H O W E V E R.................................one problem and it lies when we try and put the ring back on by crimping it with a screwdriver......this is a no go. i repeat.....its a NO GO.....the new chrome crimp is damaged by the screw driver because the crimping is inconsistent....there must be a better way. once the chrome ring is bent this way....there is no going back. it cant be fixed. and they are not cheap to buy.......hopefully marcel den butter can give us a better solution.

There is a better solution: buy a special tool or outsource it to me. I have such a tool as I close hundreds of these gauges each year. If you have to close a few, the 250 euros investment is too high.
I said in this vid that the bottom side of the ring is not that proper, but that side will be covered by the rubber ring.
