Van Halen Style Backing Track In E
Вставка
- Опубліковано 20 вер 2019
- NOTE: THE CHORD DIAGRAM FOR THE G CHORD SHOWS FRETTED NOTES ON THE HIGH B AND E STRINGS AT THE SECOND FRET THIS SHOULD BE ONE FRET HIGHER ON THE THIRD FRET
It`s "Party Time"
Van Halen were(are?) very skilled in taking rock music which is usually doom-laden and minor sounding and injecting some good time vibes.
The guitar drops out at 6:12 so you can practice both rhythm and lead over just drums and bass.
This guitar jam track basically goes from E to A and back.
You could use the E minor blues scale over the whole of this backing track, but everybody wants some good times so try adding some Mixolydian licks along side the blues scale. Use E Mixolydian for the E section and A Mixolydian for the A section.
As usual have fun.
Jamies Cryin now...RIP Eddie! God blessed Us with the best...
🎯
Rip Eddie
Very good job guy, ....Eddie you miss so much..... for your guitar and humanity...you'll never die! The best guitar player all over the world, no one as you! RIP dear friend and my far teacher!

IS ANYBODY UP FOR THE CHALLENGE OF DROPPING 'VAN HALEN' - ***LITTLE GUITARS*** that is 1/2-step down to Eb instead of E Standard. Like is nobody caoable of doing this? I will be eternally grateful.
it changes to a major key?
Killer!
You have a real odd definition of a G chord at places like 0:44, etc.
Thanks for the comment Andrew. By changing the B to a D it makes the chord more even when playing with distortion, in effect you have replaced the 3rd interval with a fifth in the treble strings, it is still just the notes from a G chord. If you play the traditional open G chord there are almost too many harmonics and it sounds to me less powerful. I guess you are listening to more VH at the moment, just listen to how much the band swing, especially Eddie, in my opinion this is what made VH so successful, it sounds like they are having fun.
@@fusedguitar9507 Been playing for 40 years. I know exactly why one would play a G chord with a D and G on the B and E strings. My point, however, was that at 0:44 (and other places) your chord actually and incorrectly shows the G chord but with C# and F# on the B and E strings. IOW, your G chord is WRONG. CHeck it out!
@@AndrewDeFaria OK Andrew I meant no offence, I get people of all abilities leaving comments, and I thank you for pointing out the mistake, I misunderstood your point. It is important not to be giving out bad information there is enough of that on UA-cam already. I have edited the description, re-editing the video would be a nightmare.
@@fusedguitar9507 I wasn't offended. Yeah re editing the video would be a pain.
Cool but pretty much just Jaimes crying kinda
agreed
Does it matter ya arse hole
Could that be why it's titled "Van Halen style backing track"?
It's a Vamp Halen track!
