Enjoyed the video, but a sad experience for a child. I hope she is getting past being traumatized by this man. Thank you for sharing.
Is there any articles on this?
of course she won't. she may carry on with life, but this will always traumatize her.
@@americanmade-1 - Agreed😖. There’s probably no recovering from something like that. Hopefully there is moving on for her though😡😭…
@Gigacarrot2469 his name was Vincent Filwa search "the girl in the bunker" they made a documentary about it
@@americanmade-1she made a full recovery and is living a happy life.
I sincerely hope that poor girl got help that she needed to recover from this horrible experience. Great video. Thank you.
5:07 hope that helps but i also want her to be okay and cared for from this harsh act of a human being

Nauseating
She made a full recovery and is living a good life
Nice house... should be sold to someone who will enjoy it and take care of it...
@@buzzwaldron6195yeah I want it
I find it funny that people come on this comment thread just to bash the work BigBankz does if you don’t like it just don’t watch the video simple as! Also it’s well known in the urbex community that you never give out the location details due to laws etc. It’s clear this house was used by squatters for a while after it being abandoned being in the middle of nowhere they wouldn’t have been moved on quite so fast. Merry Christmas to all 👍🏻 Happy Holidays
So far, I have not seen anyone bashing, just people trying to leave a little constructive criticism. I don't think that is bad; it helps one improve and gives people more of what they would like to see.
@roseygirl1777 its bashing dont talk crap !
@@rachelburge2338 I hope you don't take offense, but please elaborate; which part of what I said was crap? The part I said constructive criticism or the part about where he left out information, such as what tragedy happened to his family? Oh, wait, I know when I said how much of a prison sentence did he get. Please tell me what part was bashing. Some people are so sensitive they don't recognize when people are trying to help improve their content. That is called being nice. I am sure I am not the only one with questions. I loved the video, but I wanted to share my thoughts in hopes that the UA-camr would take it into account., as I would and probably most people. That is how you make your channel grow. Give the people what they want. By the way, when I watched the video, I subscribed and gave him a thumbs-up. You're welcome.
If I ever start posting videos I would hope people would leave me constructive criticism.
We'll have him quit liemg to ppl and believe his bullshit
Carter, I’m so glad you’re back. Merry Christmas! Happy New Year
Such a strange house with so many little rooms. It seemed like it meandered on and on. That house had such a weird vibe.
Ive seen a few like this in rural areas such as this, it appears to be a former hunter's get away house. Esp with the basement, and mud room. There is a lot of land there to hunt, and the hunting is good in the south, so maybe the owner bought it and made it a family home before he lost his.
I just wonder where his family went or why they left. Such a strange place, that Bug gave me Ted Bundy vibes, he used them in his crime sprees.
So secluded in the country, so traumatic for that little girl. Hope she is okay from all this !! All the rooms are so broke up !! Thanks Big Bankz , great video !! Have a great Christmas 🌲!!
Good to see you Carter!! Wishing You & your Fam Merry Christmas & many Blessings for the New Year 🤗
I pray the little girl got the help she needed, and so sad that house could be a beautiful home.
Merry Christmas & a Very Happy New Year, per usual TY sooo much for this upload/adventure,shoutout to the family as well 🙏🏻✌🏻💕
Thanks for all the videos you put out for us. I appreciate all the work yall put into them. 👏 Do you ever feel any negative vibes or get creeped out when you enter certain locations? Happy holidays to everyone and hope yall have a healthy, positive new year! ✌️❤😊
Well 😂 I just got my answers lol yes u feel the off vibes I asked about! ✌️
Happy holidays to you as well. Hope 2024 is a great one for ya!
Thank you for sharing this video. I hope she found peace in her life ❤
Interesting video. I read up on this Filyaw fellow, who a lot of people think is being referred to as the kidnapper. Filyaw was an alcoholic who couldn't hold a job, and he kidnapped and raped a 14 year old girl for 10 days back in 2006, after which she was able to use his phone to text several people, which led to her rescue. This all took place in a primitive bunker he had built in the woods, not a house, and the bunker was blown up by authorities after the trial was over. Filyaw was sentenced to 423 years in jail and died there in 2021 at the age of 51. This wasn't Filyaw's house- he was a loser with no money and couldn't have afforded to buy a house. So maybe BigBankz is referring to someone else, or this is simply an interesting abandoned house without a dark history. Hope that adds some clarity.
Its just a made up story by the creator
Merry Christmas and Happy holidays to you and your family BigBankz and to everyone too.
I don't Think that was the girl Backpack, because that's evidence. Great abandoned house
Be surprised how many times cops leave evidence
Not really if she was found alive her testifying would be enough
I was thinking the same thing
yes, they would have taken anything that belonged to her.
The house may be overgrown on the outside but the inside of the house is suspiciously clean without any dust or debris that would signal a foreclosure. The fact also there is just a open door on the porch as his entrance with no signs of forced entry or broken windows inside the house makes me very skeptical. it may be a abandon house but not with the story it has, it's way to clean to be abandoned for 10+ years
Crazy.. I love exploring abandoned places but it makes it so much more awesome when there’s history behind the location. Great video and keep up the good work Mr. Bankz 🤙🏼
Thank you for new content BigBankz. Wishing you well and happy holidays!
It's so clean on the inside. I wonder if the yard was just never kept up, so the overgrowth makes it look like it's been abandoned longer?
Could have been a gorgeous home if set up properly. I can’t imagine having that much space after moving to a small house! You have the best job on Earth! My husband And I love to watch your videos! Blessings and Merry Christmas!
Recently found your videos. Love them! Thank you! An please always be safe u never know if someone dangerous is staying in one of these abandoned places
Great upload Bankz! Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I love your UA-cam channel.I always love looking at abandon homes and building.Keep up the great work.
Love your video.
Thank you for all the work you put into it.
Keep them coming.
Their so worth waiting for.
I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas 🎁🎁🎄🎄
Stay safe and well,
GOD BLESS YOU.❤❤
Yessir another chill explore!
The unknown room looks like a den,the item on the shelf next to the shank looks like an old Firestarter, uses flint to ignite. Thanks fir the interesting video. Cool house.
It was a pocket knife sharpener
I love your delivery as you walk through the house. Your voice is very engaging and kind. I find it very well done the way you scan the area as you walk through and then have the slow playback of the area with a still camera. The drone footage is great as well.
As someone who loves a good story, I wish you would cover all the basic questions “who?” “what” “where” and “when”
Who is the perpetrator?
Where is this? Even simply City and State would be awesome.
When? Either when was the house abandoned or when did his family die? Or how long did he keep her in the house?
Even when going to locations without this dark history, it really helps people stay engaged when basic questions are addressed and answered. Just my opinion. Continue your awesome work. Thx
I agree I would wanna know where this is. I Iive in the Deep South. (Southern Alabama) and it looks like Alabama tbh lol
So happy you're on again! Can't wait for this one !
I love your content! Keep up the great work!
I do believe that's a den? Being as there was a formal living room? I'm 57 and when I was younger we lived in a house that had formal living room and a den. Love the video's.
Thanks for sharing this timely information
i love how these places are stuck in time
Welcome back Bankz, you sure lnow how the find these locations. This one definitely had the creepy vibes. Poor kid, that's terrible, I hope that jerk is in prison for the rest of his miserable life. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
i can agree with the end but i also can disagree in a way too, the man lost his entire family and it probably was the breaking point of his mental health and his entire life which caused him to kidnap the girl in spite of the loss of his family, it’s a sad sad world we live in i feel sympathy for him but i also hope he rots for his crime
@@ipkaathat’s no fucking excuse, I’ve lost so many people, and I can’t even THINK about doing that. The things he did to her are unforgivable, and have not even a SCRAP of justification.
@@NCSGaming15 it’s not an excuse by any means and as i said i hope he rots for his crimes, but the loss of the mind can cause you to the most extreme things to the point you aren’t even aware of your own doings, it’s like a mental patient wiping shit all over their walls and losing the plot, i’m not justifying his actions but i feel petty for the loss of his family and what caused him to be such an evil being, after all we are all human, and you should learn to accept that. seek peace and forgiveness in god and you shall recieve
Agree
glad to see you back i saw an attic door above your head, by the bedroom hall. i would have checked it out you never know whats there
Good morning Carter and Merry Christmas 🎄🎁. So glad them found her and I hope she’s doing well. Yes a little creepy. I really enjoy watching your videos you do amazing work. Take care and have a blessed day 🎄
I could live there no problem and like the layout. The vacant part of the living room could be a space for the kid's to play or hang out.Ideal for a family with a few dogs and a cat.🐕😊🐈
I really like his videos he actually shows a lot more than any other utuber doing it
I love your videos. What creeped me out the most in this house, besides the basement is the chair with table in front of the tv. I can imagine he sat there watching the the lil girl in the basement on cctv. There is place for the tv in the living room on the fireplace mantle, so thats why i get that vibe where the tv is. Gives me the heebie jeebies. And the dvd of The Strangers in there...eeeek!
What TV?
Or he was obsessively watching the news.
Yes...probably watched her from the little tiny TV that was on the floor in the corner of the room where he found the stranger dvd. So creepy...
No dust. Fresh vacuum. Clean litter box & scoop. Not to mention! The police wouldn't have left the backpack (that's spotless from how long ago?) looks more like ppl are squatting or renovating
There was lots of dust, even cobwebs…
That room that you didn’t know what it was is probably a playroom
Maybe space for a pool table.
It was probably a den. Houses in that time period commonly had a more formal living room, a dining room & a den, which is a less formal living space.
Love your work. Such a sad strange place good job
Hello BigBankz 🙋🏽. Merry Christmas to you and your Family and Friends ✝️🎄🎄🎄
The cat litter box and scoop are new and sand looks pretty clean too
The thing you picked up after the shank is a file for sharpening the teeth on a chainsaw.
It's totally out of place and weird, but somehow fitting for this house lol
The mostly empty room with the floral couch was most likely set aside as a play area for kids. Considering the clutter of the lounge, it stands out. But, lots of floorspace for toys, etc.
I guessed wrong then.
@@therealz360z7 what did you think it was? I had to do a double take on the file because usually they are longer, but the configuration is unmistakable.
I love your videos! Keep it up!! Take care guys and God bless you!!
Another great explore with you I am glad the girl was found but I think there are a few spooks there thanks for letting me tag along I love exploring old houses too.
Merry Christmas 🎅🎄

Thanks Bigbankz for alk the videos you put out, I really enjoy them and I hope to do some exploring on my own, do you have any advice?

Wow another great exploration!
Wish he would add the articles to back these stories of the places
The orange tool is a knife sharpener and fire starter... The hooked ends sharpen the blade and you strike the blade against the black strips and it creates sparks for a fire...
Merry Christmas to you and yours
Merry Christmas and get well soon
That extra room with the wagon wheel chandelier (very popular "country" light fixture in the 70s) would have been the formal dining room.
So I hate to be this person but, the backpack I highly doubt was the little girls, as that would be some pretty important evidence and obvious right in the open the cops would have grabbed. Very interesting spot to have explored though! Good vid overall!
Yeah I was thinking that too but it’s also possible that the guy tried to hide it to lower the charges/ prison sentence or it also could be like you said just a backpack that anyone could have placed there
100% wrong. She was found alive and healthy. Vincent filwa was already a wanted man and this just finalized his fate. He died in prison in 2018
Hello Big Bankz have a great holiday
hi Big Bankz nice video good to hear about the story of the place it is sad that this man did that to the girl i am glad he went to prison the house looked a little creepy 😱😱 and a little spooky hope you was safe out there 🙏🙏🙏 like to wish happy holidays you do a great job on your videos ❤️ you thanks for sharing
Down south most houses have a “family” room. Where they hung out to watch tv and chill this saving the living room for a more formal setting
Lol the mirrored wall & wood paneling
First time watching your video.... & very entertaining you got yourself a new subscriber
Happy holidays everyone!!!! Make it nothing but Merry and never stop moving forward!!!
The carpet in the room with the fireplace is exactly what my brother had installed in his house late 1970's.
ty so much. The music on the end is so nice, what is it ? wish you a merry Chrismas and stay well .Greetings from germany
I feel horrible for saying this but I love this. The country living I absolutely love The house is interesting and the freaking carpet brings back some memories of way back when for me... 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️...
Thank God child is alive and well and even knowing what went on in that house makes it ultra creepy and cold dark 😢
They put a little table to eat in the living area. I believe that room is the dinner area where the light is placed a dinner table should go under it I believe maybe they put that little rating table in the living area so everyone can be together if they are eating or not
I love big banks!!❤
Welcome bank Merry Christmas
It’s funny the house has a mix of old and kinda up to date. Some one is or has been living there. What year did this house become abandoned? And were is it located?
Is there any background as to what happened to his family? He may have just lost it if they all died? 🤷♀
Everyone is liking this but no comment 😂 I’m wondering the same thing I can’t find anything
@@oscarpatton4336I wish he’d of said the persons name because it leaves just about everyone clueless on who the guy was
This house is a complete enigma. I usually like to watch these and then doodle out the layout of each house. But I can definitely say I've never seen one set up like this.
My guess is that that back room that you don't know what it is, is just kind of a entryway. Perhaps informal entryway. And the one you came in would have been the one that they went in and out of while attending to farm animals or something. That way the nice dining area and seating area are beyond the kitchen and you don't need to go in that direction if you're not entertaining. But it also looked to me like it might be an office.
I am completely flabbergasted by the bedrooms. That one big master bedroom upstairs and no ensuite. But the smaller bedroom, ensuite. Downstairs whole second living quarter. Usually not that rare. A lot of people rent out or have their adult children stay with them nowadays. However it almost feels like he had tried to separate it out into more than just those two living spaces. And yet didn't really consider that each one may be needed a washer and dryer space of their own.
I'd like to know if one of his kids was into dancing. Because wall that is just covered in big mirrors like that is usually for some kind of dance rehearsal.
Interesting video. Who would of thought!!?? Thanks and keep at it.
12:48 that is a Gerber Bear Grylls 31-001270 Field Sharpener, it's used to sharpen knifes, mostly used for bush craft.
Considering it's been abandoned for so long, it looks pretty clean
Good Job Guys!
Just love the music!!! Awesome
"This is a shank" as he puts his fingerprints on it, lol. The thing next to it appears to be a knife sharpener
It is a knife sharpener. I have one like it.
Sorry I'm late. I've been sick. Hi Big Bankz and everyone.
Good video but yet sad. I hope the girl is now ok.as always love from Fairview
House Is Big surprised no one has bought the place. So much potential
If you ever make it up to western Massachusetts I’d recommend 333 S Main St, Lanesborough, MA it’s been abandoned since 2006.
If you’re going to tell us the history give the people names of who owned the house
Alll i can say is WOW!!!
At 1 TIME that place no doubt was Beautiful, Lot's of Tree's, Flowers, the sound of Children playing etc.
I believe the 1sr larfe Room, was 4 large Dining area table, chairs
It’s very possible that the fire place was the main source of heat for the house. Probably why the couches were huddled up in front of the fireplace.
We had one of them same ugly chandeliers in an old 1972 trailer house we lived in.
Love your videos! Hope you feel better soon!
First, I appreciate your videos and the effort to share these old homes with all of us. I'm quite hooked, tbh. But there are obvious problems that arise in some of these videos that hurt your credibility as a storyteller. If a serious crime were committed in this home, do you really think property such as a backpack belonging to the victim would not have been collected as states evidence? Just be careful in how you paint your pictures. Sometimes saying less says more.
@bryanrapp6541 Exactly
Exactly
I thought the same thing, especially because backpack looks new!
That was clearly staged, hes been caught lying in a ton of shit. Just like the “cartel mansion” that belonged to the owner of penzoil lmao 😂
I just said the same thing to my girl…
Wow the whole house gives me the creeps. Yikes 😳
Missed most of this one, darnit.❤
Very sad story. I hope the girl is doing ok. I like the music at the end.
I hope the girl has gotten the help she needs, thank you for showing us the insights into the life of a kidnapper, thank your girlfriend ofr us as well for finding the place and thank you for going through with it even though you weren't feeling well. I hope you feel better soon.
The thing after the shank that you asked about is a box cutter, my hubby calls them a knife or box knife, lol he always confuses me when he asks because I'm thinking a knife knife not a box cutter 😂. I haven't watched the whole thing but I'm forgetful so I had to answer your question real quick, I'll add comments to my post if I feel the need lol
I was ok until I saw where she was held, I was thinking yay, she's safe, she's going to grow up and live to tell the tale but then I saw it and got instantly shut down. I really hope this girl is getting help and is ok mentally, emotionally and physically. It's sad 😢 I couldn't imagine being held in a house that ahs all those rooms and being kept in the scariest place in it 😢 I can only hope there was no physical abuse because the emotional trauma would be enough to deal with let alone physical as well. I wouldn't have been able to do this without completely breaking down 😢 praying for her and her family
Bro the thing he called a shank was not a box cutter… it was a shank simple as that lol and if you don’t know what those are they’re simple makeshift knives that are most commonly made by prisoners but can be made by anyone who needs a knife
@@lamantonyshyn1019 first....I am not a bro...second if you read my comment I clearly say the thing after the shank that he asked what it was,is a box cutter.
@@lamantonyshyn1019 and yes, I know what a shank is. Next time try rereading before you jump down someone's throat
it was a knife sharpening tool.@@teresascrochetandanimals
Glad to see you back. I love your videos but I learned my my lesson about sharing any personal information with the other viewers. I won't be doing that again.
Merry Christmas
The little thing you picked up after the shank, is a sharpener for knives and also chain saw chains 🤙
There wouldn't be anything left behind that blanket. If it was for the girl the police would have taken it for evidence. There wouldn't be anything left behind.
Omg I can’t wait for this one. Ugh we have to wait 13 hours!!!!!!
