    Nice job Kirk! I'm actually Executive Producing my FIRST Streamyard project for a friend premiering this month, and doing EVERYTHING you're doing, so this video came up right on time 👍. Funny, I literally took a screenshot myself of the 2- camera layout after finding zero tutorials or information on the size of those boxes. Appreciate the video 🙏

I was just thinking of ways I could help my church marketing ministry by creating more live stream content that would help my church. Kirk thanks man.Yet again another very useful video. thank you for sharing this. Can show us how you execute the videos in chronological order without having to go through second gap in between. do you use background image as place holder to switch in between. Also, do you preload all the videos before hand as shared video file in Stream yard ? because as soon as you add them videos starts to play. Also if you remove the video from livestream, audio still continues to play.
    how do you overcome this?

    • @kirkrnugent
      @kirkrnugent  3 роки тому

      If your playing videos loaded into StreamYard it's hard to play one after the other without that second Gap. What I do is ensure the video has a few seconds of at the end which allows me to click the next video but the easiest is as you mentioned out up a flyer or full screen overlay which will be under the video when it finishes allow that flyer to be in screen for s few seconds then play the next video. Additionally you want to play each video before going live this helps with the gap as well.
      When using the Shared Video Playback option I always pre-load then so they are in the studio ready for me. If your shared video is still playing audio chances are you haven't removed it from the stream you've just changed layouts so it appears gone but it's not. If you chose a layout where the shared video is available you'll see the video again. I have a video in this as a way to play background audio check it out here - ua-cam.com/video/qXQunN23b2E/v-deo.html

    Hey Kirk, great content man! What do you think about the streamyard video quality? the fact of streamyard process the image in the cloud, it seem to me that it delivers a poor image quality, even if you are using pro 1080p version with goo internet connection, it seems that the bitrate is pretty low making the image getting pixelate... So you shot with a 4K camera and its look like a webcam... what can i do?

    • @kirkrnugent
      @kirkrnugent  3 роки тому

      Felipe, thanks for your comment and support for the channel. Your question is interesting and leads me to wonder what your setup is in terms of how your getting your Video into the System. StreamYard has two quality settings one for camera and one for broadcast both need to be set to 1080p to get the best picture. Also facebook downgrades to 720 so don't watch it back there rather watch on UA-cam. Ive also found that my screen can play tricks on me in terms of the quality i'm getting. Tomorrow's video will deal with the StreamYard Video and Stream Quality settings, I hope it's helpful.
      I use a Sony a6000 with a Sigma 16mm Lens on a 4k Elgato Capture Card and I never look like i'm using a webcam. So it's either Platform settings, Capture Card, destination limitations, or internet speed that is affecting your picture.

    • @toledof
      @toledof 3 роки тому

      @@kirkrnugent tks for your answer! Yeah, I'm setting both in 1080p and I use BM atem mini pro to get video into the system. I'm bringing this up because i did some tests using the same set up but making the broadcast through the Vmix to UA-cam and the image quality when it is processing by Vmix is freaking better than the StreamYard Cloud encoding. Same set up for both, StreamYard and Vmix to UA-cam... the difference is bruttal. I was wondering if if you could know something about it, if i am doing some wrong, or if it is what it is, like... That's the way StreamYard works... low bitrate.. and there's nothing we can do...
