I'M BACK FROM VACATION with a bang! Which airlines do you refuse to fly?
Indonesian airlines
Nonstop Dan Easy! RYANAIR
I would absolutely try to avoid Turkish Airlines. Friends of me were stuck at IST for 24 hours without food and it wasn’t even their fault.
Nonstop Dan spirit
Turkish, Spirit, *RYANAIR!*
The footage of you posing for your thumbnail was hilarious 😂
NYC Flyer behind the scenes😉
NYC Flyer Especially as the commentary says that I will probably never use
Hey Dan! İm from Turkey and i sometimes I fly pegasus but we prefer Turkish airlines:)
NightShadeX :)
there's a difference u know,smh
Hey, I'm supposed to travel to turkia in december and we picked Pegasus Airlines, but so far the reviews are terrible and a plane crashed in january. Is it safe to fly pegasus airlines rn? Im kinda concerned you know, I dont want to die nor get scammed XS
Pegasus is cheap and i've flown with pegasus like 5 6 times, all of them were good flights. You get what you paid for
We prefeer mostly Anadolu Jet and SunExpress. I cant even fly with the flag carrier of my own country because of the expense.
Pegasus isn’t bad at all, it was actually first set up by Aer Lingus which often supported start ups around the world back in the 80s and 90s thanks to its in-house reservation systems and experienced management teams.
They are luxury compared to freebird sardine comes to mind crap airline
So I've flown Vueling twice now. It's a basic airline, but I never had any issues. Yes, the leg room is tight and I'm 6'4, but I've been able to purchase the seat middle seat for a really low cost. And when flying with a friend, its no worse then any other European "Business" class. Service has always been friendly. So I'd still say give it a shot.
I know you might think Vueling is good but both times I’ve flown with them, I’ve have had issue with them on the way back. The first time, the flight became delayed at Rome, and missed the time slot so ended up waiting just under 3 hours on a hot plane in summer weather and then a passenger was kicked off the flight because he got so frustrated and started shouting at everyone.
The second time I went back from Florence, the flight couldn’t take off with everyone due to the wind so they only took 85 of 150 of us otherwise the plane would be too heavy to take off on a short runway, luckily I was included in flying back due to being one of the first 85 to check in. Then when we arrived, it turned out that no luggage was put on the flight to lower the weight and allow as many people as possible on the return flight but they didn’t tell us before so we were left waiting ages at Gatwick for no luggage.
Both experiences were bad.
Glad you had a good experience........good to know which of these smaller carriers are worth flying on!
The only time I flew with Pegasus a few years ago was pretty bad. They forgot to tag my trolley (but fortunately I had a tracker inside it). When we landed and my stuff wasn't on the conveyor, we reported it to them and they did absolutely nothing. After 2 weeks we didn't get anything from them (Not a single Email). The trolley moved airports for another week, but we had enough. We tracked it and saw it was in Bern airport (Switzerland). We contacted the airport and 2 girls went through all the lost luggage there (I Still Thank You!) until they found mine and sent it to my country and the airport services sent it to my house. The airline did nothing' they don't care!
i'm flying with pegasus soon from helsinki to antalaya and honestly i was a bit hesitant about flying with them, knowing their past accidents. but honestly your video made me feel more at ease, knowing i'll be safw flying with them.
This is about fucking boeing
"Sweetest words known to man: you were right, I was wrong." Very funny Dan!
Love watching ur videos. From Scotland!! 🏴
Matthew Quinn sane bro
IT's a big person who can admit when he is wrong. Glad you enjoyed the trip
Kathleen Bell thanks Kathleen!
as the matter in fact, I love flying, thanks for sharing Dan
This is literally me on Ryanair 😂😂- except it is never good
💀💀💀
Ryan air is ok at least no multiple crashes lol
Except Ryanair has probably the healthiest safety culture in Europe and their crew training is just incredible. Have you seen how many training centers they have?? It's insane.
Dan ... I too share your sweet tooth 👍🏻. FYI ... British Air also caters by DO & CO. I can’t remember when they switched over ... maybe March of this year? Since then, food services have substantially improved 👍🏻
Just so you know..
British Airways now caters M & S
Aldo Jaworski that is only in Europe. I think Do and Co is on long haul.
@@kolmargoldstein1416 British Airways is gradually rolling out the Do and Co catering for all long-haul routes from London Heathrow. This is expected to be completed by March 2020 when the new Do and Co catering facility is constructed at Heathrow. M & S provides the catering available for purchase in economy class on European routes, while Do and Co caters the Club Europe cabin.
@@kolmargoldstein1416..Yes you are right. I didn't think!!!
Rob Youngquist well thank god for that as when I flew them it was M and S and it was crap !!!
Now I know why you're scared flying Pegasus...👍
Why
My husband and I flew Pegasus to Istanbul a couple of years ago, and they were quite acceptable for a budget airline. What was not so great was landing at Sabiha Gökçen airport. It took us three hours on a shuttlebus to get to the old city.
From SAW airport to old Istanbul is quite long way, depending on the time, you might get caught the traffic jam :(
The old city is on the European side, perhaps you should have flown to İstanbul Airport on that one as it would be quicker using the motorways into İstanbul from the west and to the old city. However by going to Sabiha-Gökçen and travelling across İstanbul to the other side through the city in traffic isn’t ideal. This is why I fly to IST to European side to see some family and SAW to see my family on the Asian side of İstanbul.
You should do a first class week like you did with economy week. If you like this idea you should compare
(QATAR,ETIHAD,EMIRATES)
Virgin Atlantic
Gulf air, Saudia, Oman air
I flew Air Manas (Pegasus' sister airline in Kyrgyzstan) and was very happy with the experience (aside from 1 drunk passenger). The fact it was so easy and cheap to preorder meals, change to a flexible ticket etc plus a comfy plane and friendly service all added up to a good experience.
Why name is Manas 🤨🤨🤨🤨
Would you still fly Pegasus after yesterday’s crash landing?
I have been watching many reviewers over the past year and I must say you are my favourite. I love that you are honest and informative. Even when you wrote your warning on Qatar after giving them glowing reviews I loved that honesty and I believe people should be aware of all downsides.
The channel name change really worked well, I can't even remember what the old name was now. Great video 👍✈️
The old one was Dantorp Aviation, I believe. But yes, the new name is awesome!
As a proud Turk, I always fly Pegasus to Mersin or fly Turkish airlines. It’s a pretty good airline
I am from Ankara and I fly with pegasus a lot, because it is most of the time the best value with an average comfort level. (Once I paid for Istanbul to Rome roundtrip just 60 euros.) Also most of their aircraft are new (not 737s but the A320neos) All in all I definitely would recommend pegasus on medium to short haul flights. Also thank you Dan for all of the effort and good work you put on your videos! Safe flights!
good luck paying 60 euros for a flight now lmao
it is possible now lol. I can go from the uk to place like barcelona or paris for £40@@BiggestNoodle
I’ve flown on Pegasus and it was AMAZING
"The view from the airport is stunning." I've been there many times. It's in the middle of nowhere. There's absolutely nothing to see.
Nothing is also something, compared to other countrys.
The view is wow.
Love it.
I flew Pegasus once time the flight was normal bit the cheek-in was messed up.we were go at 02:00 to Esenboğa int. Airport .(because the Pegasus's warnings.I mean we got messages 1day ago the flight.like : go to airport 3 hours before the flight)
We came to airport and go to cheek-in desk but the problem about it is, we wait at desk 1 hour to came the Pegasus's cheek-in employee . the other things are normal because i'm 1.60 and the flight was 1h.
Note: my ranks are it's
Seat:7/10 Seat are not well-padded
Legroom:10/10 because i'm 1.60
The crew : 7/10
Landing: 8/10 landing was normal
(Sorry for bad grammer )
bad english
@@mm_504 he said sorry for bad gr a mmer
i flew on pegasus from adana to bodrum turkey and the seats were different they were grey and the legroom was less but it was still great even during corona
Impressive, but I dare you try AirMalta a320 economy
I have flown Pegasus and the service has always been good. The only thing is their Istanbul hub is really crowded during their evening flight bank.
Pgs is a very cheap airline like you can fly from istanbul to madrid for less than 80 us dollar
Cheap? Its not even cheap lol 80 us isn’t right what you’re saying
The view is wow.
Love it.
I just want to say: “Great content Dan” 🙌🏻 Love the videos 🔥🔥
There was a Pegasus crash at IST today - early reports are that there were no fatalities. TC-CPR was not involved, sounds like it might have been TC-IZK (a B737-800 model.)
Omg yay turkey, also, Im gonna be flying Pegasus from Lyon to Istanbul saw airport
Dont go to saw , its an old airport and pegasus isnt the best. Trye atlas global or Turkish airlines and go to Istanbul new airport , u will be amazed of how beautiful the airport is.
Latif Ahmed i went to the new airport a few weeks ago and saw a few weeks ago, from samsun- to saw- then 2 day lay over, then istanbul new airport-toronto. Im coming to saw because its smaller and closer to the place im going, the new airport is nice but huge and far from istanbul so
Also yeah i dont like pegasus but thats the only airline from lyon- to saw
So happy to see my country jordan in one of your videos 🇯🇴 ❤
Now this looks beautiful! God I have way more to do than I could realize.
If you like rose flavour try "Hamdard Rooh-afza" Rose flavour drink in India, whenever you visit the country.
Fun fact when the airline appeared for the first time back in 1990 i was like i will never fly this and here i am as a first officer on their B737😂😂😂
Pegasus is a good budget airline and it has the best leg room i noticed in a budget airline which was soo good..and it's food is amazing..i ordered a kebab and was soo tasty
I took pegasus from istanbul to izmir...and overall was a good experience😊😊😊
ALI THE BOTTLE FLIPPER glad you had a good flight!
I always enjoy being proved wrong... :)
It makes a nice change from saying "I told you so..."
:)
Nice big comfortable seats unlike the crap they are building today. Nice vid, keep it up.
I didn't actually think you'd do this! Props to you Dan
I have flew on the Pegasus from Istanbul to Trabzon Comfortable
Turkish airlines has better service and food, and in general better planes. These budget airlines don’t care as much about service, and more about getting you to your destination.
Thumbs up for Amman, Jordan 🇯🇴 ❤️ my hometown
I’ve flown pegasus way too much and ı don’t have a single bad experience
Derin Tosun Same, I have also never Got a bad experience with Them.
Thank you so much for fixing your audio! I do enjoy your videos; and I certainly loved this one!
I look forward to watch this. Xx. Saving it for later when I'm awake lol
Thanks for your awesome and helpful reviews, Dan. Your channel is my favorite.
Always like before you watch
That's what I do.
Hadi Aloussi: Because you know Dan has great content, and although we never know what to expect its always fun video 👍
Airlines, like restaurants, are worth giving another try at intervals.
Hey Dan! I want you to try Middle East Airlines, I’m sure you will enjoy the legroom! Some of the planes also have foot rest!!!
Oh YES MEA so classy !
Yeps MEA is Tha Best... Love from Lebanon❤️🇱🇧
By the way, in Turkey Pegasus is not very good if you will return from there because sometimes even you don't pass the weight limit, depending on your package they charge a lot of money and water is even very expensive so Turkish Airlines is much better I think
Right
Love from Oman ❤️❤️
The airplane Pegasus from Madrid to Istanbul and Istanbul to Dubai is completely different and isn’t good! Different airplanes
Please try Turkish Airlines' new B787-9
I lived in Ankara for 6 months! I love that place! And Pegasus isn't so bad!
I’m Turkish, I like Pegasus however there’s no entertainment but turkish airlines is better 😍
:)
Yemin et
bu daha ucuz en azından
People think I look Turkish lol
Yea
Aircraft registration -CPR plus guy walking under wing with neck brace: too funny!
Fly on TK 787 please love from Turkey ;)
I was one of those people who commented on your previous video and did not agree with you. Im so glad u gave them a chance and made this video! My cousin is a cabin crew on Pegasus and I am hopefully becoming one too in the near future. I fly them regularly from Amsterdam and domestically in Turkey and I am really pleased with them. They have the youngest fleet in Turkey and they are known as a digital airline with a brand that always refreshes itself and the food is good! I like the chicken sandwich especially.
I just came back from Jordan couple hours ago

I guess it’s time to try Air Koryo next?
7:05 'To be honest i think this looks delicious' I dont think it looks delicious.....
Hi Dan, thank you for sharing your airline experiences, it is so helpful in choosing which one to fly. I usually fly Jetblue cause they have direct flights to Florida from New England, and they're pretty reliable.
I fly Pegasus from Dubai to North Cyprus via Turkey and it is fairly comfortable journey. Obviously, i could take Emirates to Larnaca, but thats about 5x more expensive. Pegasus is good value for money and not bad at all.
I’m so glad you got 5000 likes so we could enjoy this awesome video! Thank you Dan, and as always I look forward to your next vid!❤️👍✈️
Amazing video mate... I can see why I don’t Pegasus there seats are like Ryanair😂😂... Well Done...👍🏻👌🏻
Not really
5 Minute Air Shows I was joking
5 Minute Air Shows 6 other people agree with me
Thank you dude everytime i watch your videos it always make my days even better lol lmfao yolo & i know you put alot of effort in it .
"Pegasus is a great airline"
eSeNbO*g*AAAA ahhahah As a Turk it was so funny :)))
I did that now i have 100 plus for blood sugar and im only 14 year old
Another fantastic video!! Well done!!
Hi I refuse to fly any American carriers except for jet blue.
Micah Byron honestly JetBlue is so good tho!
Delta is actually extremely good for both domestic and international. I can also definitely recommend southwest for domestic destinations.
same here! I adore JetBlue
Micah Byron I like both Jet Blue and Delta.
Sir have you ever heard of southwest
I haven't flown fly pegasus but I'm planning on doing it
I flyed with pegasus before and it was comfy, but everything was so expensive
What your next vid about? Emirates? I really want you to review American Airlines 777-300, 737-800, A321 and A330 because it’s hard to find them on vids.
Really nice video wish you luck with everything anyways how was your flight ? In my opinion Pegasus is pretty nice .
Glad you took the leap and tried it, It looked like a smooth pleasant trip. I hope you enjoyed Jordan it looks Beautiful. :)
Don’t judge an airline - like don’t judge a book by its cover. Lol
pegasus is good fly with them agin
You flying it for us?
Another amazing review! I appreciate your unbiased views! Also, your blurb at the end about the hotel was great too. I’m always curious where you choose to stay when ur flying and why. Sending love from Canada! Keep up the great work!
From the first impression the sign looks like flypigs.com! haha
Jordan looks amazing
For me, Pegasus is in my list of the top 5 airlines I will NEVER fly with.
What's No1? Let me guess, Ryanair ✈
That Turkish delight looks fantastic!
After two runway overshoots within a month with several injuries, now you know why you DON'T want to fly with Pegasus.
I love bus gates. You have such a great view of the plane.
Anyone came here because Pegasus crashed?
Yea
Me and im going on a pegasus plane
Two accidents, the same accident and the same aircraft. Seems like negligence
Not me but I'm here because of his qatar airways vedios
I was in The Pegasus crash...
I really enjoyed pegasus from hurghada to istanbul , i was shocked as you, that they are actually pretty decent airline.
Is anyone from turkey ?🇹🇷🇹🇷

Legroom: Welcome to 90ies scheduled air travel!
I had an awful awful experience on Pegasus and I’ll never fly on it again. 🤮
Salieri Amadeus What happened
You’ll be surprised with the legroom at JetBlue but that’s over here in the states!
I LOVE JETBLUE!
