I love that HPI still offers this chassis even though it’s 20-ish years old and the 18th scale racing scene also died years ago. Just wish they’d offer more body styles like they did back in the day when this was actually new :) But it’s good to see there’s still some interest in it, maybe the 18th scale racing scene could make a comeback :)
Only with drift tires though, looks much better in small scales, for me. I’d even do regular races with drift tires and added weight, so it simulates having less grip/acceleration/deceleration/etc like you have in real cars.
Can you just slap a 7.4v battery in it I have one and it seems like the esc and reciever can go over 10v. The motor, any motor can go any volt it just breaks from heat, I think. Anyways the 6v bec it talks about having. is that to the motor? Nice video I subbed to maybe get some pro help with mine.
