- Joining Erik Anders Lang next on the tee box is the long bomber, Dustin Johnson. With 20 PGA Tour wins including a U.S. Open under his belt, DJ has his sights set on adding to his 13 hole in ones. Dustin Johnson provides EAL a swing tip, his practice insights, and even a Netflix recommendation. Take a look above as Dustin gently carves a wedge in from 125!
For this series, Erik Anders Lang and Team Taylormade Athletes all take a crack at an ACE on ACE CAM. Jason Day, Matt Wolff, Collin Morikawa, Dustin Johnson, Maria Fassi, and Beau Hossler all step up to the plate. Major winners, Rookies, and a fresh face on the LPGA Tour are all just as interested as we were as kids at the mystery of making a hole in one. Great news - one of them gets one! Stay tuned for all the episodes on the Erik Anders Lang UA-cam channel and subscribe to not miss the many different videos we release every week.

He’s not arrogant. He just doesn’t have an exuberant personality. Just a chill dude
When the cocaine wears off
I Army kinda like how he plays on tour. Doesn’t seem interested, but it works for him.
@I Army Yeah he always comes across that way. Not exactly a warming personality.
Jamie Crumpton I find DJ much more interesting than the guy interviewing him.
EAL tried but DJ literally has no personality.
He just goes about his business. Does his thing and that’s it. Not sure why people hate on DJ, he’s class
Couldn’t agree more. Plus, he has the best swagger walk on tour.
Bc he screws other guys' wives and gfs. Just ask Jason Dufner
@@jonb2437 half of them are money grubbin pigs lol
His personality doesn't reflect his golf game but are we watching for talent or charisma?? Tune in to Glorified Donkey for more interesting golf news and views!
Cant blame anyone for liking a little blow.
Dustin was like "Man, this nerd really won't shut up" LOL
When he mentions the nickname😂
I would love to see a conversation between Kawhi Leonard and D.J. 😂
That would be golden
Lmao that would be great
Conversation going no where lol
I see them standing there silently for a minute then the camera cutting
How many times can I like this?😂😂😭
Erik, you tried man.
This dude's attitude seems pretty genuine to me, I really don't know why some people call him cocky.
Anything other thoughts for me... DJ, “No, were good.” 😂
Try looking at the Glorified Donkey website and UA-cam channel if you want real laughs!
Erik's choice of question is bizarre at times
Conor Barry maybe the podcast will help his interviewing skills. But I think it actually comes down a power thing. Erik is more comfortable being the brightest light in the room. Aka when he’s on the course with his friends or random amateurs and dusty course pros and caddies. The pros will make anyone a little nervous and star struck.
@@roccodimiccio5199 I think this is the perfect response to the situation.
I also dont think he was getting a lot from DJ, so it didnt flow like a conversation, which always makes it easier.
He's just a no nonsense kind of guy. Not too wrapped up in himself, or in things that don't really matter. I can respect that. A simple man, if you will. Not simple in that he's not bright, but just nothing extra.
Adam Barnett he also happens to be not that bright lol
Charlie Wenz You don’t seem bright. All answers DJ gave were spot on and intelligent, just because you are used to things being presented to you in a nerdy way speaks more about you than DJ. He is mature person who is not into faked excitement.
"How much is a lesson with DJ?"
"A lot."
DJ seemed almost annoyed...but that's that let's move on....these Ace cams are a blast to watch!
DJ is like an old wise man. Few words to say, but most all are meaningful.
That was rough
If you're looking for interesting, try Glorified Donkey online or on UA-cam!
Loving these videos, keep up the great work man
DJ’s chill personality helps his game and mentality . He doesn’t let a bad round get to him . Something we all wish we could do . Great interview it brought his personality out a little more .
this is a great series Erik. Love DJ he's totally a gun slinger, dude has the best walk on tour
Crazy how far along you came Erik, seeing your progress is motivational. From the waste management, to vice and now your hanging out with professional golfers like it’s no biggie.
I have absolutely loved these videos and this series!! Really helps keep me entertained during this lockdown. Thanks Erik!
Glad you like them!
Super interesting. I always assumed DJ just had it and didn’t care about the technical aspects of the swing and practice. He’s a thoughtful guy of few words. Great video!
This was awesome. Best one yet. Love seeing DJ and his personality!! Awesome job team! #gunslinger
You can tell DJ does not like to be in the spotlight. Likeable guy, just bot incredibly comfortable on camera.
Andrew Liszewski is that what you think it is? I think it’s that he has zero issue with the camera. Like opposite of being uncomfortable he’s just acting totally normal which looks really weird on camera 😂
Fairway Fever could be? Who knows honestly. Unless you know DJ on a personal level it’d be hard to say.
talking to DJ is like trying to draw blood from a stone
I find it refreshing he doesn't fake it for appearances. He's just a real dude and I can appreciate that.
Padraig Power What do you mean? He answered all the questions intelligently and without any fake pretense
Mil Sneler ya but with one word answers no reasoning for his answers and he didn’t create a good conversation or video.
Check out Glorified Donkey if you want interesting perspectives on golf!
Haha yeah you could tell there was a difference in what he was expecting vs what DJ was saying
Love DJ. Love the way he goes about his golf!
I could listen to dj all day and watch him play he's just so laid back chilled dude and great player too
Had a smile on my face the hole vid...thats hole for hole in one. What a bloody legend.
I love this video so much bc it’s so obvious DJ is getting paid very well to do it... legend
The fact that you can get these guys to show up to play and chat is a testament at how much they like what your doing - and so do we :)
This awesome. Love that you you got Dustin on there
I'm feeling very uncomfortable at 0:20 - what is that walk? LOL
lmao
aaaaaannndddd...... go! lol
Dealing with about 30 to 40 people everyday, I've learnt a lot about human characters. DJ is just a chilled out guy who prefers small talk.
A lot of loners are like this. It's just part of their character and they know no different. Doesn't mean he's arrogant.
I can 100% say he is not an arrogant dude. Of all the tour pros I’ve ever met, he is on top ten least arrogant, just down to hang.
He's definitely not arrogant! There's tons of pros that are but DJ just goes about his business. Try tuning in to the Glorified Donkey website and UA-cam channel for some fun and serious golf stories!
low key feels a little uncomfortable
David Larger Golf high key cringe
lol they cut out the part where they were talking about focus and practice and erik says “oh you mean like using cocaine versus not using cocaine”
and DJ wanted to leave after. lol
@@andrewwolf4963 lol no way
I do love these videos, keep up the great work, Best wishes from Iceland the Niceland
His wedge swings literally are effortless, if you didnt know the club or distance youd think hed be short every shot. Such a fluid swing its unreal
D&J FITNESS & HEALTH co. ...an effortless 105 yard 60degree!
do a rory mcilroy one he will surely make one
DJ walks with the swaggiest swag to have ever swagged.
This comments underated! I always pictured him walking through saloon doors with a a 12 gauge.
MARIAS LAST!! SHES THE ONE WHO HOLED IT!! So glad. She’s the goat
Way to spoil it for people who haven't watched you moron
Dustin Johnson said one thing in this video and it totally changed my game. "releasing down the line". I worked on it for a week, 2 hours everyday, went out and now played 5 rounds with the "releasing down the line" and 4 things happened, smash factor went up, swing speed went up, accuracy went up and more importantly, I consistently scored 8 over per round. Considering I was avg. 16 strokes over par, I'm loving the game again. Thanks DJ
Wow what a cool result - he’s be happy to hear this. E
This is the one I have been waiting for!!! LET'S GOOO. Yellowstone is on Amazon Prime / Paramount network in case you all want to watch. 10/10
It's for sure 10/10 cowboy soap opera.
I love Yellowstone and the Glorified Donkey website and UA-cam channel!
Thanks for the content during quarantine!
There's so much to watch during these times for sure! If you're bored with watching instruction and old highlights, tune into Glorified Donkey online or on UA-cam. Good fresh takes on golf!
Man, such a chill dude.
The chemistry between these two...
That advice about focus during practice is absolute gold for sure.
DUDe at 3:02 when he tells him to release more on the target line and then he hits its so pure...
Haha. I love dj... I'm sure he absolutely loved having to do this
DJ seams like a really good guy , I would love to hang out with him for a day.
It was always going to be Maria with the Ace. Got it right on the first vid! Crazy!
DJ is such a boss I can't even control myself right now.
Always loved DJs demeanor and you gotta love the saunter hahah
Makes Erik look like a babbling idiot hahaha
Lol! (Asks about the DJ engraving)You don’t even care.”🤣
I'm impressed with Dustin Johnson!
Oh yesss I've been waiting on this for weeks!
I am a little let down seems like DJ only took like 10 swings and it was over
Keun Pruitt 24 but whos counting
@@KG66610 24 Combined, but yes I agree
He has a life
Lol true
Since the odds of making a hole-in-one are astronomical to begin with, I don't know what anyone was waiting to see! For something more interesting, tune in to the Glorified Donkey website and UA-cam channel
I gotta say DJ is my favorite Tour player , not just because of his stellar golf talent but his demeanor , another one of my favorites is from back in the day , John daly , they both are the Poker faced men of few words types , just my opinion thanks .
Even though he's obviously an elite physical athlete, it's amazing to see how strong his mental game is too. Unfazed, but focused
Great golfer! Charisma bypass!!!
Golf is just the right game for DJ s personality
Dudes the best man
“Remember to stay humble”
What’s a golf lesson with you cost”
Pause.....”a lot”
Dj makes it look easy!!!
Changed my opinion on DJ, loved it when you called him a "Gunslinger" 😅😅
My first hole in one was at a par 3 course when I was 13 as well. As you can tell my golf career is the EXACT same as Dustin’s haha
Dj is the man 👌
Explaining this stuff is annoying for DJ, what a class act for remaining so humble and chill. If you don't watch golf, having a calm demeanor is required of the sport
he's like a machine, it's crazy how consistent he is
Too bad his consistency in majors is inconsistent! I love seeing him in the mix and I'm disappointed when he's not in it! Try looking at Glorified Donkey online and on UA-cam for a mix of serious and nonsensical golf stories!
Now he has The Masters!
DJ such a king
He is soooo funny 🤣 😂
Dustin was in trouble when he was a teenager for robbery and buying ammunition for a gun that was eventually used in a murder; hence his look when EAL mentioned him being a gunslinger. Then the interview went downhill from there...
...Mood when you have to talk to EAL about golf but, Paulina texted you asking when you’d be home #betterplacestobe
Love the videos, but finally they remove the balls and fix divots throughout the video. That really bothered me because I felt that leaving them out there could cause the shot to end up not making it! I love this series and the European Tour 500 balls to make a hole in one. Keep it up!
We're all looking for anything golf these days and the Aces series is one of the good ones! Try checking out Glorified Donkey online and on UA-cam for an array of different golf stories, podcasts and videos!
Lets go!
You couldn’t wait to get out of there. You tried so hard to get him to open up and he was having none of it. Lol.
Ruthless Remix Erik came across like the parrot from Aladdin lol. No chance DJ melts to that.
He's just atype of guy that just wants to play his golf and go home, relax personality.
I always get this vibe from DJ and Brooks wishing they were a pro in a different sport but weren't good enough and settled for golf lol.
Exactly.. Its like golf's not quite macho or cool enough but there too good at it and make that much money off it...they just settle for it!!
Very interesting observation! Would DJ play basketball or volleyball? Brooks would be a football player or a Designated Hitter in baseball. You raise an interesting point. Think we'll tackle that idea on the Glorified Donkey website or on the Glorified Donkey UA-cam channel! Check it out!
Well done, Erik. I'm a fan of DJ. He's golf's answer to John Wayne and Johnny Cash rolled into one. With forearms like that, I bet he could shoot a .44 Magnum with ease, too.
Hahah
He’s pretty amazing when you think about it. Does all of that without getting oxygen to his brain.
I've often said, the dummer you are the better golfer you are! Why fill your brain with thoughts of anything but the shot in front of you! For more insight, check out Glorified Donkey online and on UA-cam!
Cool!
Aren’t you over hanging around tour people yet??? Btw, Jason Day is my new favorite person on earth 🌏.
He reminds me of me, likes to get on with the task in hand an not one for small talk. Top bloke.
richiem11 you must be a miserable person
@@MattyTheDon1414 no quite the opposite, always cheerful buddy.
richiem11 I’m fucking with you I’m the same way 🤣😂
DJ cleaned his club more in 6 minutes than I have in 6 months
DJ and John Rahm = most chill dudes on tour
Umm, not so sure about Rahm being that chilled...he's regularly losing his rag
He's so authentically stoic, lol....
Love
he's just a stoic guy. not sure why people dislike that. better to be quiet and imposing than loud and well...not imposing lol
This man is killing DJ’s vibe frfr
Did you poll a bunch of 6 year olds to come up with these questions?
If you're looking for serious and funny insight, go to the Glorified Donkey website and UA-cam channel! Golf from a caddie's view!
Closest so far as good as an ace
“And from there I’ve been okay.” Says as he’s been number one in the world forever
Why does Dustin Johnson remind me of Ben Hogan all of a sudden. That was epic.... #benhogangoat
Thanks for the lIke Erik.
I thought DJ would be a bit more cheery than that, he looked like he didn’t want to be there
Michael Gane He was bored by the nerd interviewing him
Mil Sneler lol ur an ass
Mil Sneler I think he showed no personality
Michael Gane I think he showed enough for the circumstances. He is not entertainer nor a clown. Bill Murray maybe more interesting to you, because he’s an old man acting like a five years old on the golf course.
Mil Sneler I sense that you may have a lot of anger going on here bud. Seems like he could have been a bit more cheery. I’m not asking him to turn into Jim Carey but it would be nice if he showed some sort of character
Probably the only pro that bring the towel to clean the club.
It took him a while but he seemed to warm up in the end, probably just shy!
Glad he won the Masters this year. He deserved it.
Is it just my eyes playing tricks on me or is DJ moving his head just before impact??😳🤔
Drink every time DJ says “y’know...”. You’ll be hammered in no time.
He's got a very good point. It's all about the misses. You'll never play 18 holes and hit all good shots so how you manage the missed shots is key.
Humble guy
Idk why the comments are blasting DJ. He’s always like this with that nonchalant attitude. I don’t think he minded being there
DJ is the Kimi Raikkonen of golf
DJ now has a masters in his belt.
He's a quiet one. Nothing wrong with that.
"your swing, it's not... it's definitely... you got a little bit of game" man, if he says that about Erik, I truly hope he never sees my swing.
