18:12 "We talk about ideas." YES. I've told my clients I don't care to hear their revenue goals. (I've noticed talking about wishful revenue gives people an immediate, short-term dopamine boost that doesn't last, and the ones who focus more on money vs audience are the ones who are less likely to follow through with execution.) What I care about is what they're going to do to get there and what problems they're solving for their audience. The money will absolutely come if we just solve the right problems for the right people and are consistent with our strategy. The conversations look different with a curiosity-based approach.
"Does complacency come with age?" If anything, I've gotten MORE determined as I've gotten older because I've tapped into a sense of purpose and meaning, and I know I won't live forever and have a desire to do everything I can to get closer to realizing my purpose (even though I know I'll never arrive). I understand that people feel beaten down by life, feel lost, and get complacent, though. It's hard out there.

Amazing editing and amazing story. Loving all your work!
This man is a master of the world. He wants to help people as a main life objective. He seems humble. He's ready for challenge. He's empathetic. His energy is warm towards all ages, ethnic backgrounds, etc. He looks exceptionally strong physically and has obviously mastered so many battles both mentally and physically. Like holy moly😮😊❤
I just started seeing him in these UA-cam podcasts etc the other day and can't stop watching him, because he HAS HEART❤
This needs more views

Jocko is such a savage he slams revolving doors
18:12 "We talk about ideas."
YES. I've told my clients I don't care to hear their revenue goals. (I've noticed talking about wishful revenue gives people an immediate, short-term dopamine boost that doesn't last, and the ones who focus more on money vs audience are the ones who are less likely to follow through with execution.)
What I care about is what they're going to do to get there and what problems they're solving for their audience. The money will absolutely come if we just solve the right problems for the right people and are consistent with our strategy.
The conversations look different with a curiosity-based approach.
Jocko Sir, has always been my inspiration and will always be, he's the voice in my head everyday 🙏!
Great video, great man, great lessons! Discipline equals FREEDOM! Thank you Jocko, you inspire me every day.
I listen to and learn from these warriors, so dang grateful 🙏💯
"Does complacency come with age?" If anything, I've gotten MORE determined as I've gotten older because I've tapped into a sense of purpose and meaning, and I know I won't live forever and have a desire to do everything I can to get closer to realizing my purpose (even though I know I'll never arrive).
I understand that people feel beaten down by life, feel lost, and get complacent, though. It's hard out there.
