Years ago I took a friends 426 Hemi with open headers through the Lincoln Tunnel at 3 am. When I got to the New York side there were several Port Authority cops waiting to greet me.
I bet the PortAuthority guys wanted to take that hemi for a ride. PS: That must of been cool when you got to the City. Sound bouncing off the building like a canyon.
Sadly China dictates the end of use of all combustion cars worldwide. Its not about the environment....Chinas boss Darth Xi told most politicians that they wont do any business with underdeveloped countries that still allow CO2 emitting traffic, aircrafts, ships or combustion based industry after 2030...I am sure USA and UK also will be forced by China to 100% electric traffic because today no industrialized country can afford sanctions by China.... China just rules the world and wants to sell lithium and e cars ...:-(

@waveguerilla When I used to drive my Corvette and we would go to a late night car meet everyone would be standing by the street waiting for us to get there because they heard us a couple of miles out haha.

If it actually had just open headers you would have heard it way before you got inside that tunnel
