid cast and lost expensive lures. Even their vanish florocarbon breaks off. I wish berkely would get it together and make a quality line. I love their baits, hell I've caught my 10.5 pb on the pit boss but berkley braid and floro needs more work. Just being honest bro
only ever used berkley and powerline and never had this issue. i guess its time to experiment between brands! thanks for tip
I actually switched from power pro and spider wire to fire line and like it a lot better so far. Went down from 10lb test to 8lb and still no issues
U my good sir are so correct spider wire is not very good quality
Yeah it’s frustrating. He is only going to talk good about Berkley products because he is sponsored by them. There is much better products out there.
My favorite line is Berkley triline 100% fluro and ive tried the Berkley vanish and I'm not a fan it is not as good as the Berkley Triline and for the spiderwire I'm not a fan at all rather buy power pro hands down he is sponsored by Berkley so ofcourse he is going to plug Berkley braid but I think there are better options for same price
Does it still skip well?
I'm going to try this over at Oneida Lake......if it doesn't work, I'm shaving off that mustash
Cool trick , thanks
I have another Idea but one on the snap and one on the hook now its a DOUBLE WACKY
That’s freekin awesome 👏
nice explanation
Great vids Ike, but damnit man, get a camera without auto focus for those close-up macros!
Love the stash lol!
Gotta change it up every now and then Tommy haha Thanks!
Great vid Mike! Looking for a new spinning reel. I would love to get your Abu reel..... just can’t afford it.
Any alternatives you would recommend? Around $100......
Thanks man
John Perdue Shimano SLX, Lews LFS, Daiwa fuego CT. All great options
SLX
Sick stashe bro.
intresting rig !
Wish you chase some walleyes
When walleye fishing with an 1/8 or 1/4 oz jig over a snaggy bottom..... use a 4" dropper line below jig. Add a split shot , on the bottom of the line, as a bottom finder. Less snags, but if the split shot snags, it'll just pull off. Add another split shot and you're back in the game.
This works great with drop shot rigs too. Why buy expensive drop shot weights when cheap split shots works better ????
Out that grill together
You said that you were adding a SNAP swivel but your video showed you’d only added a snap.
Intelligent rig is the name for it!
