That's a really helpful video., but took a bit of searching to find it. This job is one of the trickiest and you have to have a careful hand. Thanks for sharing, very useful (I have a tacho that is only responding very slowly).

Hi Marcel, I’m based in the UK, instead of using what we call a jubilee clip/ clamp, I’d like to use to same cable clamp that you used. Have you got the part number/ name/manufacturer/ supplier of the cable clamp that you used? Yours is better because the contacting face of the clamp is flat/even, but with the worm drive clamp/jubilee clip it’s not even and leaves a mark on the crimp ring. If you could point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Peter, I bought this clamp 13 years ago at a local hydraulic equipment shop. I don't use it anymore as I have a professional crimping machine to crimp the rings. So I advice to visit a local shop that is specialized in hoses to fund such clamp.

    Hi Marcel,
Could you tell or show how to change spring inside the tachometer and speedometer?
I mean clocks from F1 and do you know where I can get it? For any tips or advice I will be grateful. Regards from Poland.Thx

Hi Arkadiusz, Why should you change the spring? Is it broken? The easiest way to to replace the spring is bij replacing the center shaft with spring from a donor bike. If you want to remove the spring, there is a big risk that you will damage the gauge
