These replace the entire strut and spring assembly both front and rear. The front only needs the spindle portion kept.
how do you like the silvermine setup so far on 280zx struts? looking for for a solution for my street driven 510. with no adjustment for caster was there anything else you could do to gain some positive caster?
I actually have S12 200SX SE spindles to run 5 lug hubs. They actually have worse positive camber than 280ZX units.
The Silver Mine stuff is pretty good. Lots of adjustment and the adjustment knob actually makes a difference. There isn't any caster adjustment in them. I'm running Futofab lower control arms and T/C rods. They're really nice, but T3 offers good stuff too. That's about the only way to get more caster in these cars. I'm only running about 3.5 degrees and can't get much more due to tire clearance on the front fender area.
@@Jeffball610 thanks for the info! i have a set of 280zx struts laying around so perhaps my caster concerns have been answered. futofab stuff is really nice along with the T3 stuff too, im based in LA so probably the DP racing arms and tc rods may be closer to get. I guess for street set up, a little caster is better than 0 caster. Ill probably run these coilovers with my 280zx struts and mini big brake kit to fit 13s and 14 inch wheels. btw nice ride and swap, i would never have though of a 4g63, wow
