I recently started using Streamyard and following your channel. Love the info that you provide & your teaching style. When I try to add a custom background for use with with the spotlight camera, I’m finding that Streamyard won’t let me adjust the position of the camera frame how I want it. When I try to move it to certain location and save the layout, Streamyard snaps it back to what seems like a default position. Do you have a video that explains how to reposition/resize the camera frame for use with custom backgrounds and overlays?

Hello again Kirk! So I followed along and created an overlay for my Streamyard. On the 2nd page, I'm able to see the live person, but not so on the 1st page that has my 2 backgrounds. May I ask if you would have any suggestions why the person isn't showing on the 1st page? Thank so much.
I don’t know why you’ve designed so when you say first and second page it’s not clear what your referring to. Maybe share a time stamp of the video or describe what the overlay is for. Is it a one person or two person? How did you export it? Was it supposed to be with transparency? Hope this helps but if not give us some more detail if you can so we can clarify, thanks.
Great info!! I decided to make canva one of the subscriptions i should invest in. I like the option to create zoom backgrounds which work really well with green screen as well! You gave some great tips! thank you!

Thanks for your comment and support. I take a screenshot of whatever guests I have in StreamYard and then upload that to Canva and design on top of it to get the right dimensions. Bless you. I have a question. Every time I save it and go to upload onto streamyard, the text is a little blurry. I have the free version to canva. Is it possible to fix this?? It looks messy. I’m using the right size and everything you did, I did (except the design)

Thanks for your message and support of the channel! The Free plan has the watermark, however I'm not sure if the basic plan allows for overlays which is what I use for these custom graphics. I have the Pro plan, hope that helps.
Yes! Now I can craft intriguing backgrounds in Canva👍🏼💥The step by step guide from beginning to end was cool. Was there a reason you mentioned (at the end) having screen names off but didn't turn them on to show the difference?
In hindsight I should've shown a difference... It's an option in StreamYard that serves as the speakers LowerThird which you don't need if you're making a custom LowerThird. Sorry about that
Thanks for your comment. Would be a video or image? If so you can upload it and it should work I guess I need some more information. A 30 second video can definitely be used as an overlay providing it's the right size and file format (under 200mb / .MP4) Hope this helps!

I recently saw a background whereby it appeared the entire page was covered in sponsor ads, etc. All I saw was graphics at the top and bottom and the guest. I'll continue to work and create on Canva. Absolutely. I'm not sure what video I did that in but I plan on doing a full Canva video soon. Basic steps are: Take a Screenshot of two people on screen in StreamYard, make the screenshot the base of your 1280 x 720 design, size and place your LowerThirds on the screen, delete the base/screenshot, and export as a transparent png then import into StreamYard as an Overlay.
Question. I did this for my friends youtube channel but when we go in streamyard and select layout the background is visible but our camera feed isn’t. Any idea why that is?
Are you uploading the background into the background section? Based on what you shared I think your loading it into the overlay section which is covering your videos.

How many videos do you have in screen?
If you only have one (your own) it will cover the background which is normal.

Thanks for your comment! Can you explain further what you mean? The StreamYard provided backgrounds are in the background section of their Studio under the Brand tab. Is that what your referring to?
