The only problem is the both joystick drift glitch that is causing it's because you might have to unsync and sync again in order to work instantly
happens with any controller unfortunately

for the people who are wondering what the comparisons are between this controller and the PRO
there's 2 details that come to mind.
1 this controller does not have rumble (the vibration)
2 some amiibo support
other than that it feels identical.
I do find this controller way better looking, and couldn't care less about rumble and even less about amiibo and the fact this controller is cheaper it's an easy choice
we love this feedback yo
Also the only thing I find an inconvenience is it does not show how much battery it has and I really want to know how much it has but other than that it is a really good and amazing controller
It also uses MicroUSB instead of USBc.
Hey, so I’ve been having some trouble with a PDP Switch Controller which is the Faceoff+ Deluxe Controller, I know completely unrelated to this but it keeps moving in 8 directions and not moving smoothly anymore.
i have the face off too. i think yours might be broken :(
Lol yeah same thing unrelated but my controller like even when it’s off it turns on like trying to pair by itself so it just goes off and ends up losing all of its battery

hey dude got a question how long does it take to charge and how do you turn off the rgbs just wanna know so when my controller comes ill know how to do it and how long it takes to charge
it doesn't take long i'm not sure exactly how long but just play as you charge and you'll never lose battery. just cycle through the colors until off.

@@Jpndiazz tbf 3 meters wired isn't too much of a disadvantage unless you're a beast and somehow mess the port up. To each their own though, I can see why some people might not like it.

its cheaper but no input/layout editing or rumble, still an amazing controller that i love to use
No, it's a cheaper budget version, no rumble, no nfc and the plastic shell also feels cheaper in the hands

Down side this controller doesn't display the battery 🔋 so it's hard to tell if you need to change it or not until you get a warning ⚠️ controller is low please change it.

Hey! My pro controller kind of stopped working and I was thinking of maybe getting one these since its cheaper. Comparing it to the pro controller, what are the pros and cons? Because im scared I will sacrifice quality but not getting a pro controller
you do sacrifice a bit of quality considering the price point but to this day the controller works fine and has not gone bad on me! if you want a cheaper alternative to it, i would for sure go with this one. I can't fully compared because i haven't owned a pro controller to be honest.

Bought 2 of those controllers and the lights didn't work the way they was supposed to I could even get em to change colors but it is a good controller other den the lights not work right...

Can you take off the face plate like the Faceoff controllers? I don't want to swap it out, that defeats the purpose obviously, but I have the mod pack with the octagonal ridges for my Faceoff controller and I was wondering if you could swap out the rings with the Afterglow as well.
not this one unfortunately. i know which ones you're talking about i have those as well.
@@Jpndiazz Sad. I was hoping maybe to have this as a spare controller, or as a replacement for when mine inevitably breaks. I play a lot of Smash though, so I'd prefer to have the ridges.

@@Jpndiazz Aww, shoot... Otherwise one of the coolest controllers I have ever seen... I wouldn't mind otherwise, but I have noticed some games make amazing use of the rumbles... For example, Skyrim which makes you able to pick master locks without a single fail. Great video.
Nice vid, but u forgot to mention it has no rumble, which i found out later, and is a deal breaker for me

nah it's for the switch only
@@Jpndiazz if it doesn't work wired for you on pc, that's because u would have to put steam in big picture mode and go into setting and select switch layout controls. It will configure and download the switch pro controler layout and drivers. It works with all of pdp's controllers and the official controller too. Have yet to try this one that's why I asked.

I played in a smash tournament the day after I bought the controller and out of nowhere it was like the controller had a mind of its own. I mean it was dodge rolling repeatedly, grabbing without even laying a finger on the controller sending random attacks, I WAS LUCKY I EVEN TOOK OFF THREE STOCKS IN THAT CONDITION
The instructions say you can disable the back buttons by double tapping them and holding the small circle next to the right joystick, you can also remove the back buttons.
