Lmao 🤣 your story resonates my own military story in the beginning Battle I ended up serving two branches I did two years active Navy first from 94 til 96 came out screwed around a bit then went back in but into the Army from 97 til 01 12B 21 Bravo reclass

I rushed right into military after high school was out in a month Sent to a ship that stayed deployed over seas called the USS Scott DDG 995 also known as the HotShot

As a former 12B, and a military brat, grew up overseas, I knew what it was to be in countries where I was an outsider, making that transition to the ARMY easy for me. But you’ll never know the deep impact of the brotherhood formed being combat arms, and living that soldier life. As a 12B the IED were my greatest fear, EOD did a lot, but the engineers did the vast majority of responses to IED, and the unnerving feeling of being out there knowing the trigger guy is possibly watching you, and could’ve set it off at anytime.
We go do it because our brothers were in danger, and whatever we could do to prevent that cowardly attack from happening.
Sappers lead the way!!!
