very cooLLL
what does the 0/0 percent sign mean on that 4th bar please anyone?
Thanks for the message here. The meaning of the % symbol is: Repeat the previous measure.
That is, continue on the same chord as the previous measure.
Repeat chord
I play it with an E dominant ninth rather than #9.
Not Ravel's "Pavane" but quietly -- okay, histrionically -- elegaic.
Thank you
...and I've finally learned how to play the fucking thing.
@@brianallancobb it is "the hendrix chord" i dont think it's in the original recording but it sounds just fine in this, and it's used in purple haze and foxy lady, so yer good learning it
Ah ok
Im sure you got It... 🎸
@@MaranGuitarTracks tnx man. I dont know about this tuning down stuff tbh ..
@@TFFSRAD That's simple. If you want an Eb tuning, all you need to do is tune all the strings a half step lower.
@@MaranGuitarTracks otherwise it sounds off or false ? Sorry man i dont know
@@TFFSRAD That's a law of physics isn't it? If you tune your guitar half a step down, then you always need to play 1 fret forward to get the same sound.
Me thinks yer 7#9 is a ROOT 5 G7#9 not an E here...then again, I'm scotch buzzed- check it out. I'm cool if I'm wrong- but perhaps Jimi's bud from the hereafter otherwise. :-) Otherwise, nice simple backing track my man!
Thank you 🎸
I'm a Brazilian guitarist and honestly I didn't understand exactly what you meant, but thanks anyway for commenting and expressing your opinion. Lets play the Blues 🎸
@@MaranGuitarTracks Most welcome. I mean: Switch out "E7#9" for correct: "G7#9"
well the original is Emajor and E7dom, but i think the E7#9 sounds cool in this. it is "the hendrix chord" and this is just a track to solo over, i dont think hes trying to cover it note for note here
@@gristamshackleford2102 Thank you very much for commenting here. I understand what you wrote. But if you listen carefully to this track, you'll hear that the chord being played is E7(#9) and not an E7.
