- This backing track is B minor throughout, so natural minor scale, B minor pentatonic and B blues scale will work well.
This jam track was put together with loops from Chimp Spanners `Ambient Metal Vol 2` sample pack available from Loopmasters, link below, I added bass and drums.

Im highly tempted to add a long solo to this one. The only problem i have is, that there is no space for me with rythym guitar only. So i have to force myself into it with a 3rd guitar ;-) It basically is no problem to make that, my lead sound can and will get the attention. But i just don´t like to do that on this one, because the structure is so clear and fits so well together, that i kinda don´t want to disturb it. I let you know and share the results if I like them myself. Already did that with some great results taking Tracks from Sweet Jam Tracks. Dont mind this account btw. Im gathering those files for the real deal :)

Hi Lucas, thanks for the comment. Yes you are correct they use the same tracks, they come from a sample pack by Paul Ortiz of Chimpspanner fame. I really like what they have done with the tracks, and they have learnt the parts, there is a video of them playing it live. It does raise the question, should you use other peoples idea`s for your own music? I am happy to do this for backing tracks on this channel but not so sure I feel comfortable as a base for original music, but many do, Skrillex etc

hello can I get an exact tab of the main riff you played it was truly universal, and amazing, I used three power chords b minor d and g but can't figure out now how you played it exactly there is a variation.

They might be those...I cant remember what they're called... harmony chords? Example, 7th fret on 6th string, played with the 5th fret on the 5th string. That's just a guess though. I havent tried to figure it out myself. I need to because this sounds great

Hi Sanno, thanks for the comment but I cannot take credit for the rhythm guitar on this particular track that is Paul Ortiz. His music goes under the name "Chimp Spanner" and he uses 7 string guitars.

Can I use E Dorian through this progression? Or maybe the Em7 Pentatonic scale?
Hi Ronaldo, yes you can use the E Dorian mode, it has the same notes as the B minor scale. The E minor penatonic scale will work too, just be careful with the G note as this is the #5 of B minor and sounds quite tense and wants to resolve down one fret to the F#, but this can sound good if that is what you are after. Have fun.
