Funniest moment in the whole first Avengers movie is Loki getting ragdolled by Hulk. Even if I'm having a bad day, that moment never fails to make me laugh.
That will always be in the top 3 favorite moments of the entire franchise.
The way we all were crying laughing in the theater when it first happened. Oh man, good times.

@@Mr.Ekshin the problem is, they go a long time in between MCU movies so they forget things. Most reactors commit to it and watch them one right after the other. They didn't remember that Hawkeye had a cameo in Thor and totally forgot that Black Widow had a pretty big role in Iron-Man 2. I can give them a pass on Hawkeye but not recognizing Natasha is very puzzling.
@@Mr.Ekshin I mentioned that specifically because a lot of online reactors, and people who saw the movie when it first came out, weren't paying attention, so they were confused when Rogers handed Cap some money.

Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow was introduced in Ironman 2.
In Marvel comics, Black Widow was a long time partner of Daredevil, for those interested.
And is the eye candy for BJ to offset Thor for Asia.
Black widow in the comics have a long history with Hawkeye when she was a villain I think she tricked Hawkeye into trying to kill Iron Man
I always loved how Black Widow was completely frightened by Banner despite being in front of a warlord just before.
She was shook.
Because banner is scarier!
Black Widow is the ultimate spy and she knows how to deal with psychopaths, murderers, and tyrants...but all of that is useless against Bruce Banner and the always unpredictable Hulk.

You guys REALLY need to watch the Marvel movies in RELEASE order because there will be characters you won't recognize otherwise, plus , they tell a LOOOONG 28 movie story that is connected. If in doubt as to order Disney+ has a feature to watch them in order built in the platform

They have been watching them in order more or less.
They've watched Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Captain America, The Incredible Hulk and Thor so far. The Avengers is next on the list.

I saw another channel where the first marvel movie they watched was End Game and another where it was Black Panther. They enjoyed the movie for the action but didn't know what the hell was going on, so don't act like it don't matter. that wouldn't be fair to bj and asia

Hawkeye, guy with the bow was in the Thor movie. His name is Clint Barton. Him along with Black Widow are the 2 non super powered people in the group. You kinda missed the final scene.
I think they missed more than that with all the questions from Asia. Sheesh.
I think in the comics,Black Widow does have a weaker version of the Super Soldier serum that Cap has in him.
Clint Barton aka Hawkeye, is the one that Loki mind controlled at the beginning. He's a long standing member of the team. Now you can watch all the sequel movies to all the characters like Capt. America 2, Thor 2, etc. to get where this is building up to in the next few movies. It won't be until Avengers 2 that you understand how powerful Loki's scepter is.
The Hulk is pure rage. He knows the difference if bad and good are a choice in front of him, but he has to release his rage on something
Good way to explain it. I always look at him as emotionally a toddler. Lol but what you said is a better way to explain it and probably more accurate.
And Dr. Banner had been holding him back for years at that point, purely through the sheer power of his own will. Dr. Banner and The Hulk may despise each other, but they are a package deal, and both men know it.
Haven’t seen the avengers in probably 10 years. I forget how perfect Chris Evans is as Captain America. Really well cast.
Well said. All of the casting was solid gold. RDJ IS Tony Stark. Chris Evans IS Steve Fracking Rogers. There have been a few Captain America's, but there is only one Steve.
If you don't know who Black Widow is, before this movie, you're still not on track. Iron Man 2 is important, and it's when she first appears.

They just watched Iron Man 2 long before and out of order. They forgot a lot of stuff. They shouldn't watch so many other movies between MCU because they forget everything, let alone watching them out of order.

Thor is always holding back vs "mortals"
In the comics Thor showed Tony how insignificant iron man is and how useless the suit really is if Thor went harder, thor strength alone is in millions of tons, but the lighting bolt he gave tony in the comics because he had killed Goliath with a Thor robot show how much more powerful he can make them.
IF thor wanted tony expired, he could easily accomplish that

Shock, fear, terror, anger....all the "dark" emotions will trigger the Hulk emergence. The shock and fear of being physically attacked are good triggers!

When I first saw this I had no concept of how they were going to integrate so many characters in such an amazing way for so many movies.

So Loki's scepter is powered by the Mind Stone -- one of the Infinity Stones -- which influences people to be their absolute worst selves. That is why all of the Avengers were at each other's throats on the helicarrier and why Loki was so easily manipulated into invading earth. The best part about this, though, is that this whole tidbit started out as a theory created by fans to fill in plotholes and was made cannon by Marvel in 2019.
The Mind Stone doesn't have to influence people to be their worst selves. It's merely been used in that manner. And when the scepter is just sitting there, the Avengers present were having negative thoughts, so it pushed them in that direction.
I'll never forget how this movie rocked our worlds. The build up was done so well and we got the payoff and then some. You'll see more of Loki in Thor 2 and a few other movies, not to mention his series. His story is far from over. This ended phase 1. Onto phase 2 where the infinity stones become more of a big deal. Everything revolves around them. So far you have only seen the tesseract. I am especially excited for you to check out Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy.

The guy with arrows is Hawkeye. Hawkeye and Black Widow (Natasha) have no super powers.
The archer is called Hawkeye. He has no superpowers. He is Olympic level athlete.
He’s above that. He has above special ops military super sniper level skills. He could take out James Bond easy 😂

Despite having no powers, he is one of the most effective and important Avengers and it was him who brought down the airship; Loki was just the distraction at that point.
There is a long running fan theory that Hawkeye is a mutant. It's not supported by canon but it would make sense since he appears to have perfect aim with any weapon. Then again, Batman is also supposed to just be a mere mortal too. Comics are weird.
Next Abengers movie is Age of Ultron. Clint Barton( Hawkeye) the archer and Natasha Romanoff( Black Widow) are SHIELD agents before joining the Avengers. Hulk is the strongest one going by pure muscles. Thor’s hammer can only be lifted by Thor or by someone else who is worthy.
A friend is an extra in this! You don't see her in this edit, but in the scene when Loki makes that crowd bow to him, she's the gorgeous girl against the left edge of the screen with a golden afro. Furthermore, it was her birthday, and when someone overheard her on the phone with her mom, word spread and everyone sang to her, including RDJ and the other stars.
Oh so cool! What an absolute thrill that must have been for her to be a part of such an epic movie!

@@kyloren1014 She's wearing a sweet pant suit made of silk that the costume designer put her in after he saw her gorgeousness. She had originally shown up to the set (in Cleveland) with plain street clothes. She used to model with Naomi Campbell.
Hawk eye played by Jeremy Renner was in the Thor movie. More of a cameo but he’s the soldier who’s watching Thor as try’s to get his hammer back from the shield base.
Captain, in the beginning said "nothing could surprise me now,." .. Nick Fury said "Bet ya 10 bucks". That is why Captain America gave him 10 bucks once they took off.
The guy with the arrow is highly skilled in martial arts, weapon, archery and basically his accuracy of shooting is 100% don't miss. His superhero name is hawkeye and he had a show that came out december last year
The Hulk literally can jump continents with a single leap. That's right out of the comics. The only thing these movies don't show, is the reason the hulk is unstoppable is because the madder he gets the stronger he gets, there is no limit.
The 2003 Hulk movie is not great, but it's a really good showcase of Hulk's power.
Watching the HULK cartoons in the late 60's, whenever he was done he would literally 'bounce'. Two or three jumps and he was gone.
The Hulk can jump miles in a single jump once he gets going.

Btw, in Norse mythology Loki is the god of mischief. Basically, a very powerful imp.
The hammer isn't so heavy that Hulk can't lift it. The hammer is enchanted so that only Thor or someone worthy CAN lift it.
Fun Fact: Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye/Barton) and Scarlett Johansson (Natasha/Black Widow) have been close friends since they met at a party years ago. He even mentioned the party where they met when he spoke at her Walk of Fame ceremony. When he was offered the role, he and Scarlett were both excited to be working together on this movie. In fact, when Jeremy was out due to an injury on set, they were going to have Scarlett do the big fight scene between her and Jeremy's stunt double, but Scarlett refused. She had them rearrange the schedule so she could do the scene with Jeremy.

Y'all talk about Thor needing to learn about how Loki is. But that's one of the things that I love about Thor. He loves his brother and refuses to give up on him. That's why he is so great. He loves people with his whole heart.

The idea was to show, that when Bruce transforms into the Hulk under extreme conditions, he's so violent, full of rage & destructive, that he's practically dangerous to anybody around him, like a mad tiger breaking out his cage. So Black Widow had to flee for her own safety at that moment.

The archer "Hawkeye", doesn't have superpowers, neither does Black Widow, they are just really skilled at combat. Tony Stark doesn't have inherent powers either, he's just great at inventing stuff (and rich).
He's more or less the "Visionary" of the group, plus his "superpower" is his mind/genius. 🙂
He dealing with Master Shredder up in their🤣🤣quality that made me chuckle.
Barton (the guy with the bow and arrows) was introduced in Thor. He was there when Thor goes to get his hammer and has to fight Agent Colsons men.
The giant flying aircraft carrier... same ship in the scrap yard for the final battle scene in the first Deadpool movie, his girlfriend was in the oxygen chamber on the deck of it where Deadpool fights Francis, before the whole thing fell over on its side.
I have a friend who used to go see these superhero movies with me. He seemed to enjoy them at face value (he isn't a nerd, like me) but, after a while, he gave up since all the movies and many of the TV series are so intertwined that he couldn't make heads or tails of them. And that's the way it goes. The next three Avengers movies are great of course, but if you don't watch all the other movies in between, it's easy to get lost as to who's who and why this or that is happening.
31:00 Note. Colson gets resurrected and leads the cast in the TV series 'Agents of SHIELD' which was a spinoff after this movie.
The last thing you want to hear : Natasha Romanov saying "Let me put you on hold". She was introduced in Iron Man 2, but she's changed her hair since then (she does that a lot).
The scepter was manipulating everybody's mind, that's why they were all arguing.
You missed the last final scene with the Avengers all eating at the Shawarma restaurant. You’ve got to always watch to the very end. They often have mid-credit scenes and final credit scenes. Please go back and watch. It’s really fun.
Now we’re talking! I remember this movie being such a big deal and seeing it in theaters was something else. It really did change the game. Hulk is my favorite and such a badass in this 👊🏽🤘🏽

@@Catherine.Dorian.luckily the good stuff post endgame doesn’t really require any other content to watch other than other good content. Wandavision and Loki lead into Agatha (at least better than the bad stuff) and Deadpool&Wolverine. You could avoid everything else so far and not be lost in the overarching plot. Yet anyways

The only ones I even suggest after Endgame are the two Spider-Man’s and the third guardians, I leave the shows off cause more casual viewers likely won’t want to have to deal with tv shows as well. I didn’t see the third Deadpool yet, is there a tie in to marvel? (As in, something that would show in future marvel films or does it just use the characters in that universe)

FYI, the scene where Thor hits Caps shield with Mjolnir - It's not that Thor isn't strong, it's the fact that the Vibranium shield absorbs almost all the kinetic energy. The shield can mostly tank a Hulk punch as well.

Natasha "Black Widow" Romanoff was in Iron Man 2, the new assistant that was introdcued by taking Happy down in the boxing ring during Tony's training. Tony turned to Pepper after seeing that told her, "I want one."
Although it's not explicitly stated in this movie, the reason that Agent Coulson was so easily able to get in to Stark and Pepper's bungalow at the top of the Stark Tower is because Black Widow had successfully breached all of Stark's security in Iron Man 2.

This was so good on the big screen in 3-D. Just imagine we were flying around New York City in between all the buildings with Iron Man battling all the aliens.

Great movie! Some FYI: Did you miss the final end credit where they were eating shawarma?
- Cap: "Nothing would surprise me anymore." Fury: "10 bucks says you're wrong." Cap: Sees SHIELD Helicarrier, gives Fury $10.
- Loki's Play: Get captured. Use the scepter to make everybody mad at each other so they won't team up. Let the Hulk smash the helicarrier. Loki failed on all counts.
- Hulk is the strongest, but Thor's hammer Mjolnir is the equalizer. Hulk is not worthy to pick up Thor's magic hammer.
- You met Black Widow in Iron Man 2. You met Hawkeye in Thor.
The arrow man is Hawkeye. He is a master assassin and above human accuracy
I love this movie the argument in the laboratory is my favorite scene when Captain America And Iron Man was about to go at it
It is always refreshing to see people who have no idea about anything MARVEL. I'm well in my 30s and I got into xmen in middle school, and then the whole universe from then on, so this for me is super entertaining to see, because I am sure you are probably more familiar with DC heroes (batman, superman, cat-woman, wonder-woman, etc), but I'm sure you'll love MC heroes just as much! Actor Ed Norton, who played Bruce Banner/Hulk in “Incredible Hulk”(2008) was difficult to work with so they replaced him with actor Mark Ruffalo. They also redesigned Hulk’s look to have a similar face to Mark Ruffalo.
There was one other after credits scene. You guys have to follow it through to the VERY end.

If you remember in Captain America the hydra nazis knew that the tesseract was Odin's jewel (aka thors dad) so the tesseract does belong to the Asgardians

Because you all took too much time between movies and watched things out of order, there was so much you misunderstood and forgot. So many things you got wrong. Like, I can't even list them all because it was from the start to finish. Hopefully you can watch the MCU movies closer together and remember things going forward in the proper order.

So yeah, you guys should've been watching-- Iron Man 2 (2010) BEFORE watching The Avengers. That's when you get introduced to Natasha/ Black Widow. Who is just awesomely cool. 😊 The part between her and Happy in the boxing ring is priceless! 😂 And Pepper's reaction is very funny. You need to go back and watch IM2 though.

My older brother is an actor…his stage name is J.D. Evermore…he has been in many movies including Django Unchained. He and I were both living in New Orleans when he worked on Django….one day he came home and told me that Samuel L. Jackson invited the whole cast and crew from Django to see a screening of his new movie that was still a few weeks away from hitting the theaters….that new movie was this one…The Avengers. My brother was able to bring a guest for the screening at a local theater in New Orleans…the Prytania Street Theater…..so I went with him for the screening one Sunday afternoon. I got to meet Samuel L. Jackson and Quinton Tarantino….Samuel sat right in front of me and Quinton Tarantino was sitting right behind me over my left shoulder during the movie. It was the most awesome movie going experience I’ve ever had. So I got to watch this movie with them about 3 weeks before it came out. Btw…I wound up becoming an actor too….my stage name is James W. Evermore….im not doing it anymore for right now but I’ve been in about 20 movies and tv shows. Anyhoo…I love watching y’all’s reaction videos ❤❤❤❤❤
This is when the MCU was legit! OG Avengers still holds up! Lmao - “I didn’t know he ran and stuff”! It is Hulk. He jumps immense distances, can’t die and can destroy any major city within seconds.
two quick points
One, in the comics Bruce and the Hulk are separate personalities Bruce and Thor get along but Hulk and Thor don't that's why Hulk punched thor.
Two, that wasn't the Tesseract they stole at the beginning of Thor it was the Cascket of Infinite Winter a weapon of the frost giants taken and locked away by Odin.
