Your videos of the canyon and my visit there 23 years ago from England UK are the inspiration for my BNFS Canyon sub layout, all scenery and no buildings, thanks again for a superb video
in 1999 my new wife and i travelled from australia to america for our honeymoon.... we travelled thru the canyon, the highlite of the journey thru the canyon was sitting at the tunnel and watching trains pass below us and over the wye... i have since then returned twice more to this area..... very nice place
So awesome. From the sky, Feather River Canyon line looks like a perfectly-built model railroad. My son and I took our DJI drone up to the Keddie Way a few years ago to capture action there. After about 30 seconds of perfect panoramic filming, I managed to fly the drone right into a tree, where it sits to this day.... ;)-
Good stuff again Dan but sad. The views of a very slow river are hurtful. At the time of the year you filmed that river should be rock'in and roll'in. Calif is in serious trouble.
Great video Dan! The scenery was beautiful and the train was unusual. The Feather River looked like a creek instead of a river because of the drought that has been plauging the west for years. Thank you for documenting the eastbound gypsum train on this winding roadbed.
Amazing shots! I know this route suffered some fire damage over the summer. Has the line through Portola and kiddie reopened for freight train traffic?I did some quick Google searches and didn't find any recent news about it. Thanks take care and keep up the great work

Thanks a lot Tony! Happy to hear it.

Cool! That's great you've had the chance to spend time in there. I think it's pretty spectacular.
Awesome job of documenting spectacular mountain railroading!
Thanks Jerry!
That shot across Rock Creek Reservoir looks like an excellent N-scale layout.
Superb videography, as usual, Dan. Thumbs up!
Thank you Ken!
Excellent work sir. Love the long pull shots in the middle section of video.
Thanks!
What a wonderful site, true wild nature gently crossed by human work ! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!
Fantastic!!! Love when you flew thru those misty like clouds. Great scenery. Been to Maddie and it is hard to beat.
Thanks!
That’s so beautiful and relaxing with the music you chose, really a pleasure to see 💕
Thanks mom!

Oh no! Dang that's too bad to hear. I've lost a couple myself as well...
RFD, Your videos are consistently brilliant. Very soothing, too. Thank you.
Thanks a lot!
I DON'T OFTEN GET TO SAY IT ... BUT THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO ...
Thank you Daniel!

Thanks but yes you're right. It gets worse every year it seems and I only visit once in a while.
Great work, Dan!
Thank you!

Thanks Thomas! Yes the river is extremely low from what I'm hearing which isn't good...

Yes at this point in time everything is open and running again but now we're all waiting for mudslides to inevitable shut it down again...
Great photography once again, I was just wondering why no traffic on Hywy 70?
It's more of a byway so not much thru traffic that would travel through the Sierras here.
