Hey Doris..nice to see you are back on your older cars..have to admit though..you are one special woman to tackle those old school cars by yourself..kudos to you for even learning the process..however one thing concerns me and it's your safety..no eye protection or ear protection..always remember..safety first..please save your eyes and ears..but your doing a fantastic job..and I do enjoy watching your work being performed..take care and God bless.
Hi Doris, You need to put an after market Chassis under your Mustang as it would make it steer and handle so much better. From what I have seen they fit straight on the car and that would be great experience for you to do and us your viewers. I think you may have to change the fuel tank but that would be in the instructions. Good luck with the build.
Doris you need to get yourself a tool cart that you can work off of under the car . It's like a moveable work bench that is movable to where ever you need it to be ,for your tools and or parts !!
Don't forget eye protection too!!!!! Keep up the good work. Check out your local community college for welding courses. I learned how to weld out here in California at a local community college. Once you learn the basic process, it works across most types of metals.
It fun to see tear down that old stang. Now, people who think it's easy can see it's not that easy. Still yet, though, you have a lot to learn as you go along the way. Keep it going, girl 👍
You sure did it the hard way, remove the bumper first, then the grill, then the argent trim, then the upper valence so the fenders can come off with the headlamp extensions attached. Hopefully the studs didn't break or crack the pot metal extensions during the fight cuz they're spendy to replace
I tried looking for the order, but there is very little online and on YT mostly everything is 65-68. One did have 69 but the steps were all over the place so I had to guess most of the time. Nothing on the fenders or headlamps broke which is what I was avoiding
@@woman.driven Good to know it all worked out anyway. Sucks the grill broke, but then again it's old weathered appearance isn't a good look. Alloy Metal brand is the best for replacing the chopped door wiring harnesses, but separate the staples to save the plastic channels for the wiring, I don't think those are repro'd
I love every generation of the ford Mustang American muscle car.😊 I am from Dublin Ireland and I am 27 years old.😊❤️🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪❤️❤️❤️😊😊❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Doris, I needs to know what laundry detergent you use because you always wear light colors and then get oil stains all over them. 😆 By the way, I don't know if you mentioned it in a previous video or not, but what is your plan for all those fenders? Also, one final question, I noticed how low your Viper is with that lower front splitter. Do you have any issues driving over speed bumps in that? I just added a lower carbon fiber splitter to my vehicle and it's pretty low now also. Good job by the way and keep them coming.
Great video Doris. The Mustang was fighting for it's life keeping those fenders on with those hidden bolts. Also should name it Charlotte cuz of Charlotte's Web with all those spiders.
Awesome job, yeah being 55 years old, things like grill is going to be broken, those plastics have exceeded their life span. Can't wait to see what is next. And yes for most earplugs are needed.
Knowing the order now, I will put things on that way. Very little I could find on the order looking by online and almost no videos in detail exist on YT.
You probably should have removed the headlight bezel and grill that holds the headlight in before you tried to remove the fender, that’s what was keeping you from getting it off. It would have made the job easier, well there’s always next time. You have a lot of patience LOL
I tried looking for the order, but there is very little online and on YT mostly everything is 65-68. One did have 69 but the steps were all over the place so I had to guess most of the time
thanks for showing us how to take a part a mustang.,my best friend art had a few 69 mustangs ,love this car ,,good job ,wow he has 1 he bot its in peaces ,lol
Yup. I worked up to a systems engineer for virtualization back when I was in IT :). So naturally, finding my way around things by looking and doing helps be figure it out.. it just may not be in the correct order lol
Hi Doris! The Headlight assembly that you removed is a hard to get part, so treat with care. I hope that NPD helped with their part section. also, check Kentucky Mustangs too.
Earplugs are essential, Buttplugs are optional.
😳

I have one. I just need to clean the existing tools that are on it and use it for its intended purpose lol
That's one lucky Mustang... To have you caressing it's body like that....
Don't forget eye protection too!!!!! Keep up the good work. Check out your local community college for welding courses. I learned how to weld out here in California at a local community college. Once you learn the basic process, it works across most types of metals.
My favorite mechanic! Hands down!
I built a 1967 Mustang from ground up when I was 18 they are loads of fun to build. I can’t wait to see yours it will bring back memories.
It's nice to see you again

Nifty! Can’t wait to see her going back together. She’ll be a beauty. I’ve watched lots of your videos, and you do an amazing job on these cars.
I wish you the best getting it all put together the way you want!
I envy the hard work like lady works on vehicles keeping up the great work Woman Driven Dorice💪♥️
I really enjoyed looking through your work 😍😘
you should have removed front grill and light buckets first the fenders would have been so much easier.
I agree, she definitely did that the hard way.
I was screaming that all the way from Scotland but she didn't hear me..
As a known animal lover, I treat camels with love and respect. (2:01 - 2:40).
Now I want fish tacos for lunch. 🤣🤣🤣
I can't wait to see how the mustang comes out
You and I both!
@@woman.drivenany ideas on paint colours?, or is it too soon? 😊
@@woman.driven any good news on your original 302 engine ? rebuild it or replace with crate engine or what?

Oh no Doris you cut the radio antenna. Ask me how I know. Nice job. 😊Artie
Doris, try spraying your rusty boss in advance. It may help
BTW the grill and headlights come off first then the fenders...
Doris with more power tools love it
Anybody know about this electric mechine for removal of bolts with manual and electric function it's new for me i see before only electric one

Good 👍 job Ms Doris your an expert 🏁🏁🏁🏁💯💯💯💯
Gracias ❤
Bumper, grille, headlight buckets, then fenders
Is the body at least rust free? I wish I learned how to do body work when I started working on cars.
Great video Doris. The Mustang was fighting for it's life keeping those fenders on with those hidden bolts. Also should name it Charlotte cuz of Charlotte's Web with all those spiders.
Well that is it lol.. nothing else left but to begin cutting. Plus, no more spider webs after it’s been cleaned
Awesome job, yeah being 55 years old, things like grill is going to be broken, those plastics have exceeded their

That is true, I try and approach with care and then something breaks lol. So at that point, I just rip it out since I need to buy new now
Lovely job Doris
Princesa , you could have used a vise grip plyers to grip the end of the bolt head while you use the rachet on the other side
beautiful mechanic
2:02 You have a nice carburetor 😉

Crazy question, how come you didn’t take the bumper off, grill, light bezels, hood latch and then the fenders?
Knowing the order now, I will put things on that way. Very little I could find on the order looking by online and almost no videos in detail exist on YT.

Tricky isn't it, specially when the bolts get rusty and stubborn...
Ugh.. yup. It sucks lol
Next time remove all the grill first
What are your plans for the car?❤❤❤❤
Doris, you must be an Engineer by trade or IT. You like to "Tinker" and that is good.
Yup. I worked up to a systems engineer for virtualization back when I was in IT :). So naturally, finding my way around things by looking and doing helps be figure it out.. it just may not be in the correct order lol

Belo Mustang!
I can't be the only one here that don't care about the car
Great job and you’re beautiful ❤❤❤
Do you have the viper
Get a cart so you can put your tools on instead of the floor. Easier on your back.
BiG has❤
How good. Using animals for movement is not convenient.
Love❤❤❤❤❤
I like that shirt
You like doing there thing backwards don’t you… should have started with the bummer then grill and head light surround. Then tha fenders.
Use earplugs sometimes.. it helps🙋
Lesson learned lol
this channel has nothing to do with cars 😁
❤❤
For real, where is your breaker bar? A sprained wrist or worse is going to ruin your day. Nice content, as usual. Keep up the good work.
