Love these ideas. You should do more with the fabric mod podge, I keep seeing finished projects for denim jackets, hoodies, shirts, etc. - but no how to’s.
Many years ago I read in a magazine about a way to repurpose leftover scraps of thread or fabric. I don’t remember if they used mod podge to do this but they made a clear bowl with bits of fabric or thread or both embedded binding substance and shaping it over a plastic bowl or balloon and let dry. It made a very colorful container that was clear and the fabric/thread added color and texture to the result. Is that something that you could demonstrate? Thank you for all you do!
Oh my goodness, you guys are so creative and amazing! These crafts look like things that are just my style, pretty, easy and fun! Can’t wait to do it! Keep up the good work!
I soak them in water for about 20 min. Then I run water over them. To get them super clean I run them across a silicone makeup brush cleaning pad. It has little ridges. I get mine at the dollar store.
Love this video. Good info. Can this be used on imitation leather? I want to remodel the trim of my dinette in my travel trailer. Replace the leather with fabric.
i am a tie dyer. would the napkin transfer work on a procion dye shirt? procion is just the typical dye used for tie dye. i make about300 shirts a year and am excited to try this thank you!
Oh my goodness😄.....when Steve said that you need DW-40 it took my mind back a few years. When i was young,my uncle had me calling it DW-40. My dad heard me say it that way,and he corrected me. He said,"baby, it is called WD-40.
Hi my daughter had some momentos that her dad left her and I believe it was done with fabric markers. She would like this made into a quilt. Will this modge podge seal it so the colors won’t run in the wash?
Hi. If it is a project that you plan on washing then yes you need to pre wash to remove the sizing. If it’s home decor or something like a notebook then it is okay to not prewash.
Wow I so very wanted to love this product. I bought some from Michael’s and brought it home and even bought a special Mod Podge brush to use on some felt and when I got the mod podge open I couldn’t pour it out into a dish to dip the wide brush. I tried to pour it...wouldn’t pour. I had to use a spoon to scoop it out it was THAT thick and having never used the fabric type of Mod Podge before, I first tried to use it. I was thinking maybe that’s the consistency of the or something. It’s odd but I didn’t think much of it until four hours later we weren’t seeing anything vaguely resembling drying and I got concerned & went online & watched a few videos and it is an obvious NOT supposed to be this THICK. THIS was actually thicker than Elmers glue and I’m afraid I hope I didn’t ruin a couple of parts to a large project. I went to Michaels for exchange, but every bottle they had was the same wayHas anybody else had this problem?
First of all, I want to say that I'm just a fellow crafter -- I have no connection to this or any other ModPodge or Michael's business/products. These demonstrations are directed towards small scale projects -- under 1-2 square feet. It's a given that for larger projects you must adjust your methods and mediums.. You did not give the specifics of your project. I would think anything over 2' x 2' should be applied with a roller (mini paint roller) in order to get an even coat. Also -- I would make sure the consistency (dilution) of your medium is that of mayonaise rather than thick paste. Which translates to thinner coats, longer drying times, and more applications. The artistry of larger projects has more to do with the understanding of the medium than it has to the inspiration of the form. True story.

I am not finding Mod Podge with the label shown in your video. At Hobby Lobby, Joann, or online. Have they changed the name of it from having the word "Fabric" on the label? If so, what do I look for now?
I'm not sure what Mod Podge formula you are thinking about using.... are you thinking about using Fabric Mod Podge as a top-coat over fabric paint. For fabric paints you usually just need to heat set them to be washable. I would not think you would need a Mod Podge top-coat.
Love the video! Just want to make a comment in regards to the use of the word "organic"...heard it in another one of your videos as well...maybe best to find another word to describe that what you are trying to explain..."organic look" is not the right word in this case.
Hosts and projects were great but the background music was super annoying. It would have been better to just have their instructions and conversation without the music.
Thanks! Please cut the background 'music' it is noisy and makes listening to the instruction a chore especially for those of us that have hearing aids. It really adds nothing constructive.
I want to watch, but the jingly-jangly, bippity-boppity music is too much. Whoever told all the youtubers that there MUST be music playing, really did you all a diservice. Sometimes less is more, and this is one of those times. Dang it. I was really looking forward to seeing all the projects, too. 😑
Funny you said "cover those logos on other bags" because that is what brought me here. I am covering Yeti's big ol' logo on my new lunch cooler.
I'm not a fan of the bog logos...LOL.
Love you guys, working together (much emphasis)!!! Great ideas.
Thanks so much!
Absolutely love this!
You guys are amazing!! My head is spinning with wondrous and unending ideas!! Thank You! Thank You!! Thank You So Much !!!
Love these ideas. You should do more with the fabric mod podge, I keep seeing finished projects for denim jackets, hoodies, shirts, etc. - but no how to’s.
We are planning a denim video in the next few weeks :)

Oh.... yes - we made something similar for Easter one year. We used thread and yarn to make string eggs. Yes - we can do a video on that!
Thanks for the great ideas. I had no idea there was a fabric mod podge. Guess its time to try it out.
You will love it! It has so many uses.
This is my first time on your page... OMG YOU TWO ARE GREAT!!! I love how you explain the do's and do not's as you go along.
Oh my goodness, you guys are so creative and amazing! These crafts look like things that are just my style, pretty, easy and fun! Can’t wait to do it! Keep up the good work!
I really enjoyed your demo, thank you, Elsie from Sebastian, Florida
Thanks so much! :)
You two crack me up. My favorite project was the denim pillow. ❤️
hehe! Thanks so much!
Thank you for explaining this so well! 😊😊👍👍
Thanks so much! Glad you liked it! :)
Thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas and great demonstrations. I really enjoyed this video!
Thank you!!
No I haven't used it before. I want too. Thanks for showing us.
Thanks!!
Love your projects. To speed up the drying process with the shoes could you use a blow dryer? 🤔
Yes you can! But don't use high heat.
I just love you guys ! So enjoyable to watch..Thank you.
Thank you!!! You just made my day!
I used to watch you on TV then lost you...so glad I found you two again !
I have never seen the fabric Podge. I love it!
It's so good! Such a fun formula to work with!
This is amazing!! I love it!! How and what do you clean your brushes with.
I soak them in water for about 20 min. Then I run water over them. To get them super clean I run them across a silicone makeup brush cleaning pad. It has little ridges. I get mine at the dollar store.

Thank you for the information very helpful.

This is amazing!! Please show something on matel tin boxes
#200 👍🏻 and new subscriber, just found your channel and looking forward to watching more!
Welcome aboard! Thanks!
im going to make some bags and have a go at those books love watching your channel love from uk
When I use thin/stretch tshirt I use stiff iron on interfacing on the back to work with it better,
i am a tie dyer. would the napkin transfer work on a procion dye shirt? procion is just the typical dye used for tie dye. i make about300 shirts a year and am excited to try this thank you!
I know I see cute shirts the I wish would be on a grown up shirt...now I need to get this and start making shirts
Debbie..... it is so fun doing tees and easy!
On the bottom of the storage container for something that big could you clip the material to make it easier to fold over

That is so funny! I didn't even notice that he said that. When you are live you just keep going.
Great Vid! Are you able to use paper to fabric with Fabric Mod Podge?
Wow a fan from UK could i use parchment paper instead of wax paper?
Yes - for sure you can use parchment paper. Thanks :)
Can you iron the garment after using fabric mod pod ge?
Yes....you can iron it.
Hi my daughter had some momentos that her dad left her and I believe it was done with fabric markers. She would like this made into a quilt. Will this modge podge seal it so the colors won’t run in the wash?
I have some white tennis shoes that are getting dirty and I don't want to have to wash them so I will definitely be giving them a facelift
You don’t place cardboard between layers of fabric, so it must not soak through to the layer below.
It doesn't soak through.
Do you need to prewash your fabric?
Hi. If it is a project that you plan on washing then yes you need to pre wash to remove the sizing. If it’s home decor or something like a notebook then it is okay to not prewash.
If you are going to wash you use mod podge on top but if not going to wash you can use it like glue??
yes - that is pretty much how it works. But I have not topcoated many times and washed with no problems. Just make sure you get the edges real well.
Does this work on yarn/thread?
Sure! I did an art piece with yarn and it worked great. :)
There is a recap at 51:00 for anyone who can't handle an hour of background nursery / preschool halloween music.
Could you use patches to put on the cloth

How about paper or photos to fabric?
Where did you get the Fox template you used for the bag?
The fox was cut from an Old navy T Shirt.
Can you sew through the fabric podge?
yes.... but handstitching works best.
Can you use the fabric mod podge on fleece
Hello. It doesn’t work well with polyester fleece. Wool fleece is fine. But polyester doesn’t work well.
cool pillow
what if i wash the fabric in which the mod podge was applied, can mod podge be remove or would it stay even if i wash the fabric?
