Jack up the wheels a little bit off the ground. Heck they don’t even have to be off the ground. Just jack up the car just right before the wheels come off the ground, and then those bolts will come off way easier.
So many UA-camrs work for ten minutes and talk for twenty minutes. You young man are making the kind of videos that keep me coming back for more. Thank you.
Dear fordnut... 👍👌👏 You are absolutely right, Sir! I stopped watching Puddin's fab shop some time ago and long before that VGG. They think they're funny but all they do is making the same bad jokes over and over again and additionally making fools out of themselves. I simply don't let them steal my time any longer. If you have seen some VGG videos, you've seen it all because it's always the same. Largely overrated channel. I don't count in Sleeperdude but unfortunately the whole family are getting less understandable with every video (talking flat, through the nose, sounding like chewing gum while talking, weird dialect pronunciation, omitting letters or even endings). Although I love 2 of their channels, I fear that I have to quit watching in the future because I simply don't like to have to concentrate so hard (often subtitles can't understand them either). I highly recommend NNKH. Best regards, luck and health in particular.
My first car was an 85 s10 blazer with the 2.8. Got it for 2500 bucks. All I ever fixed was the vacuum lines and one of the windows fell out of the track and eventually shattered. If I tried to find one in half the same shape it probably be 15-20k now. 15 years ago some drunk ran me off the road, she jumped a ditch and slammed into a tree 65mph. Took it like a champ for her final ride😢. Glad to see someone showing some love to one😊
Love these videos you're making -- Every broken tool, every snapped bolt, every tipped over bucket of fluid... I feel each one in my core because we've all done it 😂
wish i have a friend who is into mechanic i wanna work with someone ,working alone makes me feel detached interaction and sharing experience with people makes it way more fun
What a great channel! Fantastic editing and really appreciate that you don't edit out any goofs! That helps all of us in the learning process. Definitely subscribed
Sterling work there. I think my head would have exploded with all those vacuum hoses. Very impressed with how you approach your jobs. Great viewing and look forward to keeping up with the new instalments.

Well I got to say I've seen this guy a couple times and I really enjoy it you know there's no talking no BS just simply just working I think this video is that he's got or relaxing very good job Simon I'll tell you what if you was here in Texas we could get something going and turn some vehicles and make us some money keep up the good work brother you doing fine
I tried to turn on captions but they wouldn't work. Still a great video. Ford emissions back then were crazy but you can have your Chevys. Thanks Simon.
I took a 83 Blazer built it from the ground up new every thing well rebuilt and painted it. That 2.8 gave me 30 mpg highway. I should of never got rid of it.
Hi Simon! Greetings from Italy! Very nice work, very nice vehicles. I love your attitude!!! One question: what is the cleaning spray you liberally use on all sorts of components, like carburettors and transmissions? Thanks for the info.
Чтобы разбираться в технике, нужны специальные знания. Я не думаю что этому можно научиться по книге или смотря видео в интернете. Но парень молодец,чинит и ретро и современные авто.
Great editing and awesome channel, but dude, please wear eye protection. Especially 1:20 that made me cringe. I know it's inconvenient, they fog up and get in the way but it's not worth losing your vision at your age. I had a close call doing something similar myself, shrapnel would've been 1 inch closer I'd be out an eye. Wear it before you realize you needed it!
I had an two S-10s an S-15 GMC and then an S-10 Blazer this that one! Only problem I had was with the Blazer. I was driving in town and looked at the hood and the paint was bubbling up! I pulled off to the side raised the hood and bam I had a raging fire!!!! Totaled the S-10 not sure WTH happened?
Holy crap man, go over to Farm Fleet and get a cylinder of MAPP gas and heat that thing up. No sense in braking tools for things that need to be heated up Just saying

You are a pretty good mechanic and an exceptional film maker!
Just discovered your channel. Its so good. Way better than TV. Thank you, its all a joy to watch and so much to learn. Really cool.✌️
Awsome!!!
And the hero of the day is….the 1/2” breaker bar!!
So glad I found your channel - truly awesome content. Keep at it! 👍👍

That's a shame! I had my first car totaled because of someone else's mistake too. Thanks for enjoying the video.
@@SimonFordman what was your first car

Exactly! I’m so sick of hearing people talk, I’ve learned a lot from these videos just watching.
That trick also works great on exaust manifold bolts, they always break off lol❤
Super cool, don't know how You remember how to assemble carburetors, like in the first video,so much linkage, very talented work bro.
What a great channel! Fantastic editing and really appreciate that you don't edit out any goofs! That helps all of us in the learning process. Definitely subscribed
Love the trick on the broken bolt - I’ll be using that in the future. Just never had much luck with E-Z outs

Impressive! Those vacuum hoses, are no easy task🤜🏾🤛🏽
You're a very talented, resorfull, hardworking you man. Great job.
These cars are like Lego, so easy to take apart with no bs or special tools. More fords, do a bronco ❤

I tried to turn on captions but they wouldn't work. Still a great video. Ford emissions back then were crazy but you can have your Chevys. Thanks Simon.
Great Video. Great little truck. Keep up the good work sir.
Es un gusto ver cómo hace las reparaciones, aún cuando se presenta algún inconveniente y como lo resuelve.. excelente.. 👍
Torque wrench as a breaker bar, noooo!!!! ❤
Those were the days.
Awsome s 10 blazer! Dont see these very often! Right on! Thank god that breaker bar did it! Lol❤
I use a cheap caliper retraction tool and a seal/bearing driver kit, but your solution is cheaper and seems to work out fine.
I took a 83 Blazer built it from the ground up new every thing well rebuilt and painted it. That 2.8 gave me 30 mpg highway. I should of never got rid of it.
I shouted out when your funnel was tipping over, but you didn't hear me...
Pretty solid repairs!
14:22............good god!!! 😂😂 I'm glad I parked my Silverado during the winters when I lived up there!!
Questo è l'unico canale u.s.a che guardo volentieri perché non continua a parlare sul video. Bravo buon lavoro. Grazie.
Excellent film making and automotive skills, watching your videos are awesome

You really need to get a bigger impact wrench my man.
Did you count the number of vacuum lines you replaced? That's wild! Thanks for the chill video.
GM Performance offered a 3.4 HT replacement crate engine for this truck for a while. Would've been a good upgrade if the engine developed problems.
nice watch
ПРИЯТНО СМОТРЕТЬ НА РАБОТУ!
Thanks for not yapping on. That truck bed at O'Reilly's made me laugh.
Freaking awesome video's, love them!

Great upload!!! 🙏🏼🤟

3/4 inch socket sets are cheep at HF.
У Вас хорошо получается! Привет с Украины!
lmao @ 14:21 ... that's your next project
👍
عالی
👍👌👏
Don't mean to be overly critical, but I've always heard you shouldn't use a torque wrench to loosen bolts. Any reason you don't use a breaker bar?
You're right. I started using a breaker bar shortly after these early videos.
Bro I was watching the way you did the rear end and i saw that you were missing the other spider gear
i know those bearing hub nuts... they sieze up..
You really need a bigger impact, it would make your life easier in certain instances rather than break your back.
14:21 LOL

So why cant we comment?
You shouldn't use a carpenter's hammer for this work.
Softer metal hammer will be kinder.
