Wrong you are legend. I watched your video once and in 1 hour of practice, I cut down my time by 1 sec. I an at 1.39.6 so still a way to go but that is much better than before. Thanks!
Thank you for making these tutorials, these have yielded me great results! Ive only been ever to match your lap times within 0.5 seconds only one or two times so it shows you have talent!! Thanks again for making these
i think 1:35-1:36 is def doable and probably more so with the updates to the sim. i am getting 1:37 my crappy setup by feel and tire temps LoL. My lines and gear choices are also different so it all depends on driving style i guess. For example i brake later and deeper for turn 2 for a late apex run out instead of tighter two apex drive out. just practice and see what works!
on every external view we can't see which gear you're on, nor the state of your pedals making the whole thing pointless. Also we don't know if you are using baseline setup or not. If you are not using baseline this is useless aswell. Also in the cockpit view the hands are in the way.
It's an older video, the updated one will release today. the inputs are still visible in the cockpit view. In the new ones they are also in the guide part, together with the gears. I'm using the baseline setup, it's noted in the description. The hands stayed 😄 The reason for this was that iRacing is a sim and not like and other game. You can't recreate the lap by copying my inputs. Things like braking points shift by several meters depending on the state of you car, your tires, the state of the track and the weather. The most important things are the ones I say, the markers, the line I describe. Once you understand where you want to be in the track the inputs will follow naturally.
Man I love this guy. Best iracing track tutorials.
1:37's are like world class around here, nice driving
I believe the top get mid 1:36 laps? My quickest is 1:37.25, in a race I have gotten a 1:36.9
