Can you tell if your car is/was running rich? Did your car run different after installing the BOV? I was thinking about putting one on mine. But I heard it could ruin the engine.
So I got one of these and put it on and it sounds great I also have the bypass valve hose off the car because I have an aftermarket air intake and I was wondering if I were to plug that hole on the bypass valve portion paired with the turbo xs installed would it make it louder or could I run into some surging issues
You would be way better off. I have the same thing and went with a Boomba bov, and it sounds even better having a cold-air intake in it. I'm surprised you didn't get a CEL with your hose capped off.
Did you have to take the bumper off it get to that? Other vids I’ve seen say that you have to take the bumper off but it looks like you just took that cover off.

Not sure, it’s my friends car. It seemed to run pretty much the same after the install

You have to pop the bumper out but you don’t have to entirely take it off. Just remove the bolts and you can access everything

I’ve considered getting a Hyundai, except I’ve heard mixed reviews on the reliability. And yeah the blowoff valve isn’t for everyone haha
