- Is it worth installing a bov and getting rid of the bpv? YES, it is just for noise but its a good noise. This BOV from Boomba Racing is not the loudest of the choices but, its exactly how I wanted my car to sound like. Let me know what you think and want to see me install next!
Thank You Boomba Racing for a great BOV
250$ USD (Worth every penny)

Thank you for showing this and make more videos. I enjoyed the commentary too.
Thank you! I really needed this comment
My boomba racing bov arrives tomorrow for my 2015 VT. I just put my new Typhoon CAI on today.
I am thankful the 2015s you just need to partially unmount the front bumper, versus taking off the bottom skirting. That would be an epic pain the ass.
Love your VT, man! Good video. Keep modding that baby out!
Dang, that's loud! I need to do this on mine when I get it back out of the shop!
It's totally worth it! not the loudest but its very easy for a fun upgrade!
Have the same BOV and love it! Great video!
Thank you!
I'm about to order this soon. Just bought the kn coldnair intake.
I have heard good things from them. You will hear the spool up on the turbo a little. its pretty sick honestly
@@jarednewburyvlog9973 is it just sound or does it have like actual benefit?
@@makogiron so the stock system shoots the air back into the intake to be reused and helps with keeping pressure. Very miniscule. The bov just shoots it in the atmosphere. It's more for just the sound. But honestly, it's my favorite mod. Hearing it makes the car sound so much better
@@jarednewburyvlog9973 do you think in combination with the cold air intake it would have any effect? I've been trying to look online if it's good or not to mix both.
@@makogiron I think the only difference I can imagine is the intake will help the car inhale better. The BOV wont really change at all with any intake you install. Get the BOV and install it. I have a MBRP exhaust an intake. The BOV is by far my favorite mod. The BPV that is stock just recirculates and keep that air in the intake compared to the BOV. If you have fast enough shifts the BPV is better for performance. BUT we are talking around 0.1 seconds of a shift. and even then its really nothing to clap about.
Good vid, made me giggle
I'm glad you enjoyed it and got a giggle out of it 😂
had an issue with mine. in normal mode you couldnt hear it no mater how hard i ran it. once i put it in sport mode it was super loud. so i just drove in sport mode all the time
you can't hear it in normal mode? I am not 100% sure but the psi for boost in normal and sport both peak around 18 psi. You should hear it equally in normal or sport. and changing from either sport or normal wouldnt affect the BOV as its hooked up to a vacuum line.
Does the plug mess with the turbo at all? Or like will plugging that possibly damage anything or lose power?
The plug just keeps non filtered air from coming through. It wont affect anything at all. Its the cheaper way for a bov sound but the sound is slightly audible.
I have a 2014 Hyundai veloster turbo isn’t the blow off valve in the front top bumper?
You and mine have the same. I have a 2016, his is a 2nd generation man. That's why his bov is in different area
Yea different gen. Im not sure on the 1st gen.
did you put the o ring back on ?
On the plug? Yea i left it on.
Would that void the warranty for the engine or no
It does not. As long as you install correctly, it can not void the warranty. It can only void a warranty if proven it was the part at fault. Installing a bov will not harm your engine
El perjudicial para el motor?
No. As long as you plug the intake hole. I have never had a code or issues. Instead of air recirculating. It goes to the atmosphere. 100%safe
Any link where I can get the part bro
