Got me itching to get back into the 1/24th scale. I was HEAVILY into xmods back in the day from radioshack.
Do it. Mini-Z is a phenomenal value whether you want shelf queens or highly technical driving indoors.

I use a Tupperware lid for these little builds. Keeps things from disappearing mostly.
I do the same thing but use a baking sheet.

In the states, we used to have cars just like that. When radioshack was around they offered "xmods". For the day, they were pretty advanced.
The mini-z was available earlier in the US but Xmods took the crown in popularity for most due too being available in a store like Radioshack.
God I remember seeing xmods and zip zaps everywhere until the mini z's took their place before radio shack went under. Good times lol
I had a ton of xmods and its what got me into rc in 2004 lol

Those little guys look like so much fun. got a sg-1603 drift truck I think is 1/16 scale for in my two story barn. Think I might have to consider some mini Z's wish there where some club in my area. Great video

The correct setup does make a huge difference in how the car handles
I’m wondering how fast your challenger here would go flat out when setup with all those mods with 100% throttle ofc, it looks blistering

Thought you’d have the mini z Skyline you can get that in UK for around £200 with the AWD chassis. Common mistake mixing up the RWD & AWD.

I was looking at these a couple weeks ago, for near $200 id rather build another 1/10th tamiya tt02 kit, but its still neat.

nice video makes me wish i had a track like that to take my mini z's to, and to take the middle batteries out you dont use a screwdriver and pry it out lol theres a hole at the bottom where the battery sits and you poke the bottom of the battery to get it out

These things are awesome. Have plenty of Xmods - these things are built much better and more hobby grade. That little rear transmission and brushless motor is impressive for such a small vehicle. Love it! Will get some eventually.

There a saying in real car racing and F1 that says the fastest drivers are the ones who brake the most. Curiously slow is fast! I love my rwd kyosho. I have the racing tires which I sometimes use, but most of the time it just has the drift tires on. I bought the same wheels offset set you have, but left them white because it looks good with my silver skyline body

You should do more track videos. They are a fresh addition to your channel. I see that someone's got the Saleen S7. That's gotta be a Mini Q Q9 cause I've got that too. I run mine with a 15000kv motor and lipo, even more overkill than yours :p.

I thought the original MR-01 was priced okay, but the latest models are way too much money.
I guess that the manufacturer didnt know that the yellow strip that comes under the airdam on the challenger is just a shipping protection strip for the airdam which the owners are supposed to take off before they start driving it
Lol but 99% of owners keep them on, so it is more realistic to have it on VS off.
